In my personal opinion, the worst thing about kingdom hearts is cell shading sephiroth. I beleive this to be awful, but that is just me. What do you think?

I honestly thought Kingdom Hearts wasn't too bad. I enjoyed seeing my favorite characters in a different form other than polygons.
Though, I didn't like Sephiroth's voice. They could've done better!!!!

None of the characters in KH were cell shaded! Cell shading is giving computer animation (or rendered characters for this instance) a black outline to make it look cartoon-ish! Usually the black outline follows the surrounds the character, until the character passes another cell shaded object, in which the cell shading is not visible. But sometimes that may not be the case, and the outline surrounds no matter what! The character will also receive a cartoon like shading towards it, and the 3d-ness of the character will be less apparent until the person moves around! Example:  The image on the left is not cell shaded. Just computer animated, whilst the image on the right is cell shaded! Sephiroth a la KH

steam punk rhapsody is right. That's what cell-shading is. Sephiroth was not cell shaded. If he was, it would blow the game out of proportion--- kind of. Since everything else is 3d. I think you misunderstand what cell shading is.

Darn...someone already beat me to the explanation of cell-shading....... Anyways, that's your opinion. Sephiroth looks really sexy in KH to me.

i think the whole greatness of having sephy and the others in kh was that you got to see them in other games.... it makes me giggle though with the wings coming out of his butt though...but i digress, so even if he was cell shaded, i wouldn't be offended.

Eh, I liked how he looked in the first KH (well, basically because it was his same outfit XD), but in the second KH the outfit looked weird.
About the cell-shading thing, I don't know what that is, and I don't care to read the explaination, but whether he was or not, he still looked fine?

I don't like the new outfit they gave him. I hated those weird butt wings he had under his coat and the red trim. the charaters didn't seem very real as well, they seemed diferent from the actual games. cloud is too emo, in FF7 he was more outgoing and more upbeat in a way. I mean the guy cross dress for christ sakes! xp

thank you steam punk rhapsody for clearing that up.no characters are ever cell shaded in kingdom hearts.to see true cell shade look at DBZ Budokai 2,3 etc. most of the DBZ games are cell shaded.sephiroth's change of attire, i believe, was quite kick a** in KH1&2

thats usually what happens when *homo* guys from NSYNC voice a character. at least in KH1.
nothing against gay people, but...
NSYNC is bad.

I personally liked all the characters that were put into KH1/KH2. Except for certain voices I thought it was cool getting to see some favorite characters again biggrin
