/&&/__Naruto: The Perfect Pair /&&/__SasuSaku: SasuSaku, one of the most plausible cannon pairs in Naruto, aside from KureAsu of course. This is a pair you either love or you hate. I for one have had my moments with this pair. I go from loving it, to getting bored with it, but everytime I have thought I was done with it I have always grown back into loving it.
SasuSaku is one of the most hated pairs. Simply for the fact that is consists of the two most hated characters in the show. But there are always those die hard SasuSaku fans. I can't say I am one of those, but I do love this pair. Who else here is a fan of SasuSaku?

The Deal with her: Quoting Shikamaru, Sakura is "a female ninja with no special talent". Her job is to hang around battle scenes getting in the way, yelling "Sasuke-kun!" and pissing viewers off. The pink haired nin is also schizophrenic with Inner Sakura being the only interesting thing about her (hell yea!)
Sakura loves Sasuke (who hates her) and hates Naruto (who loves her). She had the longest crush on Sasuke since she was little and fell out with best friend Ino because she liked Sasuke too (sheesh they both need to get a life).
When Sakura was little, she was quiet and shy and often teased about her big forehead. Ino became her friend and taught her to be more confident. As they grew older, Sakura felt she was living in Ino's shadow and grew competitive with her, especially after knowing Ino liked Sasuke too. The first time we see Sakura actually fight was in the Chuunin exams when the Sound ninjas tried to kill Sasuke. In the final exams preliminaries, Sakura tied with Ino.

The Deal with him: Sasuke was a regular adorable ninja student with big dreams of being an excellent ninja like his elder brother. But after Itachi killed their family and screwed up his mind to "live in an unsightly way", Sasuke became cool, and calls himself an 'avenger', whose purpose in life was to kill his brother. For some obscure reason, that made all the girls at the academy fall in love with him.
Sasuke first started to use his Sharingan when he fought against Haku with Naruto at Wave Country. His pretty eyes and body attracted the liking of Orochimaru, who wishes to take over his body after he became truly strong. To show his admiration, Orochimaru left a cursed seal after delightfully sinking his fangs into Sasuke's neck, which Kakashi sealed, but threatens to unleash everytime Sasuke gets excited in a fight.
After engaging in a precarious fight with Naruto, Sasuke felt inferior as he seemed not to be improving as much as Naruto. Orochimaru took the chance to send the Sound 4 ninjas to convince Sasuke to leave the Leaf village to seek more power from Orochimaru. Thus, Sasuke abandoned Konoha (Sakura's endless whining might have helped him decide to leave in a hurry) and is on his way to the Sound village.

Well, I used to hate this pairing with a passion. It didn't make sense, and I didn't understand why people loved it so much.
Sasuke's rejection for Sakura made me sigh, it made me think: God, what's so great about it? Is he gonna fall in love with her? Psh, no way. >>
Another SasuSaku thread gave me a neutral sticker, but....I'm not sure (again), so keep me on neutral.

I've always loved this pairing. I find it very deep. To me it shows what true love really is. Sakura learned to love Sasuke for who he was and was willing to give up everything for him and Sasuke learned what it feels like to be loved by someone and to be someone importat to another person.
They do have their major ups and downs and is a pairing that has most tears than smiles, but I think that's what makes them have a bond in my opinion at least.

I like this pair because it is pretty deep. I agree with what you said about true love. But one of the biggest reason I like this pair is, the fan art and fictions. SasuSaku makes for a good story and makes beautiful art.
Just like SasuHina. It can be cute more often than serious. Most of the SasuSaku art I have seen was very cute. I think it is because it is hard to draw someone with pink hair with out making it all kawaii sometimes lol.
The fanfictions are great too. They can be sweet or they can be angst. I like the angst ones best. But that is only because I like the drama that comes from SasuSaku. That is the best part of their relationship!

The thing that really brings out my dislike it the fact that Sakura was in love with him. I don't think (I'm almost positive) he never loved her.
I feel kinda mean, but I'm only neutral because I really, REALLY don't think it'll happen.
Sasuke will end up alone, or with Ino. But that's for another thread. XD
