Okay. I've been wondering about this for a while. Origionally, I thought that he'd had the eye put out and they just didn't show it in the series. Or they did and I just missed it... O_o
Then I watched the movie (in Japanese) and he said something about his seeing bad things with that eye or something like that anyway...
So did he really lose it, or is it just a metaphorcial/regret thing?

That's a really good question. I have wondered the same thing for a long time now. In the last episode of Fullmetal Alchemist before the movie in his fight with Pride he seemed to still have his eye. Possibly it got injured in the gunshot wound later on? He did have the patch after his fight though in the very end of the series so I think he did damage his eye. I have no clue though. I hope someone can answer this because I would like to know 3nodding

xwishfulthinkerx That's a really good question. I have wondered the same thing for a long time now. In the last episode of Fullmetal Alchemist before the movie in his fight with Pride he seemed to still have his eye. Possibly it got injured in the gunshot wound later on? He did have the patch after his fight though in the very end of the series so I think he did damage his eye. I have no clue though. I hope someone can answer this because I would like to know 3nodding Im pretty sure that his eye was injured when Archer shot him, right at the end of the series. You were right, he did have his eye at the end of his fight with Pride. Its too bad that they didnt show him getting shot!!

Mustang had already been shot.

Mustang had already been shot. Yeah from what I saw Mustang was already down on the ground. Who knows though he might not have even gotten shot at all. Perhaps he was just really tired from his big fight earlier and Hawkeye managed to shoot Archer before he could do anything to Mustang.
