I just read this chapter, and boy is it fluffy and cute. Ironically it starts out like 90% of lemons and hentai doujinshi, the whole premise of Kagome coming back home and no body's there, so she and Inuyasha get to have fun if you catch my drift. rofl I actually giggled because, it's so familiar and cliche yet it had to be done. So where was I, Kagome does stuff and as usual falls asleep studying. Inuyasha comes in wraps her in a blanket, and gives her the bow. By now I start sqeeing because it's so cute. They talk and semi-confess their feelings for each other, I was really sqeeing now. They almost kiss, but alas they get interupted by her family.

I was floored by the amount of fluff this chapter has, I almost got cavities because it's so sweet and cute. The fact that it does start like a hentai doujinshi did concern me, but it made their semi-confession cuter and it seems to emphasize their innocence. There was a lot hand holding and cuddling which made my inner fangirl sqee with joy, although I think she's spoiled because of that last arc with Miroku and Sango. The fact that they nearly kissed, seems to show that romance is present yet not their number one priority, it seems to promise us the readers that there will be more later, like when they finally defeat Naraku. This chapter also touches on the fact that Kagome will one day have to choose the world she will live in, adding the slightest hint angst .

It's been ages since we had a chapter that takes place in Kagomes time and Inuyasha and Kagome fluff. I'm must admit I support Miroku and Sango more than I do Inuyasha and Kagome, mainly because I lost interest in them they got repetitive and boring, and Miroku and Sango had the spotlight since 448, but this chapter sparked my interest in them again.

I know poor girl in the past her duty is to restore the jewel then she probably has to protect it from harm she also has friends there who would miss her, but she was raised in the future and her family is there and she has school. Which makes her have to decide between her duty and destiny and what is easier and normal for a girl her age.

I forgot to mention in the first post that Inuyasha wanted Kagome to stay in her time until the defeat of Naraku, but Kagome insists on staying by his side, and he vows to protect her with his life.

This chapter seems to echo several of the themes of the manga. Starting with duty versus what is easy, and "I'll protect you with my life" and "I'll stay by your side." Which are some of the most prominent ones.

Don't mind me, I could go on about the manga for hours.

I'm a guy, and all of a sudden, during one part of this one thing, and I rarely do things like this, but something in me made me shout...
"SQUUEEEE!"
I'm laughing at myself now. I can't wait till the next chapter. I mean, everyone has been DREAMING about this kinda stuff. In the rps, especialy in the one I'm in, stuff is just happebning like that, but not exactly.

Something makes me think that 'Under pressure' by The used and My Chemical Romance could easily fit into one of these episodes. UI wish I could give you guys a link, but no can do right now. Gotta go!
