 This is the journal of Daichi and Nauticah, a Kybernetik and Caretaker from the shop Kybernetika. It is to serve as a record of their experiences together.
Please do not post here unless you are Nauticah, the Kybernetika Shop mule, or have Nauticah's permission.

I rebooted this journal for a few reasons. One, a key player in the story will no longer be participating. You can figure out for yourself who that is.
It's partially due to a change in relationship, a change in my life, and simply just not wanting to fool with the issue any more. Also the previous journal was messy, and it had gotten so messy in fact that it wasn't working out so well.
Maybe with this new journal, Daichi will have a chance to grow. :)

Nauticah is free spirited, hard-headed, and a little rough around the edges; but in general an okay person to be around. She grew up in Durem, only recently moving to the beach front districts alongside her friend Silverah due to some "disagreements" with a particular group back in Durem. The preceding may be linked to the reason why she's constantly changing her appearance.
Nauti, as some of her friends call her, is known for being outgoing and friendly, for the most part. 'The most part' declaring she has ill will towards ignorance and pointless stupidity. Oddly enough, for her to be so outgoing and truthful about things, she's rather quiet about her past.
...or why she has so many weapons, and they look a little too sharp just to be decoration.
She adopted Daichi for a few reasons, mainly due to the fact Nauti wanted to turn over a new leaf, and what better to do that then have a new family, aside from Zwart and Gwyn.
Now all she has to worry about is the wellbeing of Daichi, and the day her past comes back to haunt her.

Kybernetika
Codename Mischief
Two M.O, appears 5 Y.O.
Daichi is the robotic toddler adopted by Nauticah, particularly he is a Kybernetika codenamed Mischief. Since her new neighbor and long-time friend Silverah adopted a Kybernetika, Nauticah figured a new start for her would be to adopt one herself.
Daichi seems to have a strong pull to athletics, moreso than most children, at least. Interestingly enough, he's rather strong and accurate with almost any sport he picks up. He prefers football (both versions!) overall, though baseball comes directly after that.
Nauticah's still wondering why he was codenamed "Mischief".
Zwart and Gwyn ·
Coco and Kiki cats, respectively
1.5 Y.O. and 1 Y.O., respectively
Zwart and Gwyn, the ying and yang of plushie catdom. Yes, they are stuffed plushes who somehow came home, and instantly came to life. Zwart she purchased, and Gwyn was given to her by a close friend, Blue.
Zwart is the mischievous black cat you would simply expect out of a Coco. He's snarky, witty, loud, hyper, the typical cause of mayhem and will usually make you blush with embarrasment. His ethics are always in question, and he typically carries a spork to 'fend off' any 'yuppies'; in short Zwart's insane but you can't help but love him. Really. He's severely popular among Nauticah's friends.
Gwyn is the physical and usually mental opposite of Zwart, as the kiki are. He's witty as well, even a slight bit snarky but usually only with Zwart. He's rather intellectual, and he seems more like a proper Persian than just a Kiki cat. Usually, if Zwart is causing utter chaos, poor Gwyn is trying to fix it. On most occasions, he will go with the old saying: "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em".

Nauticah's rather sarcastic friend who's Kybernetika, Darsais, is now pretty much the same age as her owner is. They've known each other since before Silverah towered over Nauticah's 5' 2" height, which could be why most of their conversations include poking fun at each other.

So few know, and so few will know, of Nauticah's past. It's quite pointless, honestly, to even ponder any ideas about it, because most will be too far from the truth. At the moment, we needn't not worry of Nauticah's past, but rather, how she came to own Daichi.
Silvy, Nauticah's probably only friend in these parts of Gaia, adopted her Kybernetika, Darsais. For some insane reason, not much later Nauticah went and purchased a chip. This chip would soon get his body, and be known from thereon as Daichi, not Mischief as his codename had been.
Zwart and Gwyn both approved of this without issue, as another human in the household might be a good thing for their troubled owner. A good thing hopefully Daichi will be, otherwise...
Well one could only imagine.
