The chilled air of the temple stung at the nostrills, decay linger in one's throat with each intake to breathe. In the heart of these sublevels, one Malu remained in the labrinth...confined in the walls of his horrific shrine. Pacing around the room as his pelt rubbed against the blood stained walls, few of the un-dry pawprints smeared onto his pelt as he passed. Aion hadn't returned to his shrine for some time now, having had to keep an eye out for his Brother, as well as keep track of his mate and pups. Now, the pure stench of the blood of numerous malu filled his nostrils with a lust to once again feel the warm liquid pill over his paws and lips.
"No..." He hissed, his smooth vocals dangerously tense as his eyes closed. He knew he couldn't, Elu would be saddened if he continued on in his old ways of death and pain. What she didn't know, wouldn't kill her. Such a notion was true, as the larger male leant back on his hind legs to crack a few bones along his spine. At a conundrum of what to do, it didn't help his conscience was urging one way while his god the other. Opening his eyes back up, his singular orange orb turned about the room as a smirk snaked its way into his lips...somehow, prideful each time he looked at the mass of pawprints on the wall.

The deep silence of the labyrinth was broke by the echoed padding of a certain mischevious malu. His fur was a deep black, barely reflecting any of the dim light. The white whisps over his chest and forelegs almost glowed in the florescent light, however, making it seem like a spirit or animated puff of smoke was haunting the hallways of the lower temple. Kearne was not afraid, in fact he had a wide grin on his face, like he was on a tour of some delightful amusement park. Indeed, he was quite at home here! The whole place was like one huge nightmare! He loved it.. He'd defenitly have to set up alittle place for himself here..
He passed a decaying corpse and blinked at it, head tilting a bit. Then an amused laugh escaped him as he reached out a paw to make the body's jaw move up and down, as if it were talking. So much fun. He moved on after a few moments, troting happily until he came to a large door that conveniently led to Aion's shrine.. He sniffed, eyes glancing around at the dark handprints, decorating the walls wonderfully like some kind of morbid wall paper. Martha Stewart would be shamed.

Death truly could be an intoxication, and as he sat there in the solitude of his own shrine; he would gladly become addicted. However, the solitude didn't last long, as the echos of hooves on cobblestone drew closer and closer untill the scent of another lingered into his shrine. Slowly turning his head so his orang orb drifted to lie on the other male, a throaty snarl grew in Aion's vocals. Never had he seen this particular male in the sublevels...the only souls he knew that resided down here were the likes of Loki, the cannibal tribe, and the stray which managed to find their way down into the depths: yet did not make it out.
As the stench of death lingered around his body, a maliciously delighted smirk rose on his lips as the male stood up slowly. Shifting his body to face this intruder, the demi-blind Malu dipped his head in a bow, velvet smooth chords rung out in a bemused, polite mannor. "Greetings, Stranger. What brings you to my humble abode?"

Eventually his eyes had drifted from the walls to the floor, noticing the darl, stretched shadow that danced over the floor manically from Aion. His head tilted again, and for a moment it seemed that the shadow was alive.. a demon it's self.. But then he noticed it was connected to something, which was even more scary, with the blood and all. His grin widdened. Seemed like his kinda guy..
He bowed back, so low that his chin touched the floor, his hind legs strait, tail twitching back and forth with excitement. "Greetings and salutations, friend!" He stood quickly, looking around again, seeming rather anxious. And he was! He was usually calm and demeaning, but in a place like this.. where he could taste and smell the decay and utter evil... It made his blood pump faster, his head dizzy. In the same way the blood lust had intoxicated Aion, it fueled Kearn. His muzzle came back to the other black male after a moment.
"Did you create all of these yourself?"

