From Firekin to Goddess of Rage. Females, was that all there was here in this cursed peaceful place? Damn, was this mission even worth his sanity? With a sigh, the small black lion moved through the shadows, his shelter, his armor, his protection.
"Na-be.... damn b*****d, hiding such a fruitless place like this...."
He growled as his shadow protection thinned. Damn.... for the past day or so, he had sat in the shadows to avoid unnecessary violence or killing. He did not need the attention to get the pride's attention on him. He had to find that stupid lion, kill him, and then report back to War.
All throughout the afternoon, he had stalked another water hole for the animals to depart and leave it alone for him to quickly get down there and get a drink. He laid under a bush, the upper part of his body vulnerable and seen. He had waited so long that he began to lose interest rather quickly. He rested his head on his paw and yawned.
Stupid Pride lands.... can't wait for a war to break out here and just completely obliterate this cursed place. It's too damn happy...

A place that was happy? That would seem strange with a lioness like Latifu living inside it. Power hungry and vain she was yes happy but she made sure those around her weren't, not unless they did what she told them.
She was a harsh lioness, a happy one but harsh. She flirted with the boys and made sure that they adored her and then she was happy.
A voice hit her ears though as she sat quietly thining about who she should win onto her side this time. Unfortunatly she was interrupted. Getting up she looked around to find the male. Better a male then a stupid female.
"Looking for something?" She spoke in a harsh cold voice. She was never nice to strangers who looked so... unattractive.

His ear flicked and with an annoyyed look, he glanced over to the female. He wasn't good at being snuck on and she was quite lucky that he didn't want the attention of the Pride Landers. Was this female a Pride Lander? Was his scruffle with Kherpi what ticked them off? Or was his harassment of the Goddess of Rage....
"A lion that is suppose to be here..."
Kinari's voice was gruff and sort of... emotionless. He narrowed his eyes and scoffed. The only thing attractive about her was that she had red eyes. Her fur was too soft. It was just too clean. maybe a cut would make it better. A scar. Damn, can't get those thoughts. He had to find Na-be. Yeah, that was it. When he found that b*****d, he would unlease all his frustration and need to hurt, to kill, to be a sadist, release and channel into Na-be.

Her blue eyes looked over the lion and then she sat down.
"You are an ugly thing aren't you." She looked him over again and sighed.
"Who are you looking for? I am a princess.... of sorts. So I might be able to help you." She leaned on the word 'might' as she said it not because she wouldn't necessarily be able to help him but more because she never did anything for free. That would just be silly.

((wow...where did I get red eyes from? xD))
Kinari scoffed.
"Better than you are, Pride Lander."
He didn't need to look at her to reply to that. He had enough of an eyefull as it was. His paws twitched as he stretched out his back, pulling himself from the bush.
"Na-be. I am looking for a lion named Na-be."

((her siblings XD))
She chuckled.
"You think alot of yourself. Pathetic, obviously." She yawned and stood back up. She hadn't heard of the lion he was talking about but she felt mean.
"Oh that worthless thing. Yes you can find it not far from here." She smiled or attempted to, it came out more like a smirk. A little bit of playing around with this male wouldn't hurt now would it?

"So what if I do? Call me pathetic but lets see you be a rogue and see how pathetic you are."
Kinari growled and glanced up at Pride Rock. So he was here, but something about this female didn't seem right. She had an attitude that made him smirk, but he was also untrusting to anyone. Was she lying? Could he believe her? Was Na-be even alive still? His eye twitched as he took one of his bangs and nibbled on the end.
"So what the hell should you be out here? As for Na-be, how are you so sure he is here. After all, I am sure you would not want to upset or cross a God."

She laughed.
"I don't want to be a rogue. I am happy where they bow down to me and I am in control, goodness I wouldn't want to be out near such filth." She laughed a little and turned to walk towards where she pretended the lion was.
"Princess. I know where everyone is or at least should be. If I ever get my paws on this land it would be run so differently. Lazy creatures. Pfft." She was moaning. She loved to moan about her pride, they were just too lazy to care about her and she hated it.

Kinari shook his head. He had better things to do and talking to this female was not gonna get him any closer to killing off Na-be. He shrugged and turned from her.
"Well, Princess, if you become the queen, I'll be sure to come visit you when you are more worth my time-no, my attention."
With a scoff he headed down the hill to Pride Rock. It was a landmark, like when one is lost they follow the river. When he was seeking someone, he was best to find a landmark and use it. The Pride Rock thing looked like a good place to go. Besides, he didn;t want to sit around listen to such a vain female.

She laughed.
"I shall let the Rulers know there is a trouble maker about then." She smirked and yawned.
"Oh and that lion... you won't find him here. He is long gone." Another lie but that was what she was good at and as far as she knew there was a possibility of it being true anyway.

"Go ahead, I have not done anything to your knowledge." He smirked and stalked off into the shadows of the acacia trees. Stupid females. At least males had the balls to fight.... hehe....
Kinari made it clear to himself that the Pride Lands was where he was heading. No one was gonna deter him from his destination.

She chuckled again.
"Thats what you think." She smirked and let him leave. She found it rather amusing at how he seemed to be so detached from normality. Maybe he was one of those odd lions that loved other males and not females. Yes that must be what it is.
