-What a dreary horrible place.

The thought replayed itself over and over again in the god's mind, a very uncharacteristic frown marring his lilac maw. It was just so grey.. and dreary here. Not starkly green or brown like other places.. Flowers didn't decorate the area. The entire place looked.. just as one might imagine.. like a graveyard.

Certainly not his idea of a pleasant place.

But he was on a mission. The Flower had told him of this place.. of the purple lion that lived within. And Lim had become intrigued. So here he was now searching, eyes looking for some bit of pleasant coloring to show itself. His own feathers and colorful body puffed out widely, as if to try and compensate.-

Froth stretched out, letting the budding black claws scrape along the bones. The fur on the back of her neck bristled at th sudden rush of cold at moving from the tightly bundled pile of cubs. Black ears twitched and green eyes opened slowly to the dim greenish light.

Green.

Everything around the royal den always had a green tinge. Of course the geysers had to be closest to one of the only intact skulls that littered the graveyard. Night. day. It didn't matter as she dragged herself to the edge of the den, slippijng down the brittle tusk to land as gracefully as she could on her clumsy purple paws. Everything looked so different when she finally got through the wall of green smoke, giving herself a good shake to relieve her little body of the feeling. At least she was out and not stuckj in the den with her brother and sister.

Maybe it would be a nice little outing after all.

-The place seemed a little dead to say the least, signs of life hard to find between the large and ever encompassing signs of death, and softly Lim began to debate his decision.

It'd been awhile since he'd spoken to the Flower. It was entirely possible the one he sought had already left this place? After all, who would WANT to live here? When not far away you had the long and streching southlands, the lushish and lovely jungle, the vibrant and life filled Pridelands (minus it's stodgey old king that is)...

Nearly jumping at the crackling of a bone snapping beneath his paws, Lim scolded himself silently. He was being just ridiculous. Nothing to be afraid of. He was the god of pleasure, surely HE could find something nice about this place.-

A soft growl accompanied the small cub as she tried to manuver throught the various bone structures and rocks. It wasn't that it was hard for her, it was just frustrating. The small pieces of bones cruching under her paws didn't phase her in the least. It was normal to step on them and her small pads, even in cubhood, had roughened to the conditions. So. tail tuft flicking, she continued on.

White toed paws moved along the ground with prowess as she danced along. it was normal for the Froth to go off by herself to survey the land that she called home. She didn't care if the land was bare, greenish and smelled like death. It was still her home and she loved it like it was.

Through the fog, a flash of purple cauight her eye. Had her father slipped out behind her and decided to track her through her little adventure. "Father?..."

-A sound? His ears swiveled gently to catch it, wondering softly if it were real, or just some figment of his imagination. Instinctually he searched for the pink and yellow familar figure that addressed him in such a similar way.

Eyes catching the silloutte of a young lion cub in the distance, he ruffled himself up once more. It wasn't Limbua of course, but could he honestly answer her question? He'd laid with more females then he could begin to count.. who knew whether or not with any certainity that he WASN'T her father? Drawing a friendly smile to his maw however, he pulled himself forward a few more steps, offering lightly.- "I don't believe so young one."

Froth starred through the fog at all the other bright colors that adorned the other lion. No. This was definately not her father. That smooth voice was nie and sweet to listen to but it wasn't Duhushi's voice. Her tail swished as it came closer making her heart beat even faster. Was it safe? It wasn't a hyena but it was a rogue. Of course, it wasn't a hyena. That was for sure. At least she had a bit of comfort in that.

"Then who are you? Father will not tolerate others here without permission."

She scattered slowly under a bit of bone to keep out of sight. It would be quite a hard venture considering the purple braces on her paws but it was she had gotten rather good at it even with her bright colors.

-His brow quirked with soft amusement, trying hard not to laugh at the soft statement. That meant the little one, (of whom he'd lost now in the fog) not that he'd caught a very good glance of where she was before, was a princess? But alas his childishness won out, and he replied rather smugly.- "A king cannot tell a GOD what to do."

"But worry not, I won't be here for very long." -He lowered his head gently, shaking the ivory ponytail back as it settled against his neck.- "I'm simply looking for someone, and then I'll leave."

A God?. This strange looking thing was actually a God? She'd never seen one before up close. The only time she learnd about them was from her father when her mother was out to calm them down. Stories about magnificent beings tat watched over the inhabitants of the earth from up above. Of course...that's where she thought they stayed.

"You're really a god? Why are you here in the graveyard then?..."

