This is the new outpost.
100% Freedom. 100% RP.
Here are a couple things you should know about RP'ing:
. Moderate your god-modding. What is god-moding you say? its always avoideing your enimes attack, your unhitable and theres not a single thing that can bring you down.
There will be no punishment for this, but by god modding , this gives permission to the opponent to god-mod as well.
2. NEVER Auto-hit: Auto hitting, when you attack your enemy and no always hit them no mater how far off they were or how well protected they are. Auto-hiting is normally always done with god-moding, a deadly combo that could lable you a n00b for the rest of your gain life.
Here is an example of a GOOD RP attack:

Here is an example of a GOOD RP attack:
no_shot
Shot slices at shadow with his flame sword
As you can see, I did not say what happened to the opponent, it is up to the opponent to be a good sport about it and get hit.
Here is an example of a BAD RP attack:
no_shot
Shot slices at shadow, lighting it on fire and killing it
I also strongly suggest that you do NOT kill anyone.
Also, if someone's a higher rank than you, they are allowed to use this.
Another thing: Do not try and look stupid by trying to end a fight immediately.
no_shot
*No_shot teleports behind shadow and puts a knife to its neck* "You lose"
If this happens to you, you have permission to do anything you want, including god-mod or something else, especially if you have a spell caster side like me:
no_shot
(Shadow has the knife to me) "Who are you talking to?" *A voice says from a tree nearby, as the shot that was in danger vanishes*, "Oh, that thing? I left that body a long time ago xd "
A well known combo of the two is hitting your enemy and not only auto-hitting them and god-modding your way out of their attacks; taking control of them. Attacking over and over before your enemy can counter it.
3: Bat-maning: What that you say? no, no, no. Theres no need to worry about being sued over this one. Batmaning is when you bring a new element into the battle; such as suddenly pulling a sword out of a near by table that just so happened to be conveniently there.
I'll ask you again; please list all your weapons and abilities in your Bio. I don't want some guy that always fights hand to hand to suddenly be handed the Excalibur for the lady in the lake that no one ever saw there before your fight.
4. The laws of physics still apply: Now this is a Role Play but you need to think about how things work. A very well know old role payer once said "You don't just fight on Gaia, you need to ally real world logic to it"
5. OOC means out of character. This means that you are not talking as your character would speak, in other words if you wanted to say something to another person, and you were in another place, you would say that thing in OOC.
ANYTHING OOC MUST BE IN PARENTHESIS
IC is in character. This is something your character says, not you yourself. This will be said in regular text.
There are two types of IC speech, action and speech.
Actions will be marked by a star (*). You will open and close every action with one of these.
Words can either be said regularly, or in quotes ("")
Here is a complete example.
no_shot
*Shot retired to his bed, as he looked up at the ceiling* "I wonder what we'll do now that the Zurg are leaving" (Hey man, you catch the game last night?)
Buddy
(Yea, it was a pretty sweet game)
For heavens sake stay in one place IN CHARACTER, at one time. Whenever move, announce your move when you do move. Wherever you went to sleep you will wake up there; simple concept.
This rule is so anyone who was having a conversation with you will know if you are going somewhere else or not.
Now, I'd like for our ranking system to be completely revamped for this. I'll have a different thread for this.
You may host any RP event you wish, but please contact a superior first. I will be holding a schedule of what events are going on. I'd rather NOT have two events going on at once, let the creator do their job.
If you have not heard, the dress code will be a Clot Glamrock Headband, found at the Gambino Hat Rack.
Your clothing on your avi does not have to support whatever your character is wearing.
You do not have to follow a completely regular lifestyle while RP'ing.
For instance, you don't have to go to the bathroom every 5 hours, or you don't have to eat if you don't want to.
I will list the main buildings when I make them.
Happy RP'ing!
