so, what other glam artists do you like?? personally i only heard T-Rex wich is an amazing band, specially Electric warrior, but i know others by name like gary glitter, suede (heard a bit, very cool), slade, sweet.. and then there's the drags alice cooper and the nydolls (who rule and are the best!!)

Lou Reed rocks!! and the velvet underground is my favourite band of all times, but they weren´t glam, thou lou reed hang out whit bowie he was a plain rocker.. Transformer (he's first album)thou was very glam..
What do you think about iggy pop??

Eno, Roxy Music, TRex~ it's all wonderful...
the NY Dolls only when I'm in the right mood.
Yeah, Reed's only quasi-glam stuff is on Transformer. But I love him too. heart
I haven't played any Iggy Pop for a while... I seem to remember liking it though.

Iknow whatyou mean about the ny dolls.. you have to be in the right mood like with punk rock... but when you are... it's the best! they're so powerfull and angry!

I love so many Glamrockers... I adore Iggy Pop and Eno, Lou Reed, T-Rex, Marc Bolan, Roxy Music and NYDolls, they shaped my teenage world and I always have one of their cds playing when I study or work. I remember the kids at school telling me that I should hang out with their parents, cos it appears we had the same taste. razz
