Within a sun-kissed valley way off the campus, there’s a vast field of flowers that consists of only one color— blue. The area is completely tree-less, except for one tree, and it’s always warm due to certain magics that cause the season to remain forever spring. At the North end of the field, a large waterfall rests, water flowing freely. Behind the pouring waters, a mysterious cave sits empty, drawings scribbled on the wall that were by a small child. However, a barrier blocks passage into the cave, and the way to deactivate the barrier is hidden. To the south, a large tree sits, alive and well. It’s large roots burst out of the ground, forming what would be a fun jungle gym for small children up to eight years old. A wooden swing is tied onto a strong limb of the tree.
On both the west and south sides of the plain, two dragon statues stare at each other, an orb in both of their mouths. Maybe there is a special purpose for these? Indeed there is, but only a few know of this secret. Then, there is the center of the plain, which has a large stone circle with a symbol engraved in it. The statues, the symbol, and the waterfall cave all have something in common.
This field is a great place to relax, and it has healing powers of sorts.

Daisuke walked quietly into the fields, his hair now soft and dry. He still had his beach bag with him, and he tossed it aside as he set foot on the stone circle. Perfect. He lifted his hand into a fighting position, letting out a painful yell as he felt the demon suck itself out of him. Daisuke suddenly grew paler as he stared at the forming demon angrily. His back suddenly gave, and he was bent over, two, sharp knives in his hands. "Sunnava... he grew bigger...." He said quietly, his sapphire blue eyes filled with anger and stress.
Amon, the demon within Daisuke, gave a low, chilling hiss. "You called?" He asked, his disgusting smile irritating Daisuke greatly. Amon examined Daisuke's pose for fighting, and he gave an irritating chuckle. It made Daisuke twitch. "You plan on fighting me, child? High price for such a precious youth..." He whispered, running an extended finger up Daisuke's throat, and falling off his chin, It left a long, red scrape, but Daisuke paid no mind to the sting. Daisuke walked backwards, not wishing for the demon to touch him once more.
"What if I do?" Daisuke snapped, his pupils becoming mere, black slits. He was getting excited... but angry-excited. Exciting Daisuke wasn't always the best thing to do when it was an angry excitement. Daisuke let out a low hiss, Once more his back arching, his body loosening up as if he were about to go on a mad dash for the kill. "If I win, you obey me, and only me. got it?" Daisuke growled at Amon, getting a chilling chuckle in response. "Deal... If I win... things stay as they are... and something extra will happen..." Amon wagered, not willing to reveal his secret. "Deal.." Daisuke reluctantly answered.
Then suddenly, Daisuke leaped, sprinting wildly towards the demon. Amon merely gaurded himself with his hand, Daisuke freezing in place. He snickered, suddenly dissappearing. Amon turned to see if the neko boy was behind him, but soon as he turned, Daisuke leaped, his knife plunging down into the back of the demon. Amon hissed in protest, throwing Daisuke into the air as he shook his back. Daisuke landed with a hard 'thud' on his feet, and when he tried to stand back up, Amon tossed him aside. The boy landed on his arm, almost positive he heard a loud 'crack'. He winced when he tried to push himself back up, positive he broke his arm. Not a good sign. He leaped back up this time, His broken arm dangling at his side, his knife hed tightly in his able hand.
"How do you suppose that you'll beat me with a disabled arm, boy?" The demon asked menacingly, his blood red eyes staring into the boy's. He could tell that Daisuke was afraid, but he would not back down. "Your trembling," the demon whispered in Daisuke's ear, bending down to meet him at his height. The perfect opportunity. Daisuke suddenly jumped, His once small knife changing into a katana. He felt the blade cut trough the rough outer skin of the demon, and he heard Amon let out a loud howl. Amon was livid.
Once more, Daisuke found himself soaring through the air, but he landed on his back, gasping from impact as he hit the ground. Amon sent his sharp claw into Daisuke's chest, Daisuke coughing up blood as he did. "A...Ayame.." He gasped, his eyes wide. He felt the hot sting behind his eyes, and he grabbed Amon's long claw, sputtering up blood as he did. It trickled slowly down his cheeks as he gasped. "Ayame..! I... love you!" He barked, even if she wasn't there to hear him. How he longed to se her at this very moment.

