Shimah had been at the ocean for a while now and she loved every moment of it. She was wandering through the sands, hoping to see more lions. She was still rusty on catching fish, and wanting to perfect that. She was standing ankle deep in the ocean, letting the waves roll past her as the salty breeze was refreshing. Her eyes closed as she took in the gulls cawing not too far from her.

It had been many days worth of traveling before the strange scent of salt filled her senses. Lime green eyes grew wide as the ground was starting to change color from green to gold. The texture of the ground changed as well, starting out firm until getting softer and softer to where the gold pieces were sieving through her paws. Sevati's ears flicked forward as a strange crashing sound was continuously sounding. Eager and curious to take a good look at the new surroundings. Coming over a hill, a huge, blue vast of water laid out before her. Excited at the prospect of playing in the water, there was so much of it...so much more of it than her previous home!
Lime green orbs glanced back at Ravi, he had been her traveling companion for the days leading up to this new place. "Look, I've never seen so much water, Ravi!"
The time spent with Sevati had brought the two closer together and was helping Ravi understand his newfound feelings for her. His gold eyes were always keeping a watchful eye on her, not wanting anything bad to happen to his white angel. A smile made it's way along her facial features as he thought about this new place they were heading to. His limping had improved slightly, though his shoulder still pained him every now and then when he worked it too long or too hard. His eye on the other hand, was slowly healing, not as fast as his should. He could see out of it clearly, though there were times where he'd lose vision for short amounts of time.
At Sevati's enthusiam, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Sevi..." His breath was caught in his throat as he stopped. Sand. The gold color of the sand brought back mocking memories of his time with the firekin. Having a hard time breathing, all pleasantness left him as a cold dread washed over him. Had they somehow reached the desert? The male was starting to fret and worry before he began to notice the strange scent. The desert didn't smell this sharp, not that he ever remembered. And it wasn't until Sevati's statement about the water helped to ebb the worry away. This, was not the desert...this was the ocean! He made his way to her side and stopped to stare out at the vast ocean. It was nothing like he's ever seen before. "Wow..." It left him speechless.

Shimah has been in the water for not a long time when she heard sounds. She was curious and turned her gaze over the beach. There had to be others out here, she told herself silently. Her eyes widen as if her words had been answered! There were two lions coming her way! She got out of the water and walked towards both of them with a smile, "Hi!"

Lime green eyes picked up on Ravi's nervousness with a hint of worry. Sevati was stunned at his initial reaction to this place, she wasn't expecting him to act in this manner. Slightly dishearten by his reaction, her head was lowered slightly and turned to gaze out at the beach. Why didn't he share her enthusiasm about this place? It made some unknown feelings start to well up inside of her before they were pushed back by his presence next to her. He always had a way of calming her down, somehow. A smile slowly drew on her maw before her ears perked up. Someone else had called out to them! Had they finally found the pride they were looking for? After all, she had lost her father and sister on the way over here. Returning the call, "Hello!!" Though, her eyes were starting to get wide as the green lioness came towards them...she was so green!
Golden eyes had noticed the hurt that flashed through Sevi's eyes and so he had taken the initiative to give her a gentle nuzzle. Hushly, "Sevi, this place is beautiful." His ears perked up as well, catching on to the other source of sound. He slowly stood up fully and was suddenly feeling rather protective over Sevi. The male didn't want anything to happen to her, not when they had just found a place they might actually be able to settle in. But before he could caution Sevi to keep alert, she was already answering the other lion. Though, his suspicions were slowly fading away as the lioness came into view. She was far from being red and fierce, in fact, she was green! His golden eyes took her in, finding nothing hostile in her body language. Mutely, he nodded his head in acknowledgement, letting Sevi get the first say with this new lioness.

Shimah looked at the two newcomers curiously. She noticed there was a male and a female, just like when she met Juke and Muujiza. She was slightly curious as to why she was seeing pairs all of a sudden, though she didn't think too much of it when she got closer. She tilted her head, "Are you new here?"

Resting her shoulder against his own reassuringly, Sevi walked closer to the green lioness. She was curious about the other and to know if she had found the ocean pride that her father had told her so much about! Her lime green eyes were bright with warmth as she nodded her head, "Yes we are, we just got her not too long ago." She flicked her tail, making sure that Ravi was near her, she didn't want him wandering off. "I am Sevati and this is Ravi, is this the Ocean Pride?" She wanted to make sure they had come to the right place.
Her touch made a chill go down his back as Ravi couldn't help but have a pleasant smile on his face. How could a mere touch feel so good and right? He didn't know the answer to it, but didn't dwell on the matter as Sevi conversed with the new lioness. At his name, he gave a small greeting, "Hello." He was still cautious, especially being around new lions he knew nothing about. But the sound of the ocean beating against the shore, the gulls crying in the sky and the sweet breeze took his breath away and helped him to relax.

Shimah was happy to have ran into some new lions, and they were friendly! With their names, she returned her own, "I am Shimah. It is a pleasure to meet the two of you, Ravi, Sevati!" She couldn't help but laugh softly at the male, he was all too funny in her view. Trying to act cool when he really was friendly in the first place. She didn't let it get to her, "Why yes, this is the ocean pride, or as it is known Bahari'mtoto."

Relief washed over Sevati as she visibly relaxed. The ocean! So this was the largest body of water her father was telling her about. Her lime green eyes were wide with awe as the water crashed against the shore. Curious, she looked towards Shimah. "The ocean pride! Yes! I am so happy to find this place...my father was moving our family over here when Ravi and I got separated from him," She paused before questioning Shimah, "Have you seen a large, red lion with a black and white mane? He's supposed to be here with my sister, but I have not seen either of them."
Silently, golden eyes couldn't help but twinkle at the excitment that was evident in Sevati's voice. Ravi's tail flicked from side to side as he couldn't help but chuckle. He nudged Sevi's neck gently and mewed, "This is good, he has to be here somewhere." Golden eyes glanced back towards Shimah as he gave her a smile, "It's a relief to hear that from you. We have been searching for this place for some time but with no success. At least our long journey has ended."

Shimah was surprised, "Oh really? I've never heard about an ocean until I accidently stumbled here." She laughed at herself, it was a silly mistake but something she liked. She shook her head at Sevati's question, "Oh no, I'm sorry...I can't say I've seen a red lion with a black and white man. I haven't seen too many lions yet."
