 He lounged on a boulder that stuck out of the ground, flicking his copper brown tail idly. His golden eyes were gazing out across the lands to a large rock that jutted out of the ground, higher than most formations around. It was Pride Rock, the symbol of the Pridelanders. Perhaps he would venture in there one day, but for now, he was content running into different ladies who were traveling between the realms.
Sumilyth rolled over onto his back, showing the white underside of his belly as well as a long, jagged scar that ran up over his ribs as well. He rubbed a tan and white paw in the center of his mane, scratching an itch that decided to run across his coat. Nothing was going right.
He had caused girls to swoon, giggle, despise him, and even cuddle close to him. But still he hadn't been able to draw a girl to his side for a closer inspection and getting to know one another in a deeper fashion. There was no rush for that, but this act of celibacy was going to eventually make him gruff to others if he wasn't careful. He needed another distraction. Perhaps he'd spot another between travels again shortly? He sighed and stared up at the clouds in thought.

 Her stupid brother!!! Barazahi had her fur in just the right spot!! That dumb male made her so... infuriated! She knew that this couldn't be what looks best on her, her displeased face, but still. She just had to get away to cool down. The first sign of a baggy area of skin was going to be all his fault! She continued to skulk further and further away from her family, and plopped herself near a small rock. Off in the distance were bigger rocks, but she cared not for one of these on this day.
She aggitatedly grabbed her tail, and started to lick it back into place, at first very fast, but slowing as she calmed. Once that was done, it was back to her bangs... You never know when there might be a male to drive mad out here.

He rolled over, shaking his body to remove the dirt and grim that he managed to grind into his pelt. His mane poofed out further as he stilled, making his head seem larger than before. He settled his rump back on the rock, looking out into the distance for either food or company.
His golden gaze passed right over the spot of blue that was off in the distance before going back for a second glance. He couldn't tell if it was male or female, but it wouldn't hurt to move closer for a better look.
He pushed off his seat with his back paws, padding over towards the figure in the distance. He sniffed the air tentatively, trying to catch the scent on the wind. It was indeed a female and his grin grew wide with a charming gleam. "I have seemed to have stumbled upon a blinding beauty for you have shined a beacon for me to follow."

She thought she had heard a noise in the distance, but after a scan of the area, she decided she'd just been hearing things and re-focused her thoughts. She turned her thoughts towards something that had just popped into her life recently... She felt a want- a need for love. Real love, not just driving males crazy over her drop-dead good looks. She suspected she hadn't ever felt it before because she was too young, but... It was confusing. Even if she did pair up, would she still be able to flirt with others? Would she find someone in her pride that she liked enough to call a mate?
She didn't know, and wouldn't until she met that special someone. She was in a bit of a daze with all the thoughts, and was oblivious to the male's presence.

He frowned slightly when she seemed to not really take notice of him, but his brow smoothed out and his smile was back on his maw. Perhaps she had not heard him clearly. "I follow you like a beacon of light in the dark. Doth this angel have a name?"

Barazahi jumped at the sound of a voice. She hadn't noticed him until just now- he blended into the background so well! His words, however, boosted her ego even more than normal.
"Oh! Hi," She said, at first startled and then softly. "I'm Barazahi- Raza for short. And you are?" She asked.
