I've decided to write a musical about techies. Yes, it's called Techies the Musical!

What I've decided to do (at least for now) is to take existing songs from musicals and change the words to fit my musical!

So if you have any ideas for songs and their adaptations, fire away!

It takes place in an average Hish School theatre. (easy set)
General plot:
The techies and the actors arn't getting along (so what else is new?)
There is a new girl techie in the theatre and she learning the ropes from all the other techies (song ideas?)
She then meets a cute boy actor and the romance ensues. (more songs)
Then something bad happens and the actors and techies are at eachother's throats.
The girl techie and boy actor try to mediate but it all goes wrong and they end up fighting and stuff.
(song, song, song)
Then it all comes to a head during the dress rehersal and all heck breaks loose (Noises Off style)
And then they manage to pull it all together for the performance, and of course the two leads get back together.

So.... that's about it. Ideas please!

Yes, that was wsort of the idea, to spoof West Side.
I was also thinking of using a song from Oklahoma...
Oh, the actor and the techie should be friends, oh the actor and the techie should be friends... and so on^^

This is a tad bit crazy XD I started writing a show called "Techies: The Musical" earlier this year. I've nevewr written a musical before, but I got a few songs and a bit of a plot line out. Great minds think alike?