Kisa had hesitated only a second before darting after Ayame, her eyes wide. Kurri was in her arms, the towel lopsided around her shoulders, and her clothing draped over one arm. She hadn't bothered pulling it on. Instead she just hurried after the younger girl, and the closer they drew to the fields, the stronger the scent of familiar blood became.
She grimaced, then skidded to a halt as she saw the demon, pressing Daisuke down with his claws in his chest. She dropped Kurri, her clothing, and the towel, her hand instantly reaching for her sword. Only, she hadn't brought it with her. She cursed under her breath, bits of red flecking her green eyes, and her ears laid back.
Should she jump in? She needed to help! She looked anxiously at Ayame, then angrily towards Amon. "Get off!" she shouted, taking several more steps towards him. Her hand was already glowing faintly green, hardy noticable. But, as soon as she got the chance, she'd dash forward and start healing Daisuke.
Her eyes fell to Daisuke's face, and she froze for a moment, her own widening as flecks of blue mixed with the red and green, the last of which was rapidly fading from view. For a brief moment, another nearly forgotten face had flashed in place of Daisuke's. Kisa's anger seemed to triple, as she let out a loud, deep growl bursting from her throat. "Get off!" she snarled again, fangs baring and seeming to grow larger, along with her claws. Just because she didn't have her sword, didn't mean she couldn't still fight.

Ayame gasped, falling back as she saw Daisuke pinned to the ground. "N-no..." she muttered, tears falling fastly now. Her eyes widened, but her pupils became much smaller. She shook from the fear that coursed through her blood, the fear that she breathed in and out. "Daisuke..." She muttered. She almost never called him by his real name. Ayame feared for his life. "Stop..." she managed to utter. She pushed herself up weakly, Her grey eyes darting around quickly. The darkened sky, and the flowers took on a black color... it was all too much. "Stop it!!" She screamed, her scream echoing throughout the valey they were all assembled in.
The demon halted his activities, smiling with a smile that would disgust anyone. "Stop? Get off? As you wish..." He chuckled, removing his long claw from Daisuke's chest, and floating quickly over to Ayame. He ran his finger up her neck, rolling off of her chin, much like he did to Daisuke. "I will be back... believe this..." He whispered menacingly, his demonic red eyes full of a twisted happiness. "You lost... Daisuke." He said to the paralyzed neko boy, dissappearing quickly as he re-entered his body.
"A-ayame..." Daisuke muttered, not able to do more than tilt his head.

Kisa growled again, watching the demon through eyes now purely red. She stepped forward, to intervine, but he'd already reached Ayame. Lucky for him, he didn't do much. She certainly would've snapped if he had. She was barely holding herself back even now. As soon as he'd gone, she darted to Daisuke's side. Her expression was a glare, but her voice was somehow soft. "You'll be fine," she whispered, and placed her hand lightly on his chest.
The faint green light spread like a fog, drifting from her hand to Daisuke's chest, then disappearing beneath the skin. Hopefully, the first thing to happen would be a numbing of the pain. Beneath the tears in the shirt, one could see the skin repearing itself, starting first with the layers beneath. She noted his arm, and the slightly awkward way it was positioned. She didn't have much practice with bones, but she assumed she could fix them as well. The chest seemed more threatening though, so she'd start with it.

Ayame dashed over to Daisuke and Kisa, and halting hen she reached them. She kneeled down onto the ground, right next to Daisuke's head. She carefully lifted his head, and placed it on her lap just as gently. "Daisuke..." she whispered softly, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I took you to the beach and I got you wet, and then you came here but..." Ayame stopped, Daisuke's finger to her lips. She put the back of her hand on his cheek, and Daisuke's hand moved away from her mouth and also to his cheek.
He grabbed Ayame's hand, and he rested his head on it. "Silly... silly girl. Don't... blame yourself." He replied softly, giving her a warm smile. "Thanks... Kisa. Thank you so much... for being here." He sighed, looking back up at Ayame. Another day. He would tell her another day.
"I'm sorry I have to do this... Daisuke." Ayame muttered, pulling a simple, silver pendant from her pocket, and she swug it back and forth slowly. She watched as Daisuke's eyes followed it, and he knew what he was in for. "Sleep..." Ayame said. Daisuke's eyes grew heavy, but he wouldn't fall asleep. "Sleep..." Ayame whispered, watching as Daisuke's eyes closed slowly without arguement. "He'll be out for a while. He's so tired..." Ayame said to Kisa, wiping her eyes. Ayame was still tired from swimming... "Thank you so much, Kisa!" she whispered, giving her friend a hug.