Flattening his ears back lightly as his head returned to its upright posture of pride and dignity, his eyes tilted to gaze upon the other as he nearly fell to the floor in a bow. At least this one knew how to respect another..unlike some other ignorant adults around here....did they not know they could become yet another print on his bloody canvas of a shrine?
Letting out a 'hmph' as this similar black and white male seemed to excitedly skiddish at the mere sight of the room. "Don't get ahead of yourself." He spoke in his monotonal voice, before his own gaze followed Kearn's around the room. Once again, that devilish smirk arose, this time a spine tingling chckle arose from the depts of his dark demeanor.
"Yes, I did. Each one has a face....somewhere in the shadows down here."

"That's... amazing." Though he had dared to ponder it possible, he had never met anyone quite as sinister as him.. And this guy was much worst them him! He felt awed, humbled even! He hadn't been this excited in quite awhile... His past was only full of 2 or 3 murders, and most were by accident while torturing weak minds. Not that he regreted them of course. But this guy had killed hundreds! Slinder smokey legs started to shake with anticipation.
"What is your name, if I may ask?" It was odd... His ego was usually much better then other's, he enjoyed putting them down... but this guy... He deserved the honor.

"Mmmhn." He breathed lightly, that was a first for him to hear anyways. 'Amazing' wasn't the first thing that came out of most people's mouths. None the less, this fellow was more amusing that most he had met; other than his mate, he seemed to be one he could actually stand. As his own heart began to pound that hypnotic rythm into his head...his lips began to water at each thump of warm..slick...blood running through viens. God....his lust was nearly becoming unbearable.
Focusing his attention and his eyes, albiet his blind eye, on this ebony male he responded, "Aion. What is yours?" He sneered in good jest, somehow the excitement of this malu was getting his own anxiety up...his god anticipating that his loyal minion couldn't hold his own against his merderous tendancies for much longer.

"You know what would even be better?" He trotted over to him, head a bit low and ears back. His grin hadn't fadded, if anything it had grown, showing black gums surronding the glistening white teeth. "You should have like... bones or something.. somewhere. I dunno. Never much for decorating myself... Wonderful place you got here though." He wiggled his eyebrow at the other male then trotted over to one of the walls where there was still wet blood. He sniffed at it and shuddered, eyes drifting closed for a moment. What he wouldnt have done to be here while the act was actually happening.. To hear them scream.. The blood was just the aftermath, the result.. It was fun, but the screams.. and the expressions of terror they made. That was what he lived for.. That was what he loved. He glanced back at the other malu and licked his lips. "Think you will be doing it again soon..?"

Raising his brow, the male glanced about the room as if to try and picture what it would look like with the bones of his victims littered along the cobblestone. Shaking his head ever so lightly, he turned his back to him before speaking. "No, decaying bodies are too much of a hassle, and then I have to deal with the parasites and insects buzzing in my ears. You'll find all the bones and rotting flesh out in the halls amongst the shadows." Well, it was a true fact.
Thinking for a moment, something seemed to snap in his soul, washing a wave of calm over his excited body. It was as if it was the calm before a bloody storm, as a unnatural chuckle arose from his smirking lips. "Enlighten me with a name, or perhaps i'll start with you." He tilted his head back to glance at the male, his shoulders rolling back as he stretched out his muscles. Taking a few bold steps forewards, he got right up into the face of Kearn and smiled...which looked incredibly creepy on his maw. Black began to swirl in his orange orb, evident his god was taking action. "Oh...it will be soon..." He breathed deeply.

His legs tensed, muscles hard as they flexed. His amusement seemed to die quickly at the near threat. Was he serious...? This marvelous creature was going to harm him? Well... He couldn't blame him... True evil had no mercy for anyone, even their own kind. He did not look quite afraid, merely cautious. Teeth flashed again, the grin returning.. Though it was almost more of a baring, showing off the sharp ravor tipped teeth.
"Hmm... I do believe I saw someone on the way down here... I was able to scare her a bit while on my journey... She seemed a bit lost. Surely she would taint your.. appetite better than me." His grin turned a bit more good natured, and he barked a soft laugh. "More innocent.. My blood is foul, I'm afraid... ...I could help you..." He almost looked at him hopefully, tail twitching with excitement.

