Playdate for Shidiomi (mistalina13) and Tidus (Sierra_penman).
Shidiomi called and invited Tidus to come over to his house for the afternoon.
--
"I'LL GET IT MOMMA!" Shidiomi ran to answer the door when the doorbell rang. It should be his friend from school that his Momma had let him call to see if he could come over and play today.
Mistalina had made snacks and left them on the coffee table in the living room and had promised to stay out of the way while Shidiomi's friend was there, because he wanted to be 'grown up' and just hang out with his friend this afternoon.

Tidus rang the door bell again. Clarissa had let him walk here all on his own since he said he knew the way. He was so excited to get to go out all on his own now. Tidus put his face to glass watching for Shidomi.

Shidiomi reached the door just in time to see Tidus put his face to the glass. He waved to the other boy then went to unlock and open the door.
"Hi Tidus! Come on in!"
His tail twitched as he looked around for the other boys mother.
"You came here alone?" The catboy inquired as he closed the door behind his friend.

Tidus walked in holding his hands behind his head and standing tall because he was so proud. "Yeah I told mommy i wanted to come alone. But she said if i came home after dark she'd come pick me up."
Tidus let his hands drop to his sides looking around his friends house. "So what do you want to do?"

"Want to color or something? And I know Momma left snacks out for us too." Shidiomi grinned and his cat ears perked. "I have to tell Momma your here...I'll be right back!"
He ran off into the kitchen to tell Mistalina that Tidus had made it there safe and returned a few minutes later.

Tidus had made his way into the other room with the snacks and was sitting down. "so were do you keep your coloring stuff?"

"It should be out here..." Shidiomi looked around as his tail twitched back and forth. "I guess they're up in my room..." He frowned slightly, then caught sight of his coloring books on a table in the corner.
"There they are!" He went over to collect them, as well as the crayons and markers, walked back and set them down on the coffee table.

Tidus smiled. "wow these books are really cool." Tidus said as he looked through one. "so what are you going to color?"

The catboy picked up one of the coloring books and flipped through it, looking for a blank page. "I dunno yet..." He settled on the floor next to the table.

Tidus put the book down finally finding a blank page...and looking at the other pictures. *I think i'm going to draw a whole bunch of flowers, just like the ones in the gardens at home." Said tidus smiling up at his friend.

"Okay..." The catboy's tail twitched side to side as he thought. "I'll just color a picture that's already in the book." He flipped through the pages, until he found an uncolored picture of a cat. "This one."

Tidus leaned over the table looking at the image. "Cute." He felt a slight weight at his neck and remembered the gift mommy and him had picked out. He pulled out the matching necklaces from under his shirt. He pulled the gold one off from round his neck. and placed it one the table. "It's a friendship necklace." Tidus said as he sat back down. "You have one and i have one." Necklaces:

"Wow...thank you." Shidiomi picked the necklace up and put the chain around his neck.

He started coloring on his picture after that, and occassionally fiddled with the necklace.