Kisa's glare slowly faded into an almost blank expression, a tiny bit of strain showing as she focused upon healing him. The wounds in his chest had healed, and she shifted to his arm. Her healing had a natural numbing effect, so he wouldn't be able to feel the shifting of his bones as they moved back into place. She averted her eyes from the two, instead staring fixedly at the arm she was healing. It was things like this that brought about that terrible feeling of loneliness.
"N-no problem.." she stammered faintly, hearing Daisuke's thanks. When Ayame hugged her, she smiled faintly and nodded her head. "It's nothing," she said again, and pulled her hand from Daisuke's arm. She looked him over for any other cuts and scraps, fixed them up as well, and then settled her hands in her own lap, eyes closing as she heaved a sigh. Healing was so tiring...
Kurri watched from a short distance away, and slowly made his way over once he saw Kisa had finished. He let out a small meow, then placed himself on the wolf demon's lap, staring at Daisuke's face.

Ayame sighed, blinking as she examined Kisa's eyes. Even if Kisa never showed it... she cold tell that Kisa was... lonely. She blinked once again, her eyes looking downwards. Her eyes were currently fixed on Daisuke, watching his pale face, and heard his deep, slow breathing. She wiped the blood from the sides of his mouth with her sleeve, and smiled when it was gone. "Kisa..." she started somewhat sadly, "are you lonely?" she asked. She was curious... Kisa always had that lonely look in her eye when she and Daisuke were around. "Are Daisuke and I... making you sad?"

Kisa stared down at Daisuke, a last check for anything else that may need to be healed. But she was tired, breathing heavily and trying to hide it. Healing bones always took a lot out of her. She frowned slightly, swallowed, and then heard Ayame's question. Her red eyes blinked a couple times, slightly widened, and she quickly shook her head. "N-no! Not at all," she protested. "If I hadn't met you two, it'd still just be me and Kurri!" However, slowly but surely, a faint amount of blue began to appear in her eyes, spreading across the red in a hardly noticable spatter.

Ayame blinked, and she sighed. No use pushing Kisa to answer her question with the real answer. She could tell that blue slowly spattered her red eyes, or at least she thought she did. It was hard to notice. "I'm glad, then. I'm glad that we're friends Kisa-chan. I wouldn't want you to be alone with Kurri." she said happily, smiling. Kisa also looked very sleepy. Ayame figured that she shouldn't put any hypnotic suggestions on Kisa, however. It wouldn't be wise. She looked up though, and she saw a tall, thin male stand behind Kisa. "O-oh." she said.
Kohaku, the white-haired, nineteen-year-old, gave a warm grin, and he dropped a bottle down in Kisa's hand. "It'll restore you're energy." He told her, sitting down with the unfamiliar group. "Wow, this place sure got beat up and gloomy. I'm geussing that there was an ecounter between that boy and a rather large demon, correct?" He said, noting the unconcious Daisuke.

Kira smiled faintly, nodding her head. Ayame and Daisuke were, in fact, her very first friends. Of course, she didn't remember her previous life at all, before the incident when she was shot. She actually had quite a large scar right over her heart, and she had no idea what the cause was, but she didn't think much of it. She was fine, after all.
She blinked when she noticed Ayame looking behind her, and tilted her head back to look as well. At first she froze in surprise. Where had he come from? She hadn't even noticed! Her ears flattened back almost automatically. She felt unguarded, out of breath and without her sword, and also apparently unable to notice people sneaking up behind her.
But when he dropped the bottle into her hand, she caught it, then stared at it blankly. "Oh... thank you," she said uncertainly, and made no move to actually drink it. She just stared instead, her blue flecked red eyes slowly turning green again. Her ears twitched at his next words, and she cast him a quick, slightly wary glance. "Yeah.." She wasn't at all sure what to think of him.
Kurri, however, remembered an earlier conversation with Daisuke, concerning getting Kisa a male friend her own age. So he slowly got up from Kisa's lap, stretched, then casually settled down on the white haired male's. He had been worried before that he'd target the wrong person, but for now this guy seemed ok... The first test would be if Kurri was shoved away by him.

