Tarantulas
From the wonderful world of Wikipedia!
Tarantula, just the word itself conjures images of large hairy spiders, crawling all over the place. Just waiting to strike.
Contrary to what most people think, tarantulas are quiet and can be very good pets because of their large size. They can come in a variety of sizes, ranging from 1' long with 3' long legs, to 4' long with 8' long legs. Most are brown or black, while some species can have more exotic colorings.
The males of the spiecies tend to be smaller than the femlaes and will usually have shorter lifespans.
The hair on tarantula's bodies are for protection. The tarantula will flick the hair onto their enemy and it will cause irritaion. They can be used for othe means, like marking territory or to line their webs. Depending on the species the hairs can be lethal or just an annoyance.
Tarantulas are nocturnal hunters and kill their prey by injecting venom through their fangs. Tarantulas hunt their prey using traps in the ground, not by using a web like spiders. They use silk threds to detect movement then strike if the prey is the right size. Their kills are rarely sloppy.
Tarantula's will live in burrows that are either pre-made or they will make a new one. The nest is lined with silk and a webbed rim is made at the enterance to conceal it. Some Tarantulas will make their nests in tree bark or under rocks.
Tarantulas can be good pets because of their large size and quiet nature. They are clean animals and have no detectable odor. they are very docile and are a good pet for children. The two most common species are the Chilean rose tarantula and the mexican redknee tarantula. They are very friendly and will have a habit of relaxing in people's hands when calm.

Hey! If you want to reserve this just let me know and I delete and repost it.
It would be a good idea to choose a speices of taraula as there are so many species, such as the one I'm questing for is a red kneed, another quester is going for a goliath bird eating spider smile And also if the serum will be anthro (the normal serum), taur or nonmorphic.
