I was watching Transformers: The Movie for the umpteenth time yesterday, and enjoying my favorite part as usual - when Optimus Prime runs over several Decepticons, soars into the sky and shoots several more. The first time I saw the movie, when I was only 8 or so, I loved that part, and to this day I still get goose bumps when I see it.
So, I was wondering, does anyone else have any Transformers memories like that - ones so strong and enjoyable they produce physical responses? Whether it be getting a new toy or a scene from an episode or the movie.

My favorite moment was when Megatron of Beast Wars featured the recording of the original Megatron. However, I wish that Frank Welker was available for recording and he just done it without a huge amount of payment.

Cheesy as it may sound, the ending of the animated movie . . . when the matrix reformats Hot Rod into Rodimus. Not so much the moment of his ascention as the voice of Prime telling him to do so. Hearing prime calling always sends a shiver up my spine in a good way. Blessed be Peter Cullen!!!

Honestly, I'd have to say it's a toss-up between Rodimus' ascention, Prime running over pedestrians (a.k.a. Decepticons), or getting my first toy after Dad came home from work (he bought it for me)
incidently, my first toy was Rodimus Prime.

I remember a day when me and my RPG group were getting together, and even though we all wanted to play . . . somebody had the TF movie on the TV and we all sat mesmerized by the movie. For instance there was a malicious cackle at Springer's line "I have better things to do tonight than die."
And as now lives in our minds, the fact of when Prime transformed, literally leaping into the air to snipe down three Decepticons in mid-flight, the comment was made about Prime not having used Jump Jets before. My brother literally turned on the non-believer and said "He's Optimus Prime, dammit. He can do anything!!!"
