Kizalia had a tingling urge to go exploring. It grew in her over the weeks that she stay in the den with her mother and siblings. As she woke this morning, it was overpower and she immediately started to wander, but not too far, from the den.
The morning was cloudy and then sun didn't fell warm like it had on mornings before. Kizalia trodded slowly over warn ground looking for insects or anything that she might be able to chase and amuse herself with. Settling with a brown toad that lay calmly in the shadow of a rock, she poked at it and waited for it to spring away. When it didn't, she continued her search.
She stopped walking, hopped onto and plopped herself down on a relatively large boulder. She was bored. Why was there nothing to do when you didn't have siblings around to bother or bugs to chase? She gave a quiet sigh and lay down on the boulder, closing her eyes.
((I wasn't sure who you were going to useee... soo just throw someone out there!! 8DD))

Rengo yawned as he strowled through the grasses, tail flicking back and forth. His pink 'mane' gently swept into his eyes and he shook it out again, glancing toward the sky. Curious, there was a slight breeze in the Kusini lands today. He smiled slightly and brought his gaze down again. Just in time to spot the small cub. "Eh..." He said out loud, surprised and entertained. Someone not part of his family? At least, he didn't think she was.
"Hello there~ heart " he called out, his voice pleasent and his whole posture playful.

A cheerful sound caught her ears. Opening her eyes and scanning the area around her for another creature, she spotted a mainly dark lion, with a lighter toned stomach and salmon colored mane and tail. She stood, stretched and hopped down from her resting place, adding an interested giggle and "Hallo!"
As she walked a few paces closer to where he stood, she noticed that she definitely had never met this lion, and she became a bit alarmed by her own eagerness to speak with him. Nonetheless, however, she smiled and continued forward.

Oh good! A friendly lion his age, and not one of those bothersome downies! His tail flicked and he puffed out his chest slightly, the grin never leaving his face. "I assume you're a member of this pride? M'names Mirengo'Kauta... but you can call me Rengo if it pleases!" He winked, moving toward her and then he moved in a full circle around her, sitting. "And what's your name?"

Kizalia plopped down, and continued smiling. "Well, Rengo, I'm Kizalia'buga. But my family calls me Kiza or Kizalia." She gave him an authoritative nod. "I am a member. Well my parents are. Or atleast mommy."
She wasn't quite sure about anything these days, and wasn't sure if she could trust this male for one thing. She was acting a bit cautious, as she knew about what happened to her mother, her being abducted by the Firekin, and this male's colors were of no help to her "I hope he's a good guy" campaign.

Rengo blinked and nodded. "Kiza." He repeated slowly. Ah and so she wasn't very sure of her family's status in these lands? Well it didn't bother him one way or the other, he didn't own this pride (even if his family did).
"Oh, sometimes we get rogues running through. They are very interesting, usually. Have you ever met a rogue?" He said, trying to make polite conversation.

Kiza tilted her head curiously, a strong shiver running through her spine. "No, I have not met a rogue... But I'm interested now. What're they like?" She wasn't sure of the answer she would receive, and was honestly a bit frightened. Were these areas not safe like her mother had claimed?
Scratching behind her ear, she observed the male more. He didn't have any of the usual Firekin signs, except his color. He was friendly enough and he was on these lands. As she contemplated this a bit more she realized her doubts were silly. "Ugh, how ridiculous..." she spoke under her breath.

Rengo grinned, tail flicking back and forth. "Uuuhm, well I've only bumped into friendly rogues. Just lions passing by with no land to call home... travelers, if you will. They all have many stories about different lands and places and other lions! It's all very interesting... er, well for me at least. I think I would like to travel the world one day you see."
His head tilted and he frowned just slightly, ears twitching. "Ah... what, may I ask, is ridiculous?"

Kiza was startled that he had heard what she had muttered. Eyes wide, she slowly replied, "Well, uhh. You see, I thought that..." She gulped, gotta say it now or sound like a fool. "I thought you were a firekin and I spent that last few minutes contemplating whether to stay and chat with you or run for my life and never look back."
She loked down at the ground, slightly embarrassed. Her paws itched so she rubbed them against the ground, dirt crumbling between claws and toes. She was about to continue this chat, as to why she believed this, but left it at that. Might as well keep my shunning to a minimum for the day, eh?
