If you want to get back into Midgar after disc 1 go to Bone vilage and order a serch. It may take a few trys but select "Special Treasure" When asked what you ar looking for. Order the crew to di right over the burnt pile ow wood near the tent and you should find. "Key Item: Key To Sector 5". Now you can get in and out of Midgar at will. Go into Aerith's Church but don't walk too far in. When you just walk in, Mending the flower bed will be none other than Aerith herself, If you walk too close to her, she will fade away. It's not much but now you know the truth...You were supposed to Revive Aerith after she died.

yeah that is a fun little thing to do. I'm a little surprised cloud does not have a little cinimatic wen that first happends but yeah it is cute.

I accepted her death as a tragedy and wished people would keep it that way. She died to save the Planet for chrissake's she's pratically immortalized herself in some people's minds!

I recall reading about this at the FFVII citadel. Most people believe it to be a glitch while others think it's there to arrouse the players suspicion of being able to revive Aerith...but we all know by now that can't happen.

I'm almost 100% sure that that "ghost" of Aeris was there just as an easter egg, and nothing else. Not a glitch and definitely not for reviving!

Even if there were a way to revive Aeris, it would have been found now, since it's been almost 10 years since the game was released.

I actually saw some rumors for this a while ago! Some said that if you run up to it quick enough, then she'll join your party. This is wrong, because you can't go to it while she flickers away. It won't let you.

Another said that if you find all seven ghosts of Aeris, and then go to where you find Lucrecia (in the cave) she will join your party. This was wrong because there was only that one. No more than that.

And the last one I remember said that if you see the ghost, go over to her house, talk to her mom, and then go up to the waterfall near her house (?) Aeris will magically appear and she will join your party... Do I really need to explain why this one is fake?

Point being, is that there is no reason for this whatsoever. Tetsuya Nomura was just playing around with us! gonk

I love Aeris. She was one of my first favorite characters. [not anymore, now it's Cloud]. I still love her character--- and I perfectly accepted that she died. I would have been more mad than happy if she came back alive. Things happen... and I think it's better for her to be dead [it sounds harsh. xD]. She's now part of the planet-- like a little goddess herself. And Aeris plays out better as someone to look up to-- someone like a goddess, rather than just a normal human being in my opinion.

Keheheh, seeing Aeris alive again was pretty tight. *sigh* But then again, after staring at it for a while I just couldn't help but leave it on for the rest of the day. People getting pissed off, wanting to watch TV and I'd yell at them and junk, keheh.

Regardless of whether or not you love or hate her, you know her. She'll never be out of people's minds until the next generation of children, the ones born after 1997-2000.

Though, hell, it might be put into history. "Videogames that changed the electronic age: Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time, Final Fantasy 1 and 7, Pokemon..." It'll be funneh...


Though, wouldn't it be a bit weird, if, like, both Aeris and Sephiroth were revived through some weird ritual in a movie? Like, the lifestream brought them both back so Sephiroth could repent and Aeris could keep check of him or something? I digress a lot, a lot...
