This is a Private Roleplay between Kurama no Koishi's Hakumei and Hime/Chi Sohma's Takako.

But when he was away from them to roam around. He'd often check to see if his fur was right. Fluffed. And Combed.
He wagged his small tail wrapping it around his legs as he sat there with his chest perked up.
"Beauty..."

Hakumei followed his friend cautiously, quietly moving next to Takako on the rock. His blue eyes watched Takako's apparent jovial expression in the reflection, and for a brief minute the shikoku envied the other's beauty. He was such a plain dust color; the only thing that was exciting about him was his large blue eyes. Takako was also much more sociable, earning such attention from humans. Hakumei sometimes tried to associate, but he always felt awkward doing so.
Takako continued to watch himself in the puddle, and Hakumei wondered how they came to be best friends, being at opposite ends of the spectrum. Finally, he lifted a paw to bat the other playfully, as if to say "Hey, I'm here. Let's play something."

Takako
He turned and looked at his friend. "Huh? Play?" He remarked thinking that playing would ripe his attention away from himself. He didn't want that but at the same time Hakumei was the only friend, that he considered as a friend. He nuzzled the other softly. He wagged his tail. "Sure. Lets play..." He pawed at his muzzle to fix the fur when he nuzzled the other.
His beauty had filled his head. From birth he was connected to Hakumei by friendship. So he valued it. Thats the only thing he did value other than his looks. The humans. His own had took him a long shower... so his coat shined. His feathers perked on his tail and pawed at the other softly. "What do you wnat to play?"

Hakumei nuzzled his friend's bright fur in return, happy that Takako was willing to play some sort of game with him. A rather contented expression spread across his face as he thought of something to do. Hakumei turned to glance briefly at Takako's soft, shining fur, remembering that it was probably not a good idea to get it dirty again so soon.
"Maybe we can look for some shiny things," Hakumei related to Takako, somehow. "I found a pretty rock yesterday by the pond; it was a blue-green. I took it home. Maybe we can see it after we find some more."
Hakumei's lively gestures with his paws made his expressions more evident. Upon finishing his brief speech, he settled down again to eagerly watch for Takako's answer.

Takako
He looked at his friend and leaped at the stone ledge he was sitting on. The stone; making up a round shape that leads to a well. He looked down in it for a moment then back at his friend. Not really wanting to be dirty. And he knew he would get dirty. He shook his head finally coming a conclusion. "Fine... Only because it is something shiney." He said, not really doing it for the items because he knew hed have everything, but for his friend he would do it.
"Fine..Fine.." Again he repeated as he jumped on to another stone figurine in the temple. He kept stepping on the stones below; like sidewalks to the opening of the temples. "If YOUR the one giong to invite me then I think YOU should be the one leading." He said in a cocky manner. This little child being too pampered for his well being; now treating others like so. With a light pounce. He kept on walking out of the temple not waiting up. It was in his nature to do so. He pondered if his humans would get mad but. Unfortunately he knew nothing of what they would say. But if his friend was there maybe he could explain.
