Welcome to the library!
Here you can study or hang out, as long as you don't make too much noise xD
If you have an assigment, you can come work on it here if you want.
We have plenty of books you can use, as well as computers and a big, round table where you can sit and work on group assigments.
There are six single tables and five desks with computers to work alone and the round table enables four people to work together there.
Titiana works here, she is head librarian and you can ask her for help. She will also make sure you guys don't make too much noise!
Also, you must whisper while you're in the library (unless there are no classes).

Titania is currently behind the front desk of the library, tagging some new books that she ordered that have finally arrived. It is taking a long time for her to do it because every time she starts with a new book she starts to flip through the pages, reading the starts of each chapter. She has a piece of paper and a tiny pencil by her side and she writes down the names of the books she wants to take more time to look at.

Aphrodite enters the library. She's breathing fast, like she had to swim a long way very fast.
She quickly goes to sit in a corner, trying to stop the tears that are coming up. Then she notices she's not alone. There's a woman in her too. She's behind the front desk. After taking a deep breath Aphrodite slowly swims towards her. It's Titiana, the head librarian and someone that generally seems very nice and understanding. Aphrodite doubts for a second and then starts talking.
''Hello.'' she says with a soft voice. ''Well, I don't really know what to say. You must think I'm pretty weird. But I need someone to talk to. Can I talk to you?''
The woman doesn't reply, but smiles to her.
Aphrodite starts talking: ''I was in Lunera this afternoon when a guy came up to me. He told me his name was Orion and I thought he was very handsome. We started talking but I messed up and came across like a desperate girl that tries to marry every guy she sees. I feel so bad, I really liked him. Please, do you have any advice for me? I could really need some help'' she says and then remains silent. She looks at Titiana, her eyes looking sad and reflecting her cry for help. She's about to cry, but she has to stay strong. She won't cry. Not here, not now...
Too late. A tear drops down and another one follows. Silently she cries, why she's still looking Titiana in the eye.

Titania smiles at the other mermaid, and offers her a chair to sit on while she catches her breath and calms down. "Of course you can talk to me," she says softly, flittering her fae wings gently. "I'm here to help, even if it isn't about books," she grins and takes a seat herself. "Not that I'm much use in the handsome merman field, but maybe I can help you out. It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong," she adds. "In fact, I'm sure he doesn't think you're desperate. What did you say to him that you think will make him think that?" she asks. "Maybe you should just try to talk to him a bit and see if he likes you too."
She thinks for a moment, waiting for the other mermaid to calm down. "I've seen you around the school before," she says, "You work here too, right?"

Aphrodite looks at Titiana. She is so nice!
And would she be right? Didn't she do anything wrong after all and would Orion really like her too? She did believe she heard him shouting ''Wait!'' but she's not sure about that. It could've just been hope too that made her imagine it. Then she notices the woman is still staring at her and she remembers Titiana asked her a question. She quickly replies ''Yes, I do. I'm the hallkeeper and I try to keep the students in line. But there aren't much classes or students right now, so it's not much work.
But... do you really think Orion likes me? I asked him to join me and visit you, 'cause the two of you remind me of one another and Orion doesn't know his real family, he's adopted. But then I thought, I barely know him and I'm already asking him to go with me to my job and meet you and my roommate, Fleur. It's like you ask a guy to meet your parents after you've known him for a day or two. I screwed up!'' Aphrodite ends her story, in panic again. Why is this bothering her so much? She barely knows the guy, after all. Why can't she just let me go? Confused she sits there and waits for the woman's reply, hoping she has something to say that can calm her down again.

Titania smiles and lets her wings rest. She shrugs. "Well, you never know, men are so fickle!" She grins. "But honestly it doesn't sound to me that you did anything that should have scared him away. Friends and roommates aren't the same as meeting a girl's parents, belive me. He probably just thinks you're really friendly!" she smiles. "And that's a good thing, not a bad one." She pauses when Aphrodite mentions that this mer reminds her of her. She frowns. "I don't know if I have any family out there but it would be interesting to find out. Is he a fae?" she asks, flittering her wings briefly. "You can always just tell him that I'm really interested in finding out if we're family. Then it'll take the emphasis off of you being so interested if you want and then you'll have something to talk to him about. An excuse as it were."

That's not a bad idea. Would she dare to do that?
She didn't know, but she had to otherwise she'd probably never see or speak to Orion again.
''Maybe you're right'' she said. ''Maybe I should go find him. But he's not a fae, you know. Your faces do look alike. And you have the same smile.
Anyway, you're right. I should go find him. In fact, why won't I go and do that right away. I've to go! Bye!'' Just as quickly as she came, Aphrodite disappears, swimming back to Lunera in the hope to find Orion there.

Titania smiles, happy that she was able to help Aphrodite even in a very small way. She nods as the other mer leaves and goes back to her business in the library.

Aphrodite has decided to head back into the school and visit Titiana again.
This time, Orion is with her.
''Hello, Titiana!'' Aphrodite greets her.
''This is Orion.'' she says, looking back at Orion.
''And Orion.. this is Titiana.'' she says, turning again.
''I told the two of you about each other, because you remind me of one another and I felt like introducing you!''

Titania is busy shelving books at the end of the schoolday when Aphrodite and Orion show up. She places the book she is holding on the shelf and swims over to greet them. "Hello," she smiles, waving to Aphrodite. "Glad you made it back, I'm just about done here." She turns her attention to Orion. "Hello," she says. "It's nice to meet you. Aphrodite told me a little about you this afternoon." Wow, he is quite handsome, she thinks. Too bad Aphrodite already has a claim on him!
Orion nods to Titania. "Nice to meet you, too," he says, looking around the library. "So you work here at the school?"
Titiana nods. "I'm the librarian."
