The horse boy was stuck to the window starring through the glass at the contents within the store, sugar... no not just sugar there was candy in there! A ton of candy! He had to have it! He shifted back and forth his feet making a clickclickclick sound as he did so, the sound of his hooves against the cement ground in front of the place. He looked back and forth a moment his long tail swishing before he flicked his ears. He wondered where his parents went. Oh well he was sure that they would catch up. He never once considered that it was he himself that was lost, how could he be lost after all when he knew exactly where he was!
He moved over to the door and pushed against it, opening it up and slipped inside so that he could look around at the loots that could be had. He knew that he had to have money to get the stuff, he had moneys in his pocket. He walked over to the counter to look at the woman that was on the other side. He tilted his head to the side, "Excuse me! How much candies can I get for this money?" He asked laying the bill on the counter in front of him.
The woman tilted her head to the side after looking at it, "Quite a bit you have ten dollars there." She said, giving a him a grin.
"Yay!" He whinnied happily then went clip clopping off to pick out what it was that he wanted, money left behind with the woman. She looked down at it then moved it away saftely and followed after him, curiously. Was the boy here alone? She couldn't exactly gauge his age he was rather large but he had a younger attitude so she found herself looking outside through the window to see if the boy's parents were about. Nobody out there that looked horselike... hrm...

Fleur had his snout pressed against the glass as well, his broad tail swaying up and down slowly in thought as he patiently awaited Chrysler who was on a cell phone with Stevie. He had no idea what they were talking about but knew he was not to leave Chrysler's side until she was finished. It was still rather odd obeying the barely-four-feet-tall fox android like he would an adult, especially since Fleur himself had already outgrown her by two inches, but he was a very obedient boy, always willing to please.
"Alright," Chrysler said, and Fleur's ears tilted back to listen though his eyes never left the rows upon rows of candy inside the store. "The freak said you can get some candy since you've been so well-behaved - one whole bag." Fleur's blue eyes brightened, and he resisted the urge to squeak happily. He knew how big those bags were and imagined how full he could get one. Chrysler just rolled her eyes and batted at his tail as it threatened to land on her head on another downward sway. "Just don't get anything messy," she cautioned. "Your fur is a b***h to clean sugar goo out of."
"Okay!" Fleur happily agreed - he preferred gummies anyway, and those were the least messy candy of all. He happily bounced into the store, Chrysler following more slowly and remaining by the door to wait for him to finish.

Valens was clip-clopping his way up and down the aisles, looking for the perfect candy that just called his name and begged: Take me home with you. It took him a while but there it was, sitting in a bin in a large amounts. Apple shaped candies! He never thought that two of his favorite things apples and candy could become one but he had been proven wrong now hadn't he? He clicked forward to get a plastic bag down and started to scoop the apples into the bag, when he had a good amount he tied the back up and turned as he heard the sound of the opening door.
He expected to see his parents standing there, having followed him to where he was as he had no doubt in his mind they would know exactly where he was but instead he found another kid standing there. He flicked his ears back and forth a moment and the candy's appeal started to wane as the interested of his quickly moving mind moved over to this new comer. He seemed more interesting then candy since Valens already had the bag of it that he wanted, "Hello!" He whinned excitedly to Fleur after moving closer to him.

Fleur squeaked and blinked several times at Valens, caught completely off guard. He had not seen him in the store earlier through the window and thought it was empty. Now, the candy was less important than hugging himself with his tail and wishing he had not been noticed.
"U-Um...h-hello," Fleur stammered, his tail wrapping tightly around himself. He was wearing his apple perfume today, and while it was not nearly as strong as he usually wore it, it was still obvious. "I-I'm F-Fleur..."

"Faler? Philer? Fle... ar? Phil... Ah! I will call you Phil." He said nodding, it wasn't that he was a horribly rude creature it would just seem that he couldn't wrap his tongue around the name so he would instead shorten it so he could. He didn't seem to notice though that maybe assigning a nickname could be a bad thing as he instead moved on to introducing himself, "I'm Valens!" His long tail swish back and forth as he gave the other child a bright grin.
Valens' ears flicked back and forth and after taking a step closer the scent of apples him him. The horse boy paused and gave a snorting sound before he started to sniff at the air, "Hrm? Do you smell that?" He asked, he sniffed at the bag of candy he held first wondering if it were the apples shaped candies, nope... they smelled good but not as yummy, "Hmmm... what is that? Smells good." Where were the apples at? He followed the scent and instead of finding himself walking towards any displace he was walking towards Fleur instead.
Was it the other boy that was apple flavored?

Phil...?
Fleur started to say something else but instead found his attention completely captured by Valens' tail, staring at it intently. He had never seen a tail like that before, and he had surveyed many tails already - some were a lot alike such as Caden's and Sahra's although different in coloration, but Valens' looked like it was all hair! Where was the actual tail part? There must have been one or else how could it move?
Shocked back to reality when Valens moved, Fleur blinked at him confused and asked, "Smell what?" He first panicked, wondering if his perfume had worn off, but he relaxed again when he wondered if that was what Valens was smelling. "Oh...my perfume? It smells like apples."

If Valens noticed the attention given his tail he didn't comment on it or seemed bothered by it, not when he thought it was the best tail ever! Well aside from when his mother was able to pin him down and braid it, today hadn't been one of those days so his tail and hair both were down loose around him. He'd won the battle of wills and running like hell!
"Perfume?" He asked then nodded, stepping closer and closer almost standing on Fleur as he sniffed at him again then grinned brightly, "Ah! It is Phil that smells good." He said, tail swishing once more, "Smells like apples, I love apples!" The horse was quite excited over the fact that there was a child that smelled of his most favorite food ever!