Taking note of his own sharpened canines, Aion also posessed a flashy pair himself...although his was partially stained due to his 'activities'. Smirking as he listened to this male babble about a substitute for saving his own skin, Aion chuckled quite loudly. It was interesting to always see the behaviours Malu would show when faced with their own survival, self preservation kicking in many different ways.
"Tell me this, stranger.." Aion began, his voice taking on an amused and inquistive tone. "Is your blood red? Is not her's? Mine is, a beautiful crimson. Despite the actions of what one does, and their outake on life...it does not change the composition of that warm life liquid. Any blood will do." Smirking wildly his maw turned down to rub against his neck, feeling his heart pound in excitement....or was it something else now. Opening his jaws, he allowed his sharp teeth to graze lightly against his flesh and fur...before his vocals seemed to switch to a rather dark and serious tone. "I do not want to repeat myself again. I want your name, or I will deal with your insolence...."

The player of poor Kearn is assuming that Aion bit him, and not Aion himself.. If not the Kearn would just blink at him in wonderment. And if correct.. The malu's paws twitched a bit as the older male bit him, though he didnt yelp or whine. Pain had never really effected him that much. And it was only a small bite..
"Aha! All blood is red, this it true..." He tilted his head a bit, eyes becoming half lidded, causing the glow that admited from them to dim. "Perhaps your god values all blood the same, but mine does not..." The claws on his front paws tapped against the stone ground, flexing slowly as the tension coiled and uncoiled. "My name is Kearn, if you really have to know... What is yours?"

"I make it my buisness to know. It would be rude of me otherwise to simply have a wall of nameless pawprints." Moving his body back to give the male some space, now that he knew his name..perhaps he could be of some use. "Blood is blood to my own, he does not care as long as it flows so beautifully from one's body." Again, a smirk graced his lips as the stripes on his twisted to make him look all the more sinister.
"I already told you, It's Aion. Named after an infamous demon." bemused, he chuckled before slowly moving his frame towards the door of his shrine, muscles shifting under his pelt with each meticulous step. "Now....perhaps you will show me this treaure you have found, if you wish to partake in such a thrill."

"Oh... I dont usually forget things..." He blinked and shivered a bit as the murderer went towards the door. He'd actually be able to see this? He trotted after him quicky, nails and hooves clicking against the floor loudly. "I guess, ya know... Just excited..." He exited the shrine behind him, then moved up to stalk beside the male. "My God prefers the blood of the innocent... The ones that scream and cry when in pain and anguish... It's just not fun at all when occacionally I get ahold of a strong one, and they barely react at all while breaking... Why I prefer kids and girls..."
He raised his snout and sniffed, ears flicking around. "This way." He stepped forwards a bit and turned a corner. "It was closer to the top levels, but I'm sure she's probably still lost... Wasn't very long ago ya know.."

Walking along the nearly silent paths, the darkness filtering and surrounding his body gave the male some inner comfort. "Excited...that is a first I have heard. Most malu here are against the darkness of their inner calling....only a few have embraced it." He commented, even his own mate had changed him for the most part...for good reasons though. Listening in on his own speech, it seemed that Kearn was in it for the psychological murder, the torment of knowing death, and implementing the pain for which they would cry out for it...yet it wouldn't come. It was sick and twisted...yet he liked it.
"If she's an outsider, the fear and confusion the smells and darkness brings will probably cause her to panic and not think logically....i'm positive she hasn't gotten out yet." The words almost purred out of his lips, his wings folding against his back as they seemed to melt into his fur. "I'm sure there is a way to make everyone crack, even the strong ones. Perhaps using another to get them to crack?" He offered his own mental logic, unsure of just what Kearn had done in the past. It was at least small talk to pass the time untill they reached their unfortunate victim.
