This night was cold, cloudless - all stars and a sliver of the moon were visable. These were the sort of woods that one would not want to stumble into accidentally. The one rough, dirt road was the only sliver of civilization running though it - a lifeline for anyone who was lost.
As it happened, Delv was in this unhappy situation, though he had no idea how he got there. A tired expression wrote itself on his face, and his left eye twitched slightly in irritation. "Where the hell am I?" He stopped walking and glanced back toward where he'd come from. It's hard to believe on could get lost on a two-way road. This forest plays tricks on the mind.
Delv had come here to ask assistance of a certain hermit...whom he had found, and subsequently killed. The bugger shot first. It wasn't his fault. After all, he got what he came for - new weapons. No more knife for him, now it was fully consealable arm blades...and a knife. He kept the thing sheathed on his waist under his jacket. It held sentimental value.
"Maybe it's karma." He muttered bitterly. "Though that guy shot first." He kicked a stone into the woods.
Delv wore a tall black hat, and a long white coat. A black scarf was wrapped about his lower face and shoulders. Black leather gloves covered his hands, and his combat boots scuffed a bit in the dirt.
He glanced again down the dark road with his crimson eyes. "No end in sight..."

The lone beacon of Crim's headlight shone in the distance. Crim` rode contently along the dusty road on his bulky motorcycle, a smile on his face as he listened to Jimi Hendrix's greatest hits on his G-pod and nodded his helmetted head to the beat of the song. He spaced out, not really paying attention to the road in front of him or the man in the white coat who walked along it...
He was moving pretty fast as he often did, around 60 mph down this dark and dusty road... Not too good for the man he was quickly approaching. Would he move? Crim` didn't seem to be paying attention to the road at all.

Delv saw this lone, single light off in the distance on the road. After a few seconds he could hear the engine. After a few more the light snone brighter...and brighter. It was getting close.
A little too fast.
Delv's eyes shot wide as he realized the rider wasn't going to stop. His form seemed to turn into a shadow, and dirt flew up all around him. To the rider it may look like a small explosion just occurred on the road a yard ahead of him. The man in the long white coat resolidified just inches out of harms way. Delv swore. "STUPID IDIOT!" Without really aiming, the flung a throwing knife at the back of the bike.

Crim` saw the strange cloud of dust and brought his bike to a screeching halt, the frame sliding sideways and the throwing knife flung at him bouncing off the left side of the bike, which Crim noticed as it landed bouncing in the dirt. He looked at the man. It was dark so he couldn't see exactly who it was especially since his headlight wasn't pointed in the man's direction. "Hmph... Who the hell?" he said, angry. He hit the side of his bike's hard cover, a small compartment opening and the handle of a 2 foot Kodachi shooting up as steam was released.
Crim` grabbed the short sword and pulled it from the compartment, the sound of the blade scraping against the sheath built into the compartment travelling through the sky over the sound of Crim's engine. He revved his bike, holding the blade at his side and quickly whipping his bike around, sending a cloud of dust flying up behind the large back tire as he sped toward Delv. "I just got this PAINTED!" he screamed angrily.

Delv smirked. Even in the dim light, he could see the rider's pink hair. What a coinsidence. What would Crim' be doing out here? He had little time to think however, for now the angery Crim' armed with a shortsword and a motor bike was charging at him. Delv wasn't yet sure if he'd been recognized...however he wasn't sure if Crim's reaction would be any different if he had been recognized.
Delv diverolled away from the charging bike, flinging another throwing knife at the gas tank. Was he trying to disable the bike, or chip the paint and anger Crim' further? Who knew. Delv thought it'd be funny, either way.

Crim` swiped the blade through the air, missing his swipe since Delv dove out of the way. He reared his bike around again, his tires digging into the ground again and creating quite an ugly pattern in the old dusty road. Another knife went sailing at him, hitting his bike and causing a spark against it's hard outer shell and knicking the area near the gastank. He frowned, taking off his helmet and throwing it straight at Delv.
"Hey you! What the hell do you think you're doing?! Do you know how much a reflective onyx black paintjob costs in Gambino?!" screamed Crim`, brandishing the blade maniacally through the air. He then took a moment to examine the man in his headlight. "It's YOU! What the HELL are you doing out here?!" he screamed. He shook his head. "GAH, EITHER WAY, YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" he said, speeding at Delv again.
At the last moment before coming into Delv's general area, Crim` would hop upward, landing with his feet atop the bike's long seat as he turned it sideways and sent it into a violent sideways slide toward Delv. He'd then launch himself into the air while the bike's wide and heavy frame still hurdled forward, rolling into the dust then standing.
"Hmph..." he muttered with a twitch.

(( rofl ))
Delv looked at Crim with a crooked grin. He was obviously enjoying this. Running into Crim...or rather, Crim almost running into him was most unexpected here. Delv just laughed. He ducked his head to the side to avoid being conked out by the biker helmet. "I'm just enjoying the scenary. So there -is- something out here in this forest. I knew you had to be hiding out somewhere secluded."
Delv watched Crim', getting ready to react - he would enjoy this. Assisted by his scarf acting like a spring, Delv jumped high into the air, over the bike. "Lets finish what we started in the Train Graveyard!!" It crashed into a tree behind him, almost cracking the wood in two. Delve landed a yard forward of his starting position and charged at Crim', pulling his white-steel knife from the sheath on his lower back. It flashed in the moonlight as it arched down at the pink-haired man.

