Walking slowly through the snow her bells jingling quietly with each step she took Adelle couldn't help but smile. The snow was her friend and she loved being in it. Where she had previously come from before coming to this land there was snow all year long. "Ah snow my friend. You make the scenary look so beautiful with your sparkly white covering everything." She said as she stopped for a few moments to look around.
"It seems quite quiet on this lovely winter day though. It would be much more wonderful to share the winter's scenary with someone."((Haha I suck xD Don't mind the title/opening post xD wink )

Esha had to admit, snow was an adventure! She smiled as she trotted through it, her steps long and high-lifted to work through the drifts and deep patches. But a smile was spread across her muzzle, her tail held high as her mane danced backwards with her movements. It was cold, but she found she enjoyed the stuff greatly. How could she not, with such a new, strange, and wonderful experience? Her ears turned and she snorted, her breath showing in the cold air. She slowed to a walk as she turned her long equine neck to see another not far away, though this soquili was a pretty silvery white that nearly blended with the snow. If she hadn't heard something, she might not have noticed her.

Pawing at the ground slightly Adelle stretched out her wings as she looked around once more. In the distance she spotted someone that stood out from the white of the snow. "Well I say it would be nice to share this scenary with someone and someone appears." she laughed quietly her bells jingling quietly as she laughed. Though if they come this way will the next question. That though I will not say aloud. She watched the pink soquili to see where it would go or if it would stay.

Esha was far from shy, so going to meet a complete stranger was as common for her as eating. She changed her course of travel and aimed for the silvery form in the distance, prancing over to in a friendly manner, her eyes twinkling warmly. "Why hello!" she greeted, her voice smooth and rich like honey, the kind of voice that asked for nothing but simply offered affection and trust.

Well it looks like I'm going to have some company. Adelle smiled as the soquili came towards her. Though upon hearing the other speak she really couldn't help but smile an even bigger smile. "Hello! What brings you out here?" She couldn't help but ask.
"Oh please forgive me. I got ahead of myself. I'm Adelle by the way." Laughing quietly she lowered her head slightly as if bowing before bringing it back up. "I just have this intrest of what brings others to where they are at. So please do forgive my rudeness."

Esha chuckled, seeming far from offended. There was nothing wrong with what she had asked in her book-Adelle had simply been friendly. "Oh no, no, there was nothing rude about it," she assured her with a grin and a lift of her head, "I am Esha. A pleasure." She dipped her long neck in a greeting, flicking her long, tick tail. "As for why I'm here," she said in a warm, throb of a voice that could comfort anyone, "I'm simply wandering, seeing new places...and you must imagine my surprise! I've never seen snow before!" Of course, it's not as if she hadn't heard of it before, but hearing descriptions and seeing the wonder with her own two eyes were two very different things.

Never seen snow? Adelle had thought that everyone had seen snow at least once in their lifetimes. So the shocked look on her face basically said it all for her. "You've never seen snow before?" she asked just to make sure she heard right. "I grew up way up north where there was snow all year long. So coming here and seeing grass, flowers, and unfrozen rivers so I do know what you mean if it is true you've never seen snow before." She still couldn't get over how Esha had never seen snow before though she knew that Esha would probaly think the same about how she never saw grass and whatnot.

Esha just smiled, her eyes pools of empathy. It was almost as if the two mares had reversed rolls-one growing up purely in the warm lands and the other in those covered with white flakes of frozen water. "Yes, I had never seen it before now," she neighed, her voice warm and low, "But then...it is hard for me to believe you had never seen the fields of flowers and landscapes of green? It seems we are opposites in our experiences, mm?" Despite her comments, her tone was light and her attitude casual. She didn't mind if the other mare had grown up without seeing grass and vegitation. Everyone had a different story and a different beginning, after all.

Adelle couldn't help but smile once again. She scolded herself mentally for being rude again though. "It has seem that we are opposites in experiences. Please forgive me again for being rude. Normally I am not so rude. So please do forgive me." She lowered her head apologetically. Looking back up at the mare she couldn't help but gaze at her companion for the moment. She hadn't actually take the time to notice the coloring on her other then it stood out from the snow.
"Might I ask how your enjoying the snow? As well as that you are really quite pretty."

Esha laughed openly, shaking her head and letting her strands of hair bounce with the motion, "Oh, please please, you aren't being rude at all. Just speak your mind. I expect nothing more, nothing less." She smiled warmly, offering nothing but acceptance. Adelle could act any way she wanted. She should just be who she was. Besides, formalities were just a tad overrated.
"And yes...I'm quite enjoying the snow...it's so fun to run through, you know? And I love how it covers everything like a blanket," she mused with a tilt of her head, looking out at the landscape. She quickly turned her gaze back to her companion though, "Why thank you! You're quite beautiful as well...you've got a silver sheen to match those pretty bells you wear."

Adelle pawed at the snow a little bit creating a small hole in the snow. "I'm glad your enjoying the snow. It makes the surroundings look so beautiful with it's sparkly white." she commented as she looked at the area around them. "A silver sheen that matches my bells? Well that's one I've yet to hear. Thank you for such a compliment." She smiled at Esha and turned to look at the few trees in the distance. "It's a wonder how the branches of the trees can hold up the snow. They look so beautiful though." She couldn't help but let her eyes wander. The scenary of snow especially in a new land she couldn't help but continue looking.

"Nature is amazing, isn't it?" Esha mused as she followed Adelle's gaze across the landscape. Trees could survive in the cold, water could freeze and turn the land white, and yet spring could also come and change everything back to green with acsents of color everywhere you looked. The world was always changing and it never ceased to amaze her.

Adelle nodded as she continued staring at the trees. "Nature never stops changing either. It likes to throw suprises every now and then." She turned her attention back at Esha and smiled. "What was it like where you came from? With it never covered in the blanket of white like here it must have been quite colorful."

Esha nodded, "It was colorful all through summer, spring, and fall. During winter it got a little gray and such, and cold, but never cold enough for snow. Sometimes we got cold or icy rain, but for some reason we just never quite got these beautiful white flakes-Ah, but in the spring there were so many flowers and plants in so many colors it was almost like a living rainbow." She chuckled at the thought. She had loved the variety there...but even if that was her birthland, she hadn't remained long. Once she had reached adult hood she had set off, wanting to see new places and experience what the world had to offer.

Adelle listened to Esha speak of her homeland and she still couldn't believe that there was such a place where there was no snow. Though it did sound amazing. "It sounds like a beautiful place. So full of color." She couldn't help but picture the flowers in her mind and for a moment she wished that it was springtime but only for a moment. "I never got to see such colors until I came to this place. The white of the snow and the blue of ice were about the only colors I ever saw growing up."
