((RP for Demyx to teach Lexaeus a lesson. >3 Well, the title explains it all.))

Lexaeus was engaged in his usual post-training brooding session. Sitting on a large rocky outcropping over the ocean was a particularly good spot for brooding, the lapping of the waves and distant calling of seabirds was a peaceful alternate to the silence of the castle and grounds. He could think here, assured he wouldn't be disturbed by other organization members to reach the item on the tallest shelf, or help move the furniture when something gets lost behind a couch, or carry someone's large object up a flight of stairs. He would return to the castle eventually, but for the moment he was content to sit and think.

Of course, another member of his Organiation also liked to use the beach as a place to relax. Though Demyx's choice of relaxation was not sitting quietly, but rather playing in his favorite element. Today, the young sitarist had figured out the joys of a splash landing, and was now continously diving out of the air simply to land in the water.

Giggling childishly, Demyx surfaced after his most recent dive into the ocean. Treading water for the time being, the water mage was unaware of the nearby silent giant.

Lexaeus didn't so much as flinch at the first peace-shattering splash, but he did turn is head to regard the giggling second in command as he went about his fun. The activity appeared totally pointless, Demyx seemed incapable of getting out of the water without giggling and splashing back into it. He had heard rumors about the organization member, but this behaviour was even more odd than he would have expected.

Most would find it pointless. In fact most found whatever he did to be rather pointless. But, at least the sitarist was keeping himself occupied instead of bothering the hell out of everyone else. For that the rest of the Organization was sure to be thankful.

Rising out of the water once more, Demyx did a few flips in the air before promptly diving back into the ocean. It wasn't long before he could be heard giggling again.

Lexaeus tried to ignore the smaller heartless and resume his brooding, but it was near impossible with all that splashing and giggling. Even his intense training and focus couldn't keep the happy little noises from intruding into his awareness. Perhaps he would have to find some other place to train and brood, telling Demyx to leave was against his nature.

Unfortunately for Lex, Demyx's next trip into the air allowed the youth to spot him. For a moment the sitarist hovered in air, head tilted and seemingly thinking over whether or not to approach. Several nervous flits later, and the blonde zipped over to hover closer to Lex.

"Um...hi! Whatcha doin?"

Demyx couldn't remember a time when he had actually tried to hang around Lexaeus. The guy was well...huge. And kinda creepy. Yet at the same time having such a big friend could be good, yes?

Lexaeus watched Demyx the entire time, mildly impressed by the small one's timid bravery. Or maybe it was just sheer foolishness. But either way, it wasn't often others would approach him due to his intimidating looks. He was almost unsure of how to react. Perhaps answering the little nobody's question would be a good start.

"... Thinking."

He continued to watch without so much as a minute change in expression or posture, waiting for a reaction.

"About what?"

Demyx flitted a bit more, apparently trying to find a place to land without bothering Lex. Soon enough, Demyx had settled down on the ground and folded his wings behind him.

"Is it like...Organization stuff? Or other stuff?"

Lexaeus eyed the small blonde. Was there some reason for all the questions, or was he just being curious? Maybe that was why Saix chose the little one for his second in command, you couldn't tell if he had a hidden agenda. Lexaeus remained expressionless. "... Stuff." He agreed simply, the casual word sounding odd coming from his mouth.

"What kiiiiiiind of stuff?"

For once Demyx seemed rather relaxed, and the questions simply kept flowing.

"I mean, I was out here playing. You're just sitting on a rock. Don't you want to have fun or something? Sitting on a rock doesn't seem like fun..."

The kid couldn't have been putting any calculated thought into his questions, it sounded too much like babbling to really be prying for real answers. This certainly wasn't any plot worked up by their new leader, it was too simple. The little blonde seemed too innocent for the job of second in command, but the last second in command hadn't been able to hold the organization together, so maybe innocent would do better.

He chose to disregard the first question, since his thoughts didn't follow any kind of order easily described in his usual short and to the point sentances. "Fun isn't the purpose." He said to the small angelic one. The sentance wasn't spoken unkindly, just said to communicate rather than express.

"Why? Fun stuff is...ya know....fun? You should try having fun! You could play with me if you wanted!"

Beaming up at the other, Demyx's tails happily swished behind him. Sure, Lex was big and kinda scary, but he didn't seem so bad! And if he coud get the other to have fun then maybe he wouldn't be so eerily quiet all the time.

Lexaeus got to his feet, now simply towering over the little blonde. He hadn't needed any source of 'fun' to exist and be content, but Demyx seemed sincere enough, and there would be no going back to his thinking while the small one was around. Briefly he wondered if this offer to have fun was actually an order. Demyx was allowed to do that since he was second in command now, but Lexaeus supposed such an order had potential to be more... rewarding than simply moving furniture.

"Okay." He said, in his usual unelaborative tone.

"Yay!"

The youth bounded to his feet. For a brief moment he stared up at Lexaeus in stunned silence, but soon enough he was dancing about happily again.

"Can we go swimming? I like swimming! Wait.......do you know how to swim?"

Cautiously, Demyx reached out a hand to poke at the other.

Lexaeus stared down at the poking, but he didn't have to do anything to be intimidating. He wasn't sure if he even wanted to be intimidating around the small heartless. He just was.

The giant thought over Demyx's last question for a second before replying. "... No." At least he didn't think he knew how to swim, he couldn't remember ever trying even though he spent so much time on that rocky outcropping over the ocean.
