Killzone. Is. Greatness.

Despite some flaws, I find it a lot better than many FPS out there for the PS2. Timesplitters 2 was entertaining and fun, but Killzone just takes the prize of Most Badass. It has one awesome concept behind it, and gameplay, although seemingly just your average shooter, can get pretty tactical in multiplayer especially.

Unfortunately, I do have some sadness. Killzone does not offer the customization that Perfect Dark had for your single player multiplayer matches (With bots n' stuff). You can't choose what weapons you want to appear, there's no bot personalities - And *GASP!* you can't choose what 'skin' you want; You're either a Helghast grunt (Which is cool), or a dorky/bald ISA soldier (Which is not, so I stick with my Helghast buddies).

The weapons truly are the best I've seen... No lie - I find these weapons very special for some reason. 'Shooters usually have a couple of weapons that make you go 'Whoa, I want one!' and then a bunch of others that are like 'Meh, looks like crap, works like crap. I'll use it to conserve ammo.' Not so in Killzone - I found that every weapon had a balance to it... As if no gun was better than the other but all were pretty cool to use (Except the Sniper Rifle! It's the worst thing by far, as are all the sniping weapons in all games!! Grrr... <--Hates campers). But seriously, I hope to God weapons in the future are that badass.

I love the opening cutscene... I keep tell me friend who also has the game that the dude that's giving the speech is him in the future biggrin . He looks exactly like him, sorta...

You're right, Sykin. TimeSplitters was great. Especially when it comes to multiplayer.

But Killzone takes the cake, man.

Oh happy day, I'm installing Half-life 2 right now...