Fleur stumbled back a step only to end up pressed against a wall of candy, blinking uncertainly at Valens. "Um...I like them too," he offered, feeling it was rather a stupid thing to say, but he was at a loss right now. "Th-Though I like pineapple more."
Speaking of which - gummies! Fleur glanced over his shoulder and perked his ears up when he noticed he had been pressed right up against the gummi section of the candy store. How perfect was that? And he was right next to the pineapple gummies no less - even better! Momentarily forgetting his nervousness thanks to his uncanny ability to be so easily distracted, Fleur snatched a bag from nearby and set to filling it with the wonderful pineapple squishies.
Half the bag now containing the off-white treasure, Fleur turned back to Valens and asked, now more curious than nervous, "What are you?" He still needed to figure out a better way to ask that. "I'm a spotted skunk." He hated it, but he was what he was even if it was not a "proper" skunk which was striped instead of spotted.

Valens looked rather interested in this new thing that Fleur was telling him about, "What is a pine-apple?" He asked. He knew of apples and he knew of pine trees was it some sort of mix between the two of them? He shifted back and forth on his hooves, he was sure what he thought of that idea. Pine trees smelled good but he wasn't quite sure he wanted to eat one...
He clicked along after the other boy, looking down at what it was that he was getting candy wise then showed off what he had gotten, "They have candies shaped like apples." He said, quite proud of the find.
His ears turned forward at the question asked of him then flicked, "What am I? Ah! I am a Clydesdale!" He said, stomping a foot and sound quite proud of himself and his breed. After all how could one not love being something that was on TV all the time? He wanted to be a Budweiser Clydesdale when he grew up! They were soooo cool! So lucky! They were TV stars!
The word Clydesdale might not fully explain what he was but Valens didn't know that, already moving along, "A skunk huh? What do skunks do for fun?"

"A pineapple?" Fleur repeated, frowning as he tried to think of how to explain it. "It's this...big, brown, prickly fruit with big, spiky, green leaves." He raised his hands to make a gesture of the approximate size of one. "The inside is really bright yellow, and it's really sweet. It doesn't taste much like an apple though."
Speaking of apples, he blinked at the apple candies in Valens' sack. "Those don't taste much like apples either," Fleur stated. He had tried them before. "A little, but these taste a lot better and more like apples." Fleur took a step to the left and pointed at a bin filled with what looked like green worms - gummi worms, to be exact! "There's those and the dusty ones next to them - the dusty ones are really sour."
Finally registering Valens' other comment, Fleur rolled the word on his tongue, "Cly...Clyde's Dale? Who's Clyde and what's a dale?"

Valens got the mental image of a pinapple and blinked a couple of times, they sounded rather dangerous cover in prickles and spikes, must be a pain to get into which meant they just HAD to taste good, "I see." He mused, they were like coconuts in that aspect he decided.
The horse boy's attention turned to look at the two sets of worms that were pointed out to him, those tasted more like apples then the things tha the had picked out? How could that be the ones he picked were shaped like apples! Wow... candy was just plain confusing wasn't it? He moved over to get another bag and scooped some of the apple worms into the bag, "Thanks, will get these too." He said smiling his thanks to Fleur. Yep, he wasn't gonna sleep for a week.
"Clydesdale is a draft horse! A BIG horse!" He said, "I don't exactly know draft though, I think... its like football. You know how all the BIG guys get drafted into that? Well I think BIG horses get drafted to be Clydesdale. That means I'm gonna be BIG." He held his arms stretched out over his head, pushing up to the tips of his hooves to try to be taller.

"Oh...do all horses have a tail like that?" Fleur asked innocently, his attention once again falling on Valens' tail. It was so strange yet so...intriguing. Nothing but hair! And it looked soft and flexible like Stevie's hair which she had been teaching Fleur how to braid.
Barely taking his eyes off Valens' tail, Fleur set to filling up his bag further - he still had half the bag to go! What else could he get that was not messy...aha! Peanut butter cups!

Valens looked over his shoulder and swished his tail back and forth before nodding, "I think so. All of the horse I've seen before have at least." Ok so all of the horses he had seen before were ones he'd seen in books or on TV so they weren't up close but he was pretty sure they were the same thing, "Normally its not allowed to be loose like this, Mom normally ties it back so it 'stays neat'."
It took far to long though to get his tail and hair braided so he instead attempted to get out of it by running like hell, for the most part his mother got tired long before he did.

"Ohh," Fleur muttered in response, watching Valens' tail swish and resisting the urge to reach out and touch it. He hesitated for a moment, thinking of what else they could talk about while they were already here. "Do you know what kind of dragon you'll be getting?" he finally asked after judging that Valens was about his same age - that seemed to mean he should have already gotten his egg or at least would soon get it. "I'm getting a silver one though I don't know why." He was still confused about that - what was so special about him that he deserved one of those wonderful animals?

Valens gave a squeak, then a double squeak, "Really!? Your getting a silver dragon too! That is soooooo awesome!" He said bouncing back and forth on his hooves, "I can't wait to see my dragon! Its is gonna be the best!"
Valens' own excitement was made tenfold more by his parents who were excited to see a real, live dragon in person. The idea that their son was going to take care of it and train with it interested them as well being ex-mages, "We have to let our dragons meet!" He said, tail swishing wildly now, "You know since both are Silvers."
