I requested to join a guild for Pagans/Wicca. Not because I want to be one, but becase I wanted to learn more about these religions. Don't hate me.
Is it wrong to be interested in learning about religions other than my own?

I'd say that learning about other religions is a great thing to do so that we know better how to witness to people like them. Just as long as "learning" doesn't becoming doing if the practice is wrong.

Thats cool, I don't see why anyone would hate you. I read Dianetics to learn more about scientologists. Its fine to research other religions, just remember what you believe at the same time.

It's fine, but don't start following that religion. I try to learn about other religions too.....BTW: Wicca spells don't work. Before I joined this guild and became a Cathloic(sp) I was messing around with my friends and got relly sick from a spell. DOn't try them!

I agree, it is a good thing to learn about other religions, as long as you stay true to your own.

It's a good way to get wisdom and insight on other beliefs so you can show how wrong they really are xd .

I dont think it's wrong at all. I go to a 75% muslim school. You need to learn about the religion to prove it wrong.
I only warn you to be sure your faith is strong enough, or you could fall into a trap sad

I really don't think you guys should be saying that other religions are wrong... neutral
Heck, we don't know if our religion is right. It's just what we believe in, strongly.
But I would just appreciate it if no one else said that other religions are wrong.
But I can't make you do anything.

Well... if you believe in Christ, He says that He is the only way to God. Its true that we don't know anything for sure, but that is part of the test that God is putting us through. He wants to see if we can trust in Him even if we can't know of His existence for certain. Fortunately there is a lot of evidence for us to believe in Christ if we choose to. That being said Christians can't concede that another religion may be the way to God, because the only way to God is through Christ Jesus.
