Welcome to the small residence of one of the many workers at the facility. Jahn may not keep the place as clean as it could be, but there's certainly no harm in stopping by for just a bit. Just beware of the little ones underfoot.

The laboratory that belongs to Jahn and his research is, naturally, located in the main facility. It is, for all intents and purposes, eternally in disarray. Yet it is the sort of homely lack of order that brings about a sense of peace for the 'residents'. Janh's home outside of the facilities may as well not be there for all the use that it gets. There's a microfridge and attached microwave beside one of the side counters, apart from all the actual research components and computational equipment. The small area serves its purpose as a kitchen for all the leftover Chinese food and nuke-able dinners it provides. There were a series of piled up blanket-beds along another wall, serving as napping and sleeping areas for everyone from Jahn to the dusts. And of course the rest of the counters were strewn with unevenly distributed papers and clipboards, files and manilla folders, pens and cups, napkins and crumbs from snacks.
About Jahn
Name: Jahn (pronounced 'John') Nien
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Lab History: Jahn was formerly a workaholic, to the extent that he was obsessed. He'd frankly neglect his own health at times when he got interested in getting something done. When his work turned into studying Gyousei and not analyzing inorganic samples and writing research papers, Jahn's attitude slowly changed. Gyousei demanded his attention at times, and in more ways than simply for research purposes. When the young dust was an adult, he took to taking care of the human; he made sure that Jahn was eating and picking up after himself. Finally, Jahn's attention for his work became a little less consuming and he began to spend more time wiht Gyousei. His work is still incredibly important to him, yes, but not to the point of neglecting his health.

 Name: Gyousei
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Personality: Gyousei was at first rather shy around other dusts, though he strangely had no fear of humans. His shyness has dissipated, to be dominated by his continual want of silence from his own kind. He enjoys his time alone, or his time with Jahn, and prefers to try and get away from other creatures that can understand his speech. Gyousei does not like young children of either species, finding them too loud and too obnoxious for his own tastes. When they're around, Gyousei tends to try and make himself scarce. All of these traits can sometimes make him seem cold and stand-offish, when in reality he is actually very caring - it just takes some effort for it to come through. His better traits are most obvious around the human, Jahn, perhaps a testament to their bond. Gyousei often takes care of and looks after the human as if he were a small dust himself. Odd behavior, perhaps, though it was Jahn alone that he grew up around for many years.
Friendships: Unfortunately, because of the time he spends around Jahn, Gyousei has not had the opportunity to form any strong friendships with any other dusts. Indeed, the male hasn't had more than one or two conversations with dusts that aren't living with him - and none to any good extent.
Love Interest: Gyousei really hasn't been around enough females to have any real interest in anyone. With his odd presonality, the chances of anything off-handedly happening are very limited. If he did fall for someone, it would most likely be hard and devoted.

 Name: Kyne
Gender: Male
Age: Child
History: It was Kyne's appearance that turned Gyousei's existance in the labs upside down. The little one was a complete surprise for both the dust and Jahn, and quickly turned into a lot of trouble to boot.
Personality: Kyne is in everything and anything possible and imaginable. He's loud, rambunctious and under everyone's feet (or claws). Simply put, the little boy wants attention and he wants it now. There can be little doubt that his personality and outgoing in-your-face attitude is what has made Gyousei like his silence and his time alone. He also tends to be selfish and gets jealous fairly easily. Despite all of this, Kyne doesn't really mean to be obnoxious and to break things (or at least we'd like to think). From his interactions with Gyousei and Nye, he seems to be shovy around other dusts. He does behave himself better as long as Jahn is around and watching. Perhaps he's just competing with his 'brothers' for the human's attention.
Friendships: Although Gyousei and Kyne undoubtedly do not get along with one another, Kyne and Nye were two trouble-makers together until the other dust grew up a bit. Kyne and Nye undoubtedly have some sort of understanding between them, but the extent of that understanding is questionable. At times, they get along wonderfully and are great friends, yet they can also fight like there's no tomorrow. Dusts outside of the family haven't been seen since Kyne was very little.

 Name: Nye
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
History
Nye made everyone incredibly happy at first because he provided a playmate for Kyne. But as Nye grew older, it seemed that all of Kyne's bad habits had rubbed off. Worse yet was the fact that he didn't want to be with his 'brother' all the time any more, making Jahn and Gyousei prime targets for his pranks.
Personality
Even as a child, Nye enjoyed making and finding trouble. He absorbed all of Kyne's bad habits, and then was able to make them worse because he learned them faster than his 'brother' did. As he's grown older, his tricks have only become more 'mature'. No longer limited to simply spilling milk and tripping up his extended family, Nye's not above full-out body tackles when one isn't looking, eating everything out of the fridge, rearranging furniture while you're sleeping in it, and play-biting. If these are the ways he expresses his love, one would surely wonder what he'd do someone he truly didn't like.
Friendships
Nye's relationship is strained with his extended family at times, though he usually manages to dance back onto their good side in some way before it gets too bad. Perhaps its the length of time it takes for him to 'apologize' that keeps other Dusts away from him.

 Name: Zindawe
Gender: Female
Age: Emerging
History
Zindawe's arrival was embraced by Jahn and Gyousei, the human seeing her like his little girl while Gyousei looks over her like a younger sister. While not outwardly disgusted by her as Kyne is, Nye does not like the appearance of another Dust in the family. Nye and Kyne, both in their own way, see her as a threat.
