About how many posts and days does it take to elove the Second Yous on the Surpise Stage?

Ahaha...from suprise to child? Well.. I dont like it, when I make them grow too fast. I usally let them be in the suprise stage for a few weeks and then see, if I should make them grow or not. Since some people loose intrest very fast.

Hey... I posted some of this in the suggestions thread, but then i thought that this might be a more appropriate place. ;3
Anyway, what I originally came here to ask for was some sort of definite set-up to the profiles. Like... If you look at Makette's angel feathers, then you'll see what I'm talking about. She tells you exactly what to put in your journals and the like. Anyway, I was just gonna roleplay with meh self... Like you do in Angel feathers, for the most part anyway, besides those encounters. So, like, Makette has a bunch of requirements for growing, or what you should RP to get growth. Anyway, mine's a one-stager, so that doesn't really apply to me, but I still want to roleplay out (even if it is just in history) what the other stages were like, how I got her, &c. Anyway, I'm just a bit confused on the whole posting/rping thingie. Anyway, thanks for your help!

uhm..we arent strict with the Rp. and we let the owners decide what they want to do with the profiles. many dont do anything with 'em to begin with.
about RP, as long as it is done (in case of a growing second you) everything is ok and the second you will grow when the thread/guild monitor or artists find that it's time(it also depends on whether the artist have time to draw too ^^; )
one-stagers, in my opinion, can be rp-d in any way. you may fantasize about the previous stages and so forth.
you can make up a history
do anything you want

Anyways though, my question is kinda simple, though it may sound a little complicated -^v^-;;;
I just read through what a good journal entry is and it said that copy and pasted ones aren't good, I'm wondering if I can do the same journal entry for two of my seconds because I'd like to have stated that I spent New Years with both of them, however perhaps make it longer(maybe 2-3 pages at size 12 font in Microsoft Word, single spaced, Arial) so that it can count as a journal entry for the two of them. Would that be allowed?

Well it would still only count as one journal entry for only one of the Seconds depending on who is waiting the longest to grow.
Though I understand your problem, the trick is to do the same event from a different point of view. The problem with copy and paste ones (especially when it is in first person) is that it is the exact same observations, which no one has.
For example, maybe one Second is more focused on a particular aspect of when they spent New Years with you, or maybe one likes it more than the other. Maybe one has a different favourite thing about it... if you did one in first person and another in third, that would do just as well.

I see, ooh, also, if it wasn't too much to ask, I was wondering if you could stop by my profile as I have the RP's and one journal entry, that I'd like to count towards Natsuki since it's in 3rd person and I think it'd take a while to change to first person XD;;;;;
but, getting back on topic, I have stuff that I've done and I was wondering what more I could do to make them grow for each Natsuki and Shizuru since I'm not sure if my previous RP's even count XD;;;;
Anyways, thankies for the help, the info. was very helpful as I'll be sure to take up one of those suggestions next time, thankies<3 -^v^-

There's a list of prompts/suggestions in the same thread where you were reading about what made a good journal and what doesn't.
Also, don't be afraid to ask if anyone is free for role play in the shop thread.
At the moment as well the magic school is open, which also counts role play wise. At surprise stage each them can learn one spell at the moment, and learning process in each step would take up three catches at role play/journal.

Okies, I just felt kinda worried about when they'd be able to grow as well since they're pretty old and I remember asking a long while back if they'd grow and all I got was keep roleplaying, at that time, there wasn't any set requirements so I felt a little frustrated, I think that was why I stopped roleplaying, since it didn't seem like I was going anywhere especially when I saw other Seconds that were bought after mine growing into the Child stage -^v^-;;;;
I don't really know what to consider the RP's that I did before though... would they not count at all since they're not that good? I was really really junk at RPing back then and I think during that it was actually when I first started RPing actually XD;;;;;
Wells, my question is basically if what progress I thought I had gained around a year ago, if it was a waste and it didn't really gain anything towards their growing? -^v^-;;;;
I'd ask around in the shop to RP, but since I'm busy running a shop and working as a colorist in another, as well as dealing with IRL when I have bad time management skills as it is, I don't have much time to do one on one RP's with people since I'd always either take too long responding or I'd just prolly up and leave them-not on purpose but since I'd have other things to do, so I stick to the guild since at least it can still be an RP but I don't have to worry about really ignoring the other person or seeming rude because I barely have any time to RP on my hands -^v^-;;;;;
I like the idea of magic as well, though, the type of Seconds that I've made Natsuki and Shizuru may make it seem wierd if they had magic, since I'm so used to thinking of them as miniature babies -^v^-;;;

Lol that's actually really understandable, since one of the reasons why Elnara and I made the requirements was because it was very wishy washy. We were fine because we role played excessively, but it's not fine when you are busy and you can't be there role playing every day or week or whatever. The major problem was, it was whom Tea and Tiia saw role play often (which was kind of up in the air).
*coughs* Anyhow... because both role plays are unfinished unfortunately they don't count though no fault of your own, and back then we didn't have anything to help role players who had their partners disappear on them (aka if they don't response after you asked them after a very long time you can end the role play yourself).
So I guess with time issues journals would be the best bet. My best suggestion is to think of a story for them, how you want them to grow up, and then write journals probably shorts would be easiest directing them into that way you want them to grow.
Lol you can wait on that if you want, I think.. it's not a lot of journal entries towards the next stage, and it gives me time to talk to Tea, because she still is the one who grows the Seconds. So if you find journals easier, then you can do that on your own time.
If you need help tell me a bit about them and I might be able to come up with a prompt for you if you like. (I did that with Were-ah but because I know her character very well).
