If someone came up to you and asked you,
"Why did you buy a Wii? What the heck is so great about it? You should've just saved your money and bought a 360 or ps3."
What would YOU say in response?
And no.. no one asked me this, I'm just curious as to what you guys would say 3nodding

Well, I'd say because I like how it's so different.
You don't just sit there and press buttons to stab someone with a sword on a wii, you actually do a stabbing motion.
And it gets you up off your couch sometimes...
it makes people look less lazy. hah.

Because Nintendo pwns Sony and Microsoft's asses put together.
Besides, Nintendo's been around much longer so they actually know what they're doing quite well.

I would say "Shut up and stop questioning my choices in life you strange person I just met."
Then I would go onto to teach them how it involves the whole family and gets you up off that oversized rear of yours.

Someone (A certain 360 owner... *hiss) asked me that question. I gave him a good enough answer, he bought a Wii.
"Your not just holding a blocky controller now, sitting on your a** the whole time. The Wii makes you feel good, when your hands drip sweat, you're obligated to wipe them off on your jeans and keep playing. Besides, what good release games did the 360 and the PS3 come out with? And don't even say Halo 3. That won't be out until next year.

Thirdly: why the hell not? What's not to like? It makes you healthier, the games are interesting and some are genuinly funny.

reason for me buying was that it was different from other consoles.. whole new way to play games ^_~

I would say,
"Because it's so much more different than the other consoles, in a good way. It immerses the gamer in a new fashion unprecentaded by the community. It's also remarkably light and portable, and very cheap. Sure the graphics arent the best, but hey, you are trading graphics off for a much cheaper console, with a whole new dimension to gaming."
