Tokyo POP kicks 8 diffent kinds of a**, one of the grates, but BOO HISS at VIS. Exsample, Bleach. The fan transaltion, fantastic, but the VIS vertion blows goats. Its like they're talking down to you. They also have an annoying habbit of translating names.
But thats just me.

Tokyopop. The translations are less annoying than that of VIZ and Shonen Jump (Shonen Jump is translated by VIZ).
However, I enjoy Dark Horse too.

gonk I was the only one who voted Broccoli!
I like Broccoli best, 'cause it sells alot of manga series that interest me, like Aquarian Age, Di Gi Charat, and a few others that I can't name.
Plus, GAMERS supports Broccoli, and GAMERS has Di Gi Charat and Guardian Gamers Fairies. ^^

I guess I have to say Broccoli. I love the quality of their books. They have a heavy cover that never bends no matter how much you read it and the pages are good quality.
Also the sound effects. They have the sound effects in Japanese but they also have it in English too beside it. So I don't have to flip to the Glossary in the back. And sometimes the picture is altered a little when the sound effects are translated to English (for example Viz's Shonen Jump manga.)
I also like TokyoPop, they have so many titles and their books are pretty good.
Del Ray I like also...they keep the Japanese sound affects and put in English as well.

The companies don't actually translate, freelances do that. For that reason, it depends on the title for me.

I would say Pika Edition cuz I mostly buy French version and Pika Edition is almost the only one. Otherwise Tokyopop has a wide selection of unknown stock. Dark Horse is nice too.

Viz publishes the greatest ammount of titles that I like so I think they are the best.
TokyoPop is great because it publishes Rave though and DarkHorse for publishing Trigun.
