Lady choked back a sob at the filly's words. "I know sweetheart....i know...but it can't be helped....it can't be fixed...But it will be ok...it will be ok....I promise." She felt horrible...She felt it was her fault that Sari was blind. "It will be ok...." She couldn't look at Draumr' or her other foals...she could barely look at Sari....But when Leda came over she blinked. "Leda..." she nuzzled the foal. "Leda is somthing wrong?" She didn't think she could handle it if another of her foals was blind...
Leda shook her head and scooted over, her legs still to shaky in her mind to work properly. She nudged against Sari and Lady. "Sissy, is somthing the matter? why are you sad?" she snuggled against the two.

"I believe you mommy." Sari said, snuggling against her sister and mother. "But it's still cold."
Draumr' smiled sadly. He was upset that one of their children were blind, but that wouldn't mean they wouldn't love her just the same. It was just..a speedbump. He lay on the other side of Lady, resting his head on her back and looking at his two little girls.

Lady nuzzled Sari. "I know...but your not alone." she looked at Draumr' and nuzzled him. "Draumr'....what will you do if...when...my sight leaves me..." she whispered to him. Her heart lay on a bed of rocks and it didn't feel like riseing any time soon. She lay her head down and closed her eyes, her mind spirling down. Never had Lady really ever been upset about her lack of sight. Even once she got it the thought of loseing it again never really depressed her. But now she could only describe her feelings as a deep depression. Mentally she gasped as a new thought, forign to herself, ever crossed her mind. Suiside...She had caused such a sweet and innocent child to have to deal with the harshness of being blind...and her mate....he did so much for her and had stayed beside her through everything...she had just caused to many problems...and when her sight left....she wouldn't even be able to care for her foals. She took small breaths to calm riseign tears and panic. If she were gone....Draumr' would be better off...he could find a better mare to care for the foals and help him....love him....she just made a mess of things, she was just in the way...She lifted her head and looked at Draumr' and then to Sari. "I'm so sorry..." she said softly.
Leda smiled and snuggled close to Sari. "Its ok sissy, i'll help keep you warm!" she looked over to where her brother had been. "Brother! Brother get over here!" she called, giggling lightly. She curled up beside her sister. "and brother will to, and momma, and papa."

Deja lifted his head finally and looked over to the rest of his family. His vision was blurry but it soon cleared as he blinked a few times, adjusting to the brightness. Although, one of his eyes was glazed over and you could barely make out an actual eye. He only had vision in one eye. The colt stood on his wobbly legs and walked over to lay down next to Lady and snuggle into her side.

((XD lol. Well, to let you two know, Leda is gonna havce problems with her legs. They are gonna be really weak and she is gonna have trouble useing them and running and such...like deteriated musles.
oh and next reply is Nata's))

Draumr' smiled sadly and nuzzled Lady. "It will be just like it always was, how it used to be. We managed before you got your sight." He whispered. "Besides, who says your going to lose your sight back?" He smiled and nuzzled his son.
Sari giggled and snuggled close to her brother as well.

Lady stayed silent. She stood up slowly, nuzzling the foals and scooting them over towards Draumr'. "You three wait here for a moment, ok? I'll be right back...I...." she trailed off and forced a smile. She turned and muttered a tiny good bye that flew off in the breeze as she trotted off.
Leda blinked and looked up after her mommy in confustion.

Deja looked up as Lady trotted off. "Mother..?", was the first word that came out of his mouth since he hatched. He looked up at Draumr' who was busy with Leda and Sari at the moment so he stood and walked, still wobbling a bit, in the direction Lady had gone.

Lady stopped finally beside a hidden river, deep water running dark and sinister. Lady collapsed beside the river, tears streaming down her face. her breathing came in gasps. Her ears pinned back. However she heard a tiny sound behind her and her head snapped around, eyes locking on Deja...'he followed me...' she thought before she tried to clear her tears and force a smile. "Deja, sweetie, whats the matter? Do you need somthing?" She motioned for him to come over to her, un willing to stand herself.

Deja carefully walked over beside Lady and layed down to snuggle into her side like he had done before. He remained silent for a while before answering her question. "You, mommy. I want you. Don't leave." His voice was quiet and hard to hear but had a deep feeling to it, like a glowing sunset. It's such a simple thing but it can have such meaning to it as well. "Stay with us."