(( thought that said "He crashed into a tree" which made me picture Delve leaping over the bike, and then somehow being pushed by a harsh wind into a large tree that he collided with so hard it broke. xd ))
Crim winced as his bike collided with the tree, the sound of the impact was most... Unsettling, and the thoughts of possible damage to the fenders was even worse. He snapped out of it, watching Delve as he landed. Crim would quickly lower his body, his eyes narrowing a bit as he pushed himself off of the ground in a quick backward jump, his arms raising slight and his kodachi held in his right hand. Delve's knife's blade flew in front of him through the air, and in response Crim quickly swung his kodachi horizontally at Delve's body, slightly upward.

((Lol...that would be very Delvish. ))
His right hand with the knife in it wouldn't be able to make it back up in time to block the blade from slicing through his throat. Deciding to test his new toy, Delves left arm shot up in front of him, blocking the sword strike with a distinct metallic clang. Delv shot back, then lunged forward at Crim' like a fencer as a long blade slid out from the sleeve of his left arm. It shot out like it was under some kind of pressure, and Delv grabbed a handle at the end of it, before the blade got away from him.

Crim's eyes widened, this new weapon was quite a surprise. He leaned back, quickly bringing his kodachi's blade up to meet with Delv's new weapon.
He held the kodachi's handle with his left hand, this hand upside down and gripping it; His right hand rested at the bottom in a proper grip, and he would block the pointed blade with the left side of his kodachi's blade as he stepped into Delv then quickly pushed it away and broke into a dash a few steps to his right, switching his blade's grip quickly and spinning it around his left hand until it was once again in a reverse grip in his left hand. He came to a stop, slowly circling him.
"A concealed blade, very nice..." he said, holding his blade up in front of him horizontally at eye level, it's edge pointed toward his adversary. His right hand was held a few centimeters below his left, relaxed.

Delv held his knife at his side, and his left armblade in front of him. He circled with Crim', in this duelers dance. Delv was somewhat impressed with Crim's footwork - he was a truely worthy combatant. "You know me, Crim'...I like my bladed suprises." He grinned. "And I have plenty."
Delv continued circling slowly, decreasing the distance between them ever so gradually so that Crim' may not notice. He had to be quick with this one to end the fight before Crim' thought it necissary to use his arm.

"I can imagine." he said calmly, taking note of his opponent's stance as he circled him. He then realized something; A kodachi, while handy for defensive or quick striking purposes due to it weight, was no katana. A lone kodachi wasn't quite the type of weapon one would weild two-handed because of said weight, and as he was fighting an enemy who now weilded two blades of varying lengths, he wasn't quite liking his chances all of a sudden. His right hand would move to his oxblood leather jacket, unzipping it only enough to slip his finger in and unbutton the clasp that held a 12" specially designed fighting knife in place in it's hidden sheath.
He would draw out the knife slowly, watching Delv the whole time and keeping his kodachi held in the same position in front of him as careful footwork moved him ever so slightly around, one step over the other until the entire length of the blade had been revealed. In that very instant, the instant in which the pale moonlight reflected on the honed tip of the blade, he flipped the kodachi in his left hand to a normal grip, grabbing it's handle with his left hand tightly and swinging outward at Delv's extended armblade with his kodachi, following through with a quick inward diagonal slash with his quickly drawn knife.

Crim` Skylicker "I can imagine." he said calmly, taking note of his opponent's stance as he circled him. ((I'm hittin' the hay after this one. )) Delv watched Crim' carefully. He would not attack until the second blade was drawn - such action would be more than a little dishonorable to one he respected. This fight may not be so one sided now that the both of them were duel weilding blades of varying lengths. In that instant before Crim' lunged, Delv smirked. The glint of light caught his eye, and the sound of Crim's boot finding traction on the dirt road caught his ear. Their blades met again, the slicing sound of metal on metal rang out through the woods as Delv's armblade slid along the edge of Crim's Kodachi. This action brought them both closer - both of them in a potential attacking position. Delv rotated his torso away from Crim' and leaned back. The diagonal Knife attack soared over his front, not making contact. Delv turned his torso back toward Crim', his boots found grip, and he stepped into Crim', attempting to slam him back with his shoulder before he could recover and come back again with the smaller dagger.

((Alrighty, night))
Crim's body was already rotated, his arm extended a bit highly after the missed slash of his knife so Delve's shoulder would slam into his right arm's shoulder, them being around the same height. He didn't really care, as long as the longer blade was kept busy with his kodachi he figured the blade was serving it's purpose: Defense of it's user.
He fell to his left after Delve's shoulder connected with his arm, keeping his left side guarded with the kodachi while he allowed himself to fall completely, quickly raising his right knee then extending his leg into an outward kick at his side immediately as gravity began to take it's toll. His aim was at keeping him at bay with a swift kick toward his midsection as he fell back on his left side, his goal was to be given enough time to get back on his feet.

Delv's left arm was there first. His lower arm took the full force of the kick, causing Delv to slide back a little bit. The armblade under his sleeve is no doubt the only reason the force from Crim's attack didn't break his arm. This action caused him to stall a bit as he recovered, buying Crim' a couple of seconds.
Delv's scarf, seeming to act mostly on its own, comes to life in that same instant, breaking out into six ribbons of shadowy cloth, still attatched to the main scarf. They hovered over Delv' like tentacles, seeming to be waiting for something. Delv brings his blades up and assumes a defencive posture.
He was about as curious to see what his Scarf would do as Crim' probably was.
