Hello there fellow AG peeples.
Well, this may have been attempted many times before, but I thought that I'd start up a thread and bounce around ideas so that we could all get together and meet. There are a number of obstacles that would keep us from seeing each other...namely:
-Life
-Money
My first step is to hope to find a period of 2-5 days that we can all get off work, be off school, etc...and work around that. Once we get a time nailed down then it would be a bit easier to figure out where and how.
After the time, the next big problem is finances. Now, I have a number of ideas that would help, involving finding stuff to sell on Ebay and a sort of group effort.
Of course, the amount we need to raise depends on where we want to meet and stuff.
Anyways, I just wanted to get some ideas on location, etc.

Some of us were actually talking about getting a large group meet for AX '08 going. I like that idea, it gives us time to plan and save moneys...I do like having more moneys for conventions.

L0k1 Some of us were actually talking about getting a large group meet for AX '08 going. I like that idea, it gives us time to plan and save moneys...I do like having more moneys for conventions. Mhm. I know Justin, Hannah, and I are planning on trying to go. Not only is it a convention, but a convention in Cali where there is sun and stuff. Not that I'd see a whole lot of it if I'm at some Convention, but still.

I'm definitely planning on hitting up AX '08 as well.
With work as it is, I can't work in a lot of time off, so it's unlikely I'd be able to do more than one event in a year, and I don't think I'll be able to afford any traveling after my D.C. trip this year. So for any other meetings, I'd probably be out of the runnings until '09.

But seriously, if we decide on AX 08...we can move on to the fundage part. Like...who can pay their way and who needs help and how much.

Wellll I'd need enough for a plane flight and then the cost to enter the con. biggrin
Which, tbh, I could probably cover myself, but need the money for food and such. We'll see nearer the time when I should hopefully have a job too.
