Why Halo thar. 8D
I'm Tanalilt, better known as Kyoko or Katie to those who know me quite well.
I'm 15, a Sophomore in a highschool in Michigan, which means I'm surrounded by rednecks and emo kids, and the sports department gets more attention than the arts. I'm an aspiring comic book artist, but by the looks of it, I'll more than likely end up working as a prop master in theatre, given the fact that I've been in charge of plays and prop master for at least three in the last year.
Due to the fact that I'm prop master so often, I have a rather busy work schedule, but there are some weekends where everything's squared away, the props are all finished, there's no homework to be seen, and I just have nothing to do. Those are the nights when I need things to draw.
Current loves as of now? House, Metal Gear Solid, Otacon (Hal Emmerich), geeks in general, Guys with glasses, Star Wars, Gorillaz, Muse, OCs, characters with colour, Victorian clothing, Godchild/Count Cain, House/Wilson, Scarecrow (Batman), Snake/Otacon.And more, if I search my brain enough.
How to get drawn:
Give me an interesting avatar.
Give me specifics.
Show me OCs with wonderful designs.
Offer an Art Trade.
Appeal to my fandoms (as listed above)
Be nice, and stay around and chat. 8D
Don't beg.
See? Not all that difficult. Just be nice, and everyone gets along fine. 8D

Oh cool! I live in Michigan too... I don't run across a lot of people on Gaia that live there too. sweatdrop

I've only met one person other than my group of friends (And you) that's on here and lives in Michigan. XD We've just gotten a HUGE blizzard, had school canceled today and everything. The entire area around Grand Rapids has been out.

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Gorillaz. *laughs* They seem to have taken over my inspiration as of late in all forms, including my cooking. (Damn 6 batches of swan-shaped scones. Should have never listened to that interview)
I'll take a look at the contest. It sounds interesting. 8D
As for drawing, I'm out for tonight - I might actually have school tomorrow. If I don't, then rest assured I'll likely doodle ya out somethin'.

Also, that little top banner is insanely cute. I'm a bit fickle with fandoms. Tend to go from one thing to another rather quickly and not have any clue why. The last few weeks it's been Gorillaz, and before that it was Destroy All Humans. *laughs* Scones are good~! 8D *laughs* Thanks. I love it, too. Because... then you probably live in Kent county... And I live in Ottawa county pretty close to Lake Michigan. ...ARE WE COUNTY NEIGHBORS??? (...You don't have to answer that, I'm just being weird.)

It's still spiffy. I've never met anyone online who lives so close to me. It's kinda creepy. XD I've met two people on Gaia today who live in Michigan, and within 50 miles of me. It's a record~!
