so, i'd like to enter this account into the arena, but i'm a bit nervous of getting shot down in flames by the revolting brats that hang out there.

to be honest i'm using that as an excuse not to enter yet, but this is a winter avie so the time is now!

do i need to add more?
the 2 items in my sig are ones that i would like to complete the look, simply so she has something to hold really but i don't think they're 100% necessary..

the sceptre i would have to wait until i'd amassed enough tickets for, but i'm sure one of my Purkle friends in another guild would lend me their staff of the angels for an hour or so so i could enter with that completing my look.


i've got as far as asking about this before then procrastinated rolleyes maybe i'll finally have the nerve to do it this time..

the sceptre i think looks good because it's cold and matches the mithrill armour, the staff matches the overall look better.

i'm afraid that the arena nazis will moan about the gold on the armour, plus the fact the her hat and stocking are not the same shade of blue stressed
but again that's just me making excuses, plus i don't have the where withall to whore myself around so more people see my entry, i can simply put it in my sig and hope for the best neutral

I won't lie: All the things you mentioned will probably come up from one avatar nazi or another, just because no avatar is *perfect* in these kids' eyes (unless it's their own atrocity!), but that is a good av, a good look, and a very good theme. You're ready, you want to do it and the timing is good! Forget the brats!

I would borrow the staff or the wand. I like the wand a bit better only because it is more obvious she's holding something, but perhaps the staff would get a better response because of the subtlety? sweatdrop Sorry... I'm babbling. The only other thing that you may not have considered is shoes... or at least a snippet in the story about why she doesn't have any. And a story of course, since some of the kids seem to judge avatars more on the story than anything... (Gaia needs a story arena). And no, don't read this and use my thoughts on the matter as additional excuses not to enter! blaugh

I know the feet/shoes is an area that you've been concerned with.... what about angelic boots, maybe ...? or wear the goddess shoes over the blue stockings? Yes, more gold, but it may not be too bad. Or something just truly odd that you may not have even thought about, perhaps - (going out on a limb to make a point) the blue "ninja" shoe things or the slippers from one of the kimono things.... Rats! Between my lack of sleep making memory recall difficult and the specific colors, I'm gonna end up on tektek looking at this stuff for you! gonk Do you have a ready-made link for your tektek so I don't have to redo her from scratch?

the problem with those new goddess sandals is that the look starts getting too conventionally goddess-like then, and the arena nazis are bored with the goddess look and like to tell you so as often as possible sweatdrop

the main reason i used the blue stockings, apart from them balancing out the blue hat was to add some colour to the lower area, when i tried paler leg coverings they didn't look good at all, and all the white footwear is the wrong shade of white or just looks daft mad

all this was why i didn't enter her before! the nit-pickers really do take the fun out of entering the arena.

very true, but she needs something there..bare feet gives a very incomplete look, makes her look a bit like she's playing dress up, the stockings still seem to be my best option, but they really are a stop-gap option neutral

that's not bad, but it makes her look a bit girly, i've always got the impression that she wasn't keen on that ninja

i'm content to wait until something comes along that i'm happy with 3nodding

if i dress her without the armour it does give a good look, the blue/white of the angelic camisole matches perfectly, but it's not particularly inspiring for me rolleyes
