this book is about aliens that the earth calls dears.The dears are a kind and gentle race.But from all the perfectness they have things to hide.When a truck holding one of the capsules gets into a accident the capsule falls out and breaks and comes out a dears.The schools are having dears as exchange students,everyone is excited except for one his name is takeya he doesn't trust the dears ti'll one day he's walkin to school and finds a person that looks like a foreigner then he tries to walk away and the person keeps following him so he the person to go away and does but the person walks right in the street and almostgets hit but takeya gets the person.He finally sees that person was a dears which he calls Ren.Since thentakeyas life has gone from good to bad to worst.Other dears are trying to take ren away because she is a defective but then ren starts to feel diffrent with takeya since the time they met takeya has met new people and dears and starts to find secrets of the dears.

It's a cute story. The art is well done in my opinion, although it definately qualifies as "fanservice." It's made to draw in a particular crowd.

I've collected the entire series, which includes eight volumes. In addition to that, there's also an Official Fan Book, which has several little short stories by additional artists, along with little fan art tidbits. Overall, it's a good read and goes by pretty quick.

It's not too serious a series, although it has its moments. In addition, regular manga readers will see some of the usual themes that have popped up in other manga, especially shoujo.

I'd give it an eight out of ten, if I were to rate it. mrgreen

I finally got this manga series after watching the anime. 8.5/10 So funny, and yet it still mangaed to stay serious. o.o And the artwork was beautiful. And yes, that was a little based off the fact that it had very beautiful characters. ^^;