Kohaku blinked, seeing that Kisa made no action or thought to drink what the bottle contained. He gave her an assuring smile, and he honostly said, "It's not going to make you sick or killed you." He observed, meanwhile, how the kitten had removed himself from the wolf-demon's lap, and placed himself in his own. He stroked the cat from head to back, then scratched under his chin. "Hello there." He said cheerily, scratching behind the kittens ears. He loved cats. Their fur was always so soft! Not to mention you could pick most of them up. It did prove difficult to pick up a rather large cat. "Ah.." he sighed, and continued to relax before the group.. Mabey he could be friends with them... yes, that would be enjoyable. "You have a very adorable kitten, Miss." He said to Kisa, cocking his head the his right as he grinned. "Pardon my rudeness. I just sat down without introducing myself! I'm Kohaku! Pleasure to meet you guys."
Ayame blinked at the scene, examining the bottle that Kisa held in her hand. It was a light-blue liquid, and it looked like it was extracted from several plants, but finely mixed together. Truly, it was not toxic. She also watched as Kurri removed himself from Kisa's lap and moved himself into Kohaku's. Was this a... test? Ayame was unsure. When he heard the boy introduce himself, Ayame quickly mentioned her name. "Ayame! I'm Ayame!" She chimed.
"Pleasure, Ayame-chan. Hmm... Thirteen, ne?" He asked, blinking. He looked at her wrist that she had failed to cover, and concluded that she wasn't human, or had any human blood. "Ah! Ahouldn't you be about six? And your friend there... shouldn't he be nine?" He asked curiously.
"Ah! How did you... know that?" Ayame asked curiously, her shoulders slouching.
"I observe things." He replied simply.

Again, Kisa stared at the male uncertainly, a bit unnerved by how he'd just seated himself down amongst them. But he didn't seem to be doing anything wrong... She glanced towards Ayame, then to the bottle, and finally gave in and tugged off the lid. Another small hesitation, and she closed her eyes and drank it. The result was almost immediate. She didn't feel nearly as drained and she was already breathing normal again. Her ears perked, mostly because she felt more relaxed and less strained, and her eyes swirled their natural emerald green.
"...thanks," she said quietly, in regards to both the drink and his comment about Kurri. "His name's Kurri and.. I'm Kisa." Then she fell silent again, secretly wondering how he could observe so much so quickly. Had he been spying on them for some time? His scent wasn't familiar though... She pushed the thought away, and held the emptied bottle towards him.
Kurri was immensely pleased with Kohaku's reaction. Being a cat, and sometimes and especially lazy one, he absolutely loved being pet. He started purring lightly in his throat, content and unmoving except for his tail, slowly flicking behind him. Test one: passed.

Kohaku smiled, cradling the small kitten in his arms, rubbing the top of Kurri's head gently with his chin. "Nice name for such a cute cat!" He replied merrily. He enjoyed the soft purring that Kurri gave. He thne looked back up at Kisa, and gave a happy grin. "Your name's really nice too, Kisa-san. Russian for "Kitty". Not quite sure what it is in Japanese..." Kohaku said to Kisa, drifting off in thought. He then looked at Daisuke, blinking. He took out another bottle, and plopped that down in Ayame's hands. "Indeed, Kisa-san did a good job healing the neko," Kohaku smiled, "But he also lacks energy. Always better to be full of energy. Energy drinks really don't work, in my opinion. Tried one, and I was still tired..." Kohaku rambled, "then I made this handy little drink, and it works much better. Instant effect. Works till you wanna go to bed..." He blinked, once more getting lost in thought. He watched as the sky turned blue slowly. He also noted the flowers returning to their original blue state.
Ayame watched as Kohaku rambled on, taking note of Kurri's happiness. Ayame took it as a good sign, but she said not a word of it. She fumbled with bottle, and finally caught it between her thumbs and index fingers. She sighed as she caught it, removing the cap from the bottle, and snapping her fingers. She watched as Daisuke opened his eyes slowly, and she handed him the bottle. "Drink it, 'kay?" She told him.
Daisuke actually felt much better, but he drank the liquid in the bottle without hesitation. He downed the sweet-tasting drink, and handed the bottle to Ayame. He wiped his mouth, blinking. His eyes opened more, and his ears perked back up, much like Kisa's did. However, he didn't move himself from Ayame's lap. He enjoyed it a lot, and he sighed. He noticed the white-haired male and he blinked. Kurri was... in his lap? He became very curious. Was this the guy that he picked? Then again, he didn't know anything about match making. Kurri probably kneew what he was doing. "I trust you, cat." Daisuke said to Kurri. Only Kurri would know what Daisuke was talking about anyway. Except for Kohaku. Kohaku, however, kept this to himself.