The Graveyard had nothing of intrest to something like him would it? The thought pushed all others out and she dropped from her hiding place, taking shallow steps towards the other. Froth wasn't really afraid but she didn't want to do anything wrong in his presence. When his wonderous pelt finally caught her eye, the cub stopped, standing as tall as she could. Pride was something she had a lot of but it was nothing compared to the wonder in her heart. Her mind raced wwith thousands of questions but none of them were given life consdiering that she could only stare up at him in awe.

"Unless regular lions have began to sprout wings as well.." -He teased, not meanly really, simply because it sounded nicer then a simple yes. And slowly he ruffled his feathers forward like the peacock he was.

Whether he knew it or not, luck was on his side, for even if the lion he sought weren't her father, certainly the royalty would know of a being so special.. as to hold the same color coat as him. And as the little one slowly began to work her way out of the fog, he let his own eyes settle upon her tiny figure, coming to lock on the purple dipped legs.

Unconcious purr beginning to ripple through his throat, he strung the words out like a song, rumbling low and deep.- "A while back I was told of a lion who lived in these lands with a pelt much like mine. I've come to see if it's the truth."

-Stepping foward softly, a gentle motion coated with a pleasant smile, he mused softly.- "You have a bit of it yourself I see. Do you know the lion I'm looking for little Princess? Such a color should be praised, for it's truely the grandest there is."

Froth stodd there, star struck by the form before her. He had wings and wonderful plummage in fact. The colors msmerized her and a smile curled on her maw. She wasn't normally up for talking with rogues and outsiders but he wasn't really considered either of those. At least, the little cub didn't think so. Her tail flicked behind her as she took a sep even closer, admiring pelt so similar to her fathers.

"My father looks like you." She help up her rather small paws to show off the purple braces. "He gave me this pelt and the spots on my shoulders. My father is certainly the one you seek."

She always knew that purple was a fantastic color seeing as she was the only of her litter to display it fully and proudly. It was certainly a gift now that she looked up Lim. "May I ask your name?"

-His smile widened softly as the little one spoke, his task being cut short emensely by luck. Her dad then? He could get her to lead him to the lion then. Though, the fact of cubs might damper his plans just a little. Unless of course the purple lion had more of Lim in him then just his coloring.

Glancing back down to the little one, he let another soft purr rumble from him, no longer in the hurry he was before. More then happy to simply be admired for the time being. It was quite darling in fact. And so was she. He could only imagine how lovely those purple accents would look once they streched upon long and elegant lioness legs, instead of the cubby ones they so cutely adorned.

Tail swaying gently, he nodded to her request.- "Limbuko, god of pleasure. And you Ada?"

((She actually gets an african petname. whee Only her and Mama have non english ones so far. Means "gift", though I don't know that she'd know that XD))

The small cub cocked her head at his words.

Ada?...

Froth starred at her paws for a moment before looking back up at the strange creature before her almost contemplating her answer. "My name is...Froth, princess of the graveyard pride." She bowed her head respectfully knowing that her father would most likely punish her for being rude and unhomely to such a being. Her white toes dug into the grey film under them, staining the light pads a hellish dusky color but she didn't truely care to keep herself spotless at the moment.

Green eyes starred at the feathers that framed his back. Froth had always been fascinated with birds and the thought of being airbourne had always seemed like a silly dream but here Limbuko was in all his feathery glory. The girl tried to think of something. Anything to keep herself from starring.

"If you are truely a god of pleasure...is it your duty to make others happy as well?"

((Awww xDD))

-An easy name to recall, simple, short and sweet. He nodded softly as he filed it away in his mind, he was pretty good with names, better however with nicknames, as she would like find out.

Watching her with soft interest, ever more comfortable by the placid and pleasant aire being directed at him, he nodded more once her question touched arose.- "Ahhh, of course. That's pretty much my main responsiblity to the world. To try and make everyone as happy as possible."

-It seemed a fair enough trade, a bit of joy to be led to her father, so he inquired with a mischevious smile.- "Is there something I can do for you that would make your smile strech further little one?"

-Lim spent the better portion of the day delighting in the child's attention, trying hard to please her as she'd insisted. The whole dank graveyard in fact seemed to brighten while she was around, but perhaps it was just his imagination and his mood that caused that.

He'd taken the cub into the air, not too high, just a simple little circling and exploration of her homeland from the sky. And when finally he landed, he oblidged her in one more gift, letting her pick one of the purple feathers from his wings, complimenting her on how nicely it looks with her pelt.

By the time they parted ways Lim no longer attempted to try and find her father, having heard enough stories to conclude it unlikely that he could sway the purple lion into a little male lovin'. But it was alright, he'd gotten himself a fun day out of it and... maybe one day when she'd grown to a lovely adult, he'd get to show his beautiful Ada a whole different kind of pleasure...-
