Lex Luthor

Apearence: (Basicly the sexist beast alive!) User Image

Personality: A hot, rich, confidante man who knows he has the world at his fingers and uses it to his best ability. Trying to crawl out of his fathers shadow he strugles with the all consuming evil he knows he must rid of himself, but also understands is what protects him.

Life Style: Lex has only the best, down the the three dollar a bottle Ty-Nat water he guzzels everyday. He is in the best shap possible for him, and ten times better than any non metor infected man. Lex works all hours of the day but still manages to party when he needs to....even if it is with thoes unfufilling bimbos he hangs out with.

Chloe Sullivan

Played by: Muse to Adonis

Apearence: User Image

Personality: This young, blond, hot reporter never takes no for an anwser. She has a personality and confidance that will light up a room. Always loving and caring, she makes everyones problems hers--and usually solves them faster. This girls only weakness is a story; she will go to all depths to get the truth, even if that means putting her life on the line.

Life Style: This power house is fuled by more coffe than a Hummer's gas tank, but remains thin and in shape--always ready to run after that top story. Chloe has her own apartment, now living away from her cousin, which gives her even more time to work her life away. Chloe rarely has time for friends (much less her self), since she always seems to be helping Clark with the next metor mutant, but still tries to remain in contact with all she knows...even if one of thoes people is the infamous Lex Luthor who at one time was her friend, then enemy, and, well she dosen't really know what he is now. Mostly he resides as her continuing top story. That might change however, with her new ability.

Ever since Lex had gone missing, he had been on the front page of every newspaper. 'Funny,' Chloe thought, 'as if he didn't make enough head lines while he was ali...no,' Chloe forced herself to think of her one time friend as still alive, but missing. When she was offered the story of his disappearance she politely declined, thinking that re-living all her memories with him was altogether too hard to do again. He boss only looked at her funny and asked her if she was getting soft.

"I am doing no such thing, Mr. Perry, I just think that there are more important things to put on the front pages of our newspaper, besides all other papers will have the same story, we can't be just like them now can we?" Perry just gave her a funny look and moved on to the next desk to had out the assignment.

That night Chloe went back to her apartment and cried.

Now? Well, now was different. Now Lex was back, alive, and destroying the market even more than before his mysterious disappearance. The day it was announced Chloe had to dismiss herself from her desk to go to a near by closet and scream all of her fears and emotions out. She couldn’t describe them, it was comfort, love, hate, betrayal, all coming back…just like the day he said goodbye to her. Yes, he had hurt her, and yes she resented him. But damn it felt good to know he was alive. And, in a fit of—well the only close definition is joy—Chloe was quick to accept the article that was to headline the youngest Luthor’s “back from the dead” story.

The day of the article was here, and in a very un-Chloe-like manner, she was sitting in her room looking at the entire content of her closet strewn across her entire floor and bed area. Half an hour later she finally decided on a tight fitting black skirt that hugged in all the right places, but still looked professional, a jewel red top that tucked in with black accented bulk jewelry that made her neckline look tantalizing, and her wrists look more delicate than usual, with her alabaster skin almost over ruled by the large black beads. Her shoulder length blond hair was curled slightly and bobby-pined back by her ears.

Walking up to Lex’s mansion door she mentally steeled herself for what was to come. She hadn’t seen Lex in, well; it had to be almost a year. Not since he said goodbye. Before getting out of her car she had re-applied her blood red lipstick for the umpteenth time, took three deep breaths, and double checked she had everything a reporter needed; her recorder, three pens, two note pads, and of course her multiple note cards filled with questions. While raising her hand to knock on the door she quickly went over her mental mantra “its ok Chlo, you’ve got this. He doesn’t know its you anyway, just ask the questions and for God’s sake stop thinking about him!”

“Good afternoon Ms. Sullivan, Mr. Luthor is waiting for you,” said a well-dressed server she thought she might have recognized. ‘Well, s**t, he knew it was me.’ Chloe thought and her conscience chirped in ‘what did you expect dumass! Of course he knew! Like he was going to invite a stranger into his house, have your forgotten how smart he is?!?!’

No more time to think, she had arrived at Lex’s library and saw him sitting at his desk…

"Mr.Luthor," Chloe walked into the billionare's office in his library with a strong but completly fake sense of confidence. 'here we go, I just have to just get through a few questions and get out of here. She walked up to his desk...

