Well, I see nobody has started a thread for this yet, so I'll go ahead and do it ;P
What does everybody think of the February items? My favorite is the celestial wrap. It's just so pretty heart
The celebrity date thing is certainly an interesting "item". I don't think I'll ever use it, but I applaud the admins on their creativity.
As for the dark star...stupidest looking thing evar. I hate it xp I guess it will be good for people who like to be ninjas, but I see nothing about it that I like. Oh well, can't all be winners.
Opinions?

Hrm, the scarf is lovely. I am always for new blue items. Plus this design is not as annoying as most of our available capes. I dislike the fact that most of them cover unnecessary amounts of face-space. Or looked plain stiff and un-flowy.
I agree on the ninja-stars. It's very 'meh.' The Celeb Date is extremely amusing. :>

Celebtrity Date: Whatever it is called...item, background, whatsoever...it's a very good idea and it's very creative. Unfortunately, I doubt that I'll ever use it. xD The styles of the celebs don't match my sense of style on Gaia, so they've no place next to my character.
Celestial Wrap: Even though all options look interesting, I actually can only use the scarf version. I'm not that much of a fan of sparkles and twinkles. The manteau version looks good and may go well on wizard styles. Everything else looks also good, but as said is too shiny for my taste.
Dark Star: This item is exactly like the Ancient Katana. Not very spectacular, but has the potential to become very popular. It seems like many gaians are fans of the samurai, ninja and so on style...including me. I love such stuff! <3
Well, but I don't think it was necessary to bring this shuriken, and also the katana, as monthly collectables. They would also do well as store or maybe quest items...They look just too simple and don't really fit in the extraordinary way MC's normally look.

insert a dumb post here.
the celebtrity date item is i think one of the dumbest ones, but i guess the avies wont look so lonely now, the comic scarf is rather kick a**, and the dark star ive got somethin in mind that would make people think of other uses..hopefully.
this has been a dumb post.

Celestial Scarf: I just LOVE the color. The scarf version is my favorite.
Dark Star: When I first saw it, I though "Oh no! Yet another item for the battle system". Personally, I'm getting tired of weapons, but I have to admit that a lot of gaians are huge fans of them.
