Cordain's home was indeed on the top floor of a hotel, the clerk aware of Papina's open invitation to his home before she ever even showed up. It was a sprawling home, with an arboretum that included a massive swimming pool and a hot tub.
Inside there was of course his living room, two bedrooms, library, and various other rooms of importance, big and little. In total the pent house actually consisted of the roof and the top floor of the hotel. Something he picked up as a legitimate occupation.
At this time, Cordain was in the apartment on the top floor examining the contents of his fridge, adorned only in swim trunks. His son, Halcyon, was outside in the arboretum's pool swimming, the famed crystal in a pouch tied at his waist.

Papina pulled out the card Cordain had handed her during their last meeting and looked at it again. She had to be close by now. She looked up and around, trying to find where he lived. Her mouth opened into an 'O' as she found the place. Her gaze unwillingly traveled up the building, and she had to force the butterflies in her stomach back down. He was on the top floor? Well... it wasn't that high up, she told herself. She gulped before she strode towards the front door, hoping she looked more confident then she felt as she entered.

One of the men in suits looked up as Papina entered, "Ah...green...you must be Papina. We were told you would be coming, right this way miss." He said before leading her to a private elevator. This elevator went right to Cordain pent house, "He is likely on the upper floor of his home." He presses the right button for her, inputs a passcode and returns to the front desk.

Papina blinked as she was ushered to an elevator and led inside. The man pushed some buttons before leaving, and she got that feeling in her stomach that meant that the elevator had started to move. Cordain was likely on the upper floor of his home? He had more than one floor to himself? Her eyes were round as she gazed around the elevator, wondering when it would stop...
And where it would stop...
...
If it stopped...
...
It would stop eventually, right?

Cordain was in the front room with a couple glasses of lemonade in his hands when the elevator dinged. There he was, standing in just a pair of swim trunks when the elevator doors opened to reveal Papina.
By far and wide lacking any sort of shyness he gave her a white grin, "Hello Papina, the arboretum is just outside, Halcyon and I will be in there but we'll be at the near end with the pool, you can find anywhere in the arboretum to go and enjoy the warmth and sun in. If you get thirsty, water, lemonade and sun tea are in the fridge."
He definantly was well defined and muscular, but not so much so that he looked ungainly or like a body builder.

When the elevator doors finally opened, the first thing her gaze locked onto was...
Cordain.
In nothing but swim trunks.
She never seen a male with... quite so little... on...
She managed a mangled squeak as she couldn't help but stare at him. She was vaguely aware that he was saying something, but the smile he started off dragged her in and made her less aware of anything else. "Oh. Err. Uh..." Did he just give her directions to somewhere? She didn't want to look stupid and ask him to repeat whatever he just said, but she really hadn't a clue what to do now. Her cheeks burned red at the thought of looking stupid in front of Cordain, but it couldn't be helped.
So she simply stepped outside the elevator doors and stood there looking, well...
Idiotic...
Lost...
and Flustered...

Without a thought or hesitation, Cordain took Papina's hand and led her to the arboretum, "Here you are Papina...I'll be at the pool with Halcyon, you're welcome to join us if you want." he rubbed his hand a bit before he entered the arboretum, leaving the door to it open for Papina to enter if she chose to.
The pool was in plain view for her, as was Cordain's hind end at this point. Halcyon even spotted her and gave her a lazy wave as he sat on the edge of the pool.
Cordain handed a glass of lemonade to Halcyon before he set his down on a table and dove into the water.

o.0?
Eh? In one ear and out the other. It was quite clear where Papina's gaze was riveted to.
It was only after Cordain dove into the water and out of view that Papina shook her head to clear it and belatedly waved back at Halcyon before she turned to wander deeper into the arboretum. There were so many plants to see and hear, perhaps even talk to here. There was only a moment's hesitation before Papina made sure she was out of view and stripped, making a wad of her clothes before she shoved them into the first hiding spot she found. She ran a bare hand down her unadorned side in amazement that she had actually gone this far. She dug a toe into the dirt for a moment to taste the ground before she zipped deeper in, where there was more green life to blend into.
Perhaps there was a hidden area in here that still had access to the sun?

Cordain watched Papina depart into the plants of the Arboretum with a wistful look on his lips before he swam over to Halcyon and pulled his sun into the water. He went back to what they were doing earlier, teaching the crystal child how to swim. His long hair pooling about him and flowing in the water.

((Just to let you know, Papina loathes any large amount of water. She's always worried that she might soak up too much with her roots and drown. 3nodding Plus she doesn't know how to swim... ^^; With the two combined...))
Papina pushed through the growth, carefully moving a branch here, a vine there, until she nearly fell over when the resistance stopped. Bright sunlight nearly blinded her for a moment before she briefly looked up to see the sun, the leaves on her head furling and unfurling with glee. It still smarted a little, but the poor leaf had mostly grown back and it didn't hurt as much for anything to brush it. She spread her legs apart enough to brace herself and dug her feet deep in. Oooooo... the ground here was rich. She didn't bother to put her arms in the dirt as well, but she did hide them in her own shadow as she closed her eyes, tilted her head back, and let the sunlight soak into all of her. Her normally clothed parts tingled as they darkened to match the rest of her, absorbing sunlight for quite possibly the first time ever, and she felt light-headed, almost giddy with the rush.
Who wanted to swim in water when they could bathe in sunlight instead?

((Cordain could teach her and they could wrap up her roots so they don't touch the water.))
Cordain heard a crashing sound in the arboretum. He set Halcyon done and moved off into the arboretum to find out if Papina was alright, coming to the point where she was and tripping on something he didn't see, in fact it seemed like a plant he hadn't seen before. His shorts caught on vines and managed in the process of rolling to keep from hurting himself, ended up slipping out of his shorts.

((Papina would squirm until she figured out she would be okay and Alarai would luff on Cordain forever and ever if he could get Papina to not mind being in the water.))
Papina wasn't even aware of any other presences until one tripped over her. She managed a strangled yelp as she fought to stay upright. It wouldn't do for her legs to break. She automatically flung her arms out to steady herself as her legs pulled up from the ground, and was surprised to feel bare flesh under her hands.
Which left the question...
Where were her hands currently located, and who were they on? She froze at the mere thought that perhaps her hands were in a place they should not be...

Cordain raised an eyebrow, "Ah...that was you making noise Papina..." in fact she did end up with her hand somewhere inappropriate, but Cordain didn't even bat an eyelash for the moment.
"...and I may have to amend my statement in the park about you not being old enough...you're looking quite the...grown up..." He gave a chuckle, "especially with what you're grasping right now."

Her... quite the grown-up? Especially with what... Her eyes traveled down to where her hand was and she was up in a flash with a yelp. She waved the arm in the air, as if she could undo the touch. "SORRYSORRYSORRYSORRYSORRYSORRYSORRY!" she half yelped, half squeaked, and completely freaked. She totally forgot her legs hurt she was freaking out so bad.
Her mother hadn't told her anything about what to do in this situation! gonk

He stood up and gently rested his hands upon Papina's shoulders, "Do I look like it bothered me Papina? Don't worry about it...I really only wear clothing because it bothers people with me walking around nude..." he smiled at her as he reached up and gently pet Papina's hair.
"Shhh...you're alright...don't worry about it...if you want I can put my shorts back on..." he glances down and smiles a bit, "You might want to put on a bikini and join my son and I for lunch..."
