A mass of flesh rolled out from the northern gates, bubbling and awaiting an opponent to take any true semblance of shape or to even chose the aspects it would project. Light and metaphysical senses were afforded to this lump of flesh, allowing it to see the area perfectly and know basic power levels, if any, present in his opponent. This would also reveal technological components with their distinct aura and any psionic or psychic emmanations, so that The Heart may adapt properly.

Slowly the ball began to roll forward, a shadow of five forms projected in the air as mere constructs of light. These would do nothing and would be unaffected by attack as they were nothing but light. The one on the far left appeared as a tall man in a white suit, golden hair streaming down his back as he twirled a black cane before him. The other four were as yet vague shapes. As the ball rolled forward a growing wake of Crimson Mist could be seen in its wake, light around the orb distorting to create a mirage of sorts.

The man in the white suit was joined by another figure, a woman of great beauty with a set of wings behind her changing from dragonlike wings to black feathered wings, a certain darkness clinging to her white dress. The ball of flesh continued rolling along at a rather liesurely pace, about one fourth of the distance between them now crossed. In his wake the Crimson Mist continued to expand, a single ruby pulling into existance and growing. It was perfect in formation, millions of facets upon its face giving off light in a supernatural glow.

The winds pass harmlessly through the expanding Crimson Mist, apparently it was merely a visual representation and had no physical form. The ball of flesh began to pick up speed as it advanced, the cloud of mist discorporating the single ruby into a physical cloud that began to expand within the Crimson Mist itself. A third figure is produced in the set of five, a tall man of at least seven feet with greyish brown puckered skin covered in scars with barely any facial features. The projected figure wore no clothing and it was clear that he did not need clothing or even armor, for he seemed to have no genitals to hide from view nor did his flesh seem to be normal, almost like it was covered in scales, save for the points with scars.

The sphere had crossed approximately three fifths of the arena, which was fairly good for a blob made of unassociated fleshy bits. I mean seriously, its rather difficult to roll along when you're just a mass of skin and other tissue just random shoved into the shape of a ball. A fourth appeared, a taller man of a grey tone of skin with long tentacles of grey flesh pulling back from his skull, looking as if they had once been dreadlocks. The light figure's back had two great wings, a mixture of a drab grey flecked with small rubies. However, the most remarkable feature about the man was that his face was covered in a featureless mask of ruby.

The images fade and the Crimson Mist disperses to leave a fine dust of ruby across the northern half of the arena. The ball of flesh quickly comes to a halt as it begins convulsing. Spurts of pink fluid with the viscocity, and appearance, of curdled strawberry milk begin breaking open across the surface of the sphere. After a moment some of the spurts begin to include alternate colors, mainly black, grey, and green. There apparently seems to be some sort of biochemical reaction occuring within the sphere.

A vaguely humanoid shape began to unfurl from the ball, flesh altering to the whim of DNA that was quickly reprogramming itself. The figure stood at seven feet tall with three pairs of wings extending from its back and a mass of tentacles slipping through streaks of blone and black hair. The first pair was mismatched, one being of black feathers while the other was draconic in nature, resembling that of a black dragon. The second pair was grey, flecked with rubies set within the feathers. The last looked like angelic wings the color of blood, each feather a mechanical creation of some unknown metal. In the nullified magical state they would be giving off a fine mist that quickly dispersed to nothingness.

The pale grey flesh showed signs of faint scales, but the figure itself seemed largely androgynous and entirely unnatural. The cracking of bones readjusting themselves in both position, shape, and size filled the air around him before he looked to Ryu. The Heart's eyes were a pale green and set in an almost reptillian skull such that he looked to have one foot in the grave. A faint sheen seemed to cover his arms, not unlike sweat in appearance but hardly the case in terms of purpose, a poisonous substance exuded biologically by the body. He flexed his claws once before nodding, "Yes, I do think that I am." His body blurred as his arm shot down and seemed to scoop up a fair chunk of the ground and hurl it towards Ryu. Based on the distance the speed would likely be inadequate to cause much surprise, or to even hit at all if he had his head about him. If he didn't, he wouldn't have it for quite some time hereafter, the space where it should be rudely occupied by a large rock.
