blaugh Very elegant. It's so pretty! Unfortunately, what with me living in America... maybe it'll be on Youtube? And if this is by the same people who've done animated Doctor Who stuff in the past... I hope they've stopped having lazy-arse moments like in "Scream of the Shalka."

I love cartoons. Bring on the animations, it souds like fun! All the same, I do hope it wont be like the animated webcast's 'cause the animation in Shada and Real Time is a bit... rubbish.

This is a sh*te idea. RTD has made too many spin off's to doctor who, and has anyone noticed how they're all crap ideas? If he doesn't stop soon he's going suck DW dry and kill it. I am really starting to hate Russel for his involvment in doctor who, not the writing the writing's great it's just everything else he does is so Curded up!

I... think I'll give it a miss. Animated versions of things just seem to annoy me... plus it will be targeted towards an even younger audience. Even so... it might be worth looking at.

This heavily stylized art isn't quite my thing. I wonder if this is being animated by the same group that's doing the missing Invasion episodes for the DVD release.

That was Cosgrove Hall, wasn't it? This is Firestep, apparently. Unfortunately Cosgrove Hall's website is under construction again, so I can't confirm. DW

I just checked and you're correct about Cosgrove Hall doing Invasion (and also Scream of the Shalka). But the BBC announcement says Firestep is the creative team behind previous Dr. Who animated adventures... I wonder if Firestep consists of creative talent from Cosgrove Hall have broken off to form their own studio.
Well, from the announcement it seems like this will be part of the Totally Dr. Who show. At least it sounds better than that lame companion competition they had last season.

They had this thing about cheekbones. xp Since Martha and the Doctor look no gaunter than normal, it didn't seem like the same people animating it. Granted, they might have tried a different style.

Wasn't he throwing around the idea of giving Rose her own show? Just stick to one thing...or else it's all going to stretch a little too far and snap.
