ok, i believe that one of two things dealing with who the half blood prince is. either it will be someone totally new that we've never met before, because that is quite frankly what i would do, or it's dean. i think it's dean because we don't get a lot of background information about him unless we look on JKR's website. so i think that it's about time we look into dean's past.

But hasn't JKR said that Dean's past will never make it into the books?

I think the prince is hagrid all honestly. I mean he is half-blood...

I don't think the HBP is an actual character. I think it's a person from a legend or from history, or it's a title given out or that used to be given out.

I don't see why everyone is saying Harry will die in book 6, because then there would be no need for book 7. And about the half blood prince, wouldn't it be so funny if it was Goyle or Crabbe? I guess it wouldn't be since there fullblood though, Hagrid is a good guess...but would he be a prince?

I think he might die as well in book 7, I hope not though. How would the world of fans control that happening? I mean some people devote there life to Harry Potter, making shrines and all kinds of stuff.Um... then those people have serious issues and should be seeking some help, not worrying about the fate of a fictional character. But really, I think it'll hit the fans really hard. It will be like the death of Sirius, only multiplied by about a million. I'll be very amused by it all.

I have no idea what the title half blood prince means. It could be a myth, it could a be a living person. Very curious to find out tough.
I think I remember Jo writing somewhere that none of the trio will die in book six. That includs Harry.
I also dislike the pairing Ginny/Draco. I have nothing against Ginny. She is not my favourit character, but she's ok.