((Insert Just after first post )) Lex stared at the vaulted stained glass windows, a crystal glass with half finished, half forgotten brandy sitting in his slowly twirling fingers. He mulled silently, acutely incased in his own thoughts. He’d been sitting there for two hours now, his desk chair facing the tall windows, just thinking; which was quite unlike him, usually by this time in the early morning he would be clicking away at his laptop, plotting his next play on the market or predicting stock. Lex was trying to understand how he always managed to find all the worst women alive, how he singularly could have such a run of horrid luck in that department of his life. Part of him piped up ‘maybe it shouldn’t be a part of your life,’ another more sensitive side (the one all those women seemed to find and abuse) said, ‘I can’t do that, everyone needs love…’ At which point the other side became exasperated and Lex forced the argument within himself to stop before one side decided to strangle the other.
Sighing heavily Lex spun himself around to face his laptop, his fingers drummed a rhythm on the expensive top as he tried to drag his brain back to being useful. Lifting the top and putting in the nine letter and number combination for that week he began to work. Without even getting two sentences done on the report he was writing he found himself inserting the words from his digressing train of thought into what should have been a report. The result was an almost funny lattice of business and something else. Reading at one part: ‘results indicative didn’t seem that bad of higher prices love isn’t funny to rely on present facts’ etc. Lex as torn, half of him wanted to laugh and the other half (the half with his pride) pointed out peevishly that he was the one who wrote that garbled up mess. Lex pinched the bridge of his nose and ran a hand over his hairless head allowing himself a small self criticizing smirk. ‘Time to get back to the real world’ he told himself as he pressed and held the ‘backspace’ button.
A few more similar occurrences forced him to take an obviously much needed break. Strolling through the complex and intricate halls of his manor Lex found himself looking through the largest stain glass window, which overlooked the front gate. He stopped mid stride to look out. An unmistakable orange Volkswagen bug pulled through the gate. Lex smiled to himself, though he didn’t know why, as he took the state of the art cell phone from his black slacks pocket and called the front butler. Without waiting for the greeting from the older man Lex said, “Tell Ms. Sullivan I’ll see her in the Library.” Again not waiting for a response Lex clicked the button on the phone and made his way quickly through the hallways to the library. He had to at least look like he was busy. Sitting down and pulling the lap top up again Lex was just typing in the password as a very stylishly dressed college reporter walked through the glass and wood framed door.

((just fer you Muse wink ))

In fact stylish was an insult. She looked pretty damn sexy. Hardly noticeing that he was checking out a friend and much younger friend at that, Lex let himself look her up and down at least twice as she made her way across the room, before placing an amused look on his face that hid his absolute approval and saying,
"Not quite what I expected to see, but welcome all the same, Chloe." He stood forcing himself to look her in the face as his gaze threatened to drift lower. Okay, FOCUS! he mentally ordered himself before continuing with a half smile saying,
"And its 'Lex', I'm only 'Mr. Luthor' to reporters I haven't known for three years." Yeah, ones that arn't so delectable... Dammit! FOCUS! Lex kicked himself metally as he made his way to the drink counter. As it turned out her face was just as much of a distraciton. Her lips were red with lip stick, just the right shade for her skin tone and her hair looked tantalyzingly soft as a few stray strands swayed as she walked. Glad to turn away from her distracting appearance as a whole Lex collected himself a bit more. Grabbing a blue glass bottle of water and openning it he asked, only glancing back.
"Can I offer you something to drink?"

Chloe saw the “bald billionaire” as he had been dubbed walk towards her. Chloe, with more than a little exhilaration, noticed that he was shamelessly looking her up and down, ‘Ha! I bet he thinks I don’t notice, well, Luthor, two can play that game,’ her internal monologue kicked in, ‘Dammit Sullivan! Get it together! You have a purpose here! Just ask the questions and get out.’ Her face twisted into an odd shape while she was thinking, she barley heard him ask if she wanted something to drink. Brought out of her revere she tried to collect herself and put off a front that said “Oh me? No I was definitely not just thinking about you naked!”

“Oh, um…something to drink?” Chloe asked while thinking ‘yeah, got any hard liquor?’ So, what does Chloe do when she knows she is in over her head? Defend, of course!

“No, Mr. Luthor,” she stressed his name so he knew that she meant business, “I think it would be better if we just get started. So…” Chloe opened her bag and brought out her recorder and questions as she took a seat at his desk.

Lex tried not to sigh outwardly as he turned around to find her seated and grabbing a recorder. Now i remember why i hate reporters, he said to himself, all business and no fun. He resisted the urge to flop into his seat and pout, Lex stopped mentally, 'flop'? Did i honetly just consider 'flopping'? what the hell is that supposed to look like anyway?! tapping the cool bottle to his forhead and focussing on the task at hand Lex fixed a bored look onto his face. I guess she doesn't get that she's the only one that's going to get this story, something about that dampened his spirits. Did he really want her to know she was special that bad? Shaking his head once again he sighed and leaned over his lap top ready for the grueling task at hand. Fabricating took so much energy. Of course he wasn't about to tell her the real story, that wouldn't be something he would share with anyone.

“So, I guess the most obvious question to start with is ‘What happened’” Chloe started, but immediately changed her plan when she saw the look on his face, ‘God Sullivan! How dumb do you have to be, the poor man was probably still recovering from what must have been a horrific experience!’ “Okay, maybe that wasn’t the best way to start, I mean that it probably hard for you to talk about and well it was a little mean, I….I” Dammit, stuttering. Since when did Chloe Sullivan, star reporter, stutter or run on? Never, that’s right, never. ‘Oh hell, good job girl, you messed up, you let on that he got to you.’
Chloe looked down, and tried to regroup, “Ok, I’m not much for ice breakers and all, but how about starting over. How are you Mr. Lu…Lex?”

Lex paused and tried to cover whatever it was on his face that had made her change her question. Not good to be too open with some of those expressions. He had just about completed his fake answer when he stopped short before delivering it. Lex kept his face blank, though he appreciated her concern. To be honest he soaked it right up, enjoyed that someone cared enough to ask, and something in her voice made him answer quickly, honestly.
"It's.. been hard." He'd said it long before his mind caught up and gaped. ...####.. What did i say that for?! He threw a casual smile across his face to hide anything else and hopefully throw her off to the fact that that was a completely honest answer.
