hello everyone, i want to know what will happen if you dont pray? because i for one don't. now dont get me wrong i heart islam, but its just the way iv been rasied. i follow the other 4 pillars of islam reasonably as i can, but i just dont pray. can someone help me?

You should get into the habit of praying five times a day or at least try to.

I think you should pray because if you do you'll feel so relaxed and that Allah is satisfied.

i used to never really pray, only sometimes when my parents told me to.. and even then, i rarely did. i used to always feel bad for not praying, but i never had the motivation to actually start praying five times a day. then, i realized that i'm only alive today because of Allah, and the least i could do was pray and worship Allah. i tried to turn my life around and began to pray. i don't always make every prayer, but i try and inshallah i'll get better as time goes on.
you should try to put a little effort into prayer. you will definitely feel better. mrgreen

Just try. It doesn't even take that long....pray even if your parents aren't either. Just a few minutes can make a big difference.
...I understand you can't make all the prayers because of other priorities, but you should try as much as you can.

In my "opinion" you have to pray 5 times a day, my parents made it a habit for me to do so. Other wise we really wouldn't be Muslim, thats what seperates us from other religions. That and many other things, but you really should get into the habit of praying, it'll help you not hurt you. It'll even hurt you if you don't pray. It will make Allah(swt) happy and thats what our goal in life is to do, to make Him happy so He can give us what we desire inshallah.
Even if you miss a prayer by accedent, or you can't make it in time, make up the prayer don't just ignore it.

You should try to pray. I try to pray five times a day (And I'm so upset when I fall asleep and miss prayer D smile

You really should pray. It's one of the most important pillars of Islam. One difference is that this was given to Muhammed(saw) straight from Allah (swt).

(please forgive me for being ignorant if this is a stupid question...) all the schools that I've been to so far offer a seperate room for prayer...You should especially have one if you have a MSA club.
we all get together and pray when the time comes during school hours.

If your in a public school like me, you wait until you get home to pray. Since you can't just drop down in pray in the first place anyways, haha. You have to make woodu, you can't pray without making that.
Woodu is clensing your body, and you break that if you go to the bathroom or pass gas, etc.
You have to know the direction of the Kaba too.
There's a prayer in the morning (Fajr) that I always do before I go to school.

Go during your free lunch period to an empty classroom. Always make sure you have the teachers permission. I prayed in school during study hall and I was rarely disturbed. If you live in a time zone where you'll miss prayer if you don't pray it at school, I highly reccomend praying at school. There's probably one or two teachers that will understand. All of my teachers from the nicest to the meanest have understood, so give it a shot.

we just have to ask to be excused from class...and if your school doesn't have a room for prayer, then your parents should take it up with the district.
If it's for religious reasons, they always comply. Or atleast they should.

My school starts and ends early, so it was never an issue for me..
I guess you should try your best to, and if you can't, God will understand.