Lady blinked and stared at Deja carefully. "Sweetheart..." she nuzzled him, tears steadly falling. "You don't understand...your too little to understand...I...I just cause problems..." She stared at him. Somthing she had failed to notice was brought to her attention...one of Deja's eyes. She nuzzled his cheek. Her mind slowly began to work once more, this time in a diffrent direction. She was setting a horrible example for her children...But...the facts still remained... "Sweetheart go back to your father and tell him i'm going to see my mother..." She nuzzled him before standing. "I'll be back, i promise." she smiled at him. "I just need to talk to my mommy, your grandma, about your sister Sari. She's vary special...so are you and Leda..."
((just respond as normal. ^^ I'll type up a solo later so you all can find out what happens with her and her mom. but the next time she goes to sleep she won't have her site when she awakes. Just a heads up))

Deja stummbled a little when she stood, since he was leaning against her. He just looked up at her, confused, and refused to move from where he was. "No mommy. You need to stay. You have to stay." He didn't understand why she was leaving and he didn't want her to go. He didn't want to go back, he just wanted to be with Lady.

Lady shook her head. "Sweeheart I'm comming back." she smiled at him. "I promise, i just need to as my mom some questions, ok? Its hard to explain but i promise it will make everything better, ok? But you have to go back and tell Daddy i'm gonna go talk to my mom....ok? I won't be gone long." She nuzzled him lightly. "Please...do this for me...I need your help." Lady said lightly. She had to talk to her mom about taking care of a blind child...and she desparetly wanted to see her mom....

Deja nuzzled her back and looked up at her, blinking a few times. "Okay mommy. I'll try to help", he nodded. "But hurry cause Leda and Sari will miss you too." The colt turned and started trotting back the way he came, stumbling a few times since he still wasn't used to his legs.

Lady smiled and trotted off, heading towards where her father was last to ask him if he knew where her mother was. She sighed lightly as she walked, thinking. She gulped thinking about what just happened. She had seriously gone to kill herself. Silently she thanked her son…he had saved her life and she was eternally grateful to him for that. As she made her way a slight splath of color caught her eye traveling away from here towards the mountains. She blinked and followed. “Excuse me!” she called, something telling her to ask this mare if she knew where her mother was. “Excuse me, I was wondering have you seen a mare about named Tie…”
The mare stopped and turned, reconiseing her daughters voice. “Lady? Lady what are you doing so far from your father or Draumr’?” she asked, then blinked. She hadden’t been making any noise…how…
“Mom?” Lady stopped and stared before her eyes clouded. “Mother…I found you! I really did! Oh mother you are beautiful….” She quickly walked up and nuzzled her. “Mother I have to talk with you…Me and Draumr’ had foals…and oh I wish you could see them, they are so beautiful mother…But Sari…one of our daughters…she’s blind…” Lady looked away. “Mother I need your help…I don’t know what to do…I don’t think I will be able to see forever…and Draumr’ can’t handle two blind mares to care for…Mom I’m so scared and worried and confused.” She began to cry again.
Tie, stunned into silent, just held the younger mare close. “Shhhh….shhh….Everything will be ok sweetheart. I promise.” She thought for a few moments. “Listen, it won’t be easy, but if your daughter is anything like you she will learn quickly and will understand that no matter what she is loved…Just be there for her and everything will be ok…I promise.” She said. She sighed afterward. Her she was comforting her daughter while she was just on her way to be with that Demon again…But techinally she had walked out…She shook her head, no time to be thinking about that. “Everything will be ok.”
Lady smiled softly at her mother. “Thank you mom….thank you so much…and you really are so beautiful…better then I ever imagined.” She closed her eyes and basked in the feeling of being beside her mother like she used to as a foal. “I really should go back, Deja was so upset when I told him I was going to go…and Leda and Sari will be missing me and Draumr’ is probably worried” she giggled lightly.
Tie smiled and nodded. “Yeah, you go ahead and get back. I’ll see you late sweetheart.” She said before she turned back towards the mountains and galloped off.
Lady smiled and turned, heading back.
