It's Chinese New Years today, and what's a better way to celebrte than going to the festival in town? Bright lanterns are strung and hung over every street, performers roam and various stalls line the roads.
The Festival!

"Jackson...!"
".......zzzzzzzz........"
"JACCCCCCCCKSOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!"
The white siberian tiger jokoa was jarred from the pleasant dream by his brother's screech. He opens one of his ice blue eyes and stares at the orange bengal tiger in disapproval. "What do you want this time?" He says in barely strained voice, hating being woken up this way. He gets up on his paws and stretches his body out fully then he just promptly lays down, looking up at Benjamin.
Benjamin was very excited about the rumor that was spreading through the forest about the festival to celebrate the chinese new year. He paws and nudges his slightly older brother in annoying manner while calling his name and increase the volume with every time he called. "There is a festival nearby, Do you want to head over and see whats up?" He grins lightly at his brother when the white tiger stood up to stretch then laid right back down.
Jackson arches one of his eyebrows at his brother before he stands up once again with a shrug. "Sure.. why not? but no tricks from you, Benjamin.. I mean it. I don't want to have to talk you out of the trouble with other jokoas." He shot Benjamin a stern look before he pricks his ears forward, hearing the music. "Hnnn... over there I think..."
Benjamin grins more widely as he nudges Jackson. "No, Jackson.. its right over there.. I have been watching jokoas walking in that direction and the music is OVER there.." He says in amused voice before he starts to trot toward the festival with Jackson trailing closely behind him. He stays near the shadows so he could quickly disappear if he ever felt like being left alone or not being noticed while watching the going-on.
Jackson shakes his head as he glances at his brother whom is hugging the shadowy edge, he is more bold than Benjamin so he chose to stay out in the line of vision of every jokoa. He pads toward the gathering crowd, wondering whats going on. He turns to a red jokoa female. "Ma'am... could you tell me and my brother what is this.. festival and what is going on?" He inquires April politely

April trudged drowsily down the road, eyes closing into slits. Up ahead was the new year's festival, marked by endless lines of booths, games and attractions like the ferris wheel, strings of lanterns all over, bright lights, rainbow-colored, blinking, flashing, dancing lights... "Ughhh...so bright..." she groaned, dropping her head down and squinting her eyes.
A laugh came from her companion, a white ulaya. "You complain about everything," he teased. Casey dragged her down the dirt road, leaving a cloud of dust behind.
A thought moved sluggishly through her mind as she recalled what had happened earlier in the morning. Stupid Casey woke me up...and I woke up and went back to sleep...and he woke me up again...and then I kicked him and fell asleep...and...who cares if he has to drag me, if I don't have to walk anywhere?, she thought, still half-asleep.
"Hey, I'm not going to carry you the whole way," he told her, dropping her in the middle of the road. Then again, she'll never get back up if I don't..., he thought. "Um." Casey prodded her. "Hey..." Again. "...they might have COTTON CANDY in there..." he hinted, rather unsubtly.
April opened one eye. She stared at him. "...really?"
"Yyyyup."
She blinked, and got up, shaking the dust from her fur. "Okay, let's go!" April grinned. It was then that a silver ulaya approached, asking her...something she couldn't make out, too focused on her imagined picture of fluffy cotton candy. "Uhhhh..." She turned with widened eyes, not knowing what he had said. Stupid.
"Don't mind her," Casey interruped, rolling his eyes at his companion. "Anyways..." he continued with a sidelong glance at April, "It's the new year's festival. I think they have rides in there, probably some other games, and--"
"FOOD." You could almost see sparkles glittering in her eyes. "They have food!" she repeated for good measure.
"I think," Casey finished.

Jackson looks at April and Casey in sheer amusement as he shakes his head, he nods to Benjamin and they both follows the quite odd couple toward the food booth. Jackson sticks his muzzle up in the air and proceeds in sniffing out the meat. "Aha.. right there.." He nods to the meat booth and he smiles coyly. He is not the one to go up to someone and ask if they could have meat.
Benjamin eyes April and Casey with open curiousity but he was smart enough to remain silent. He raises his eyebrow in mild annoyance at Jackson before he slips off into the shadows, heading directly toward the meat booth intending on grabbing some food from there for them both.
