He'd hidden from Zoe for a week after she'd decided to lock him in the fridge. He hadn't liked it at all and he never wanted to be that cold again. He espically didn't want to be that cold again since the stupid red head, who just had to be bigger than him, liked cold and had latched onto him for ten minuets after he'd been let out.
He didn't like the red head, Cian called him Jiro, since he couldn't every say what he wanted him to say. No, he had to go and say whatever he was thinking and ignore that it might have annoyed him.
Sighing he poked as the grape he'd been given to nibble on and hunched down on the pillow he'd perched on. Maybe if he was lucky no one would bother him and he could have a bit of peace.
He knew James was mad at him so he'd decided it was better to stay out of his way. His 'brother' had a pretty mean arm with that umbrella he had and he didn't want to get hit with it again. So he stayed where he was sitting under a candle holder on the entertainment center and watched the purple one huff.
James said there were more like them in the house but he'd avoided them so far. He wasn't sure he wanted to meet more people like James. One of those was enough. Though James had said that one of the other ones got on his nerves so maybe they weren't all like his brother.

The loft was, all in all, quite quiet. The larger feline had taken the smaller feline out and the tall man as somewhere. His Lady was resting and he? Well, he had been having what he had considering an intelligent talk with Edwyn about the state of Avalon, but something in their conversation had changed which found them strolling out of Blithe's bedroom into the living room.
"So you truly believe we're lacking an adventure?"
"Yes, I do." He nodded, silver locks spilling down over his shoulders as he did so. "Afterall, most kingdoms do something other than sit around chatting. Shouldn't we be... Well, doing something to see to it that our kingdom grows and prospers? We can't very well do that just sitting around, can we?"
"No. I suppose you're right." His brow furrowed slightly, wings giving a light flutter behind him. Edwyn did bring about a few good points... But what could two Feien do to expand their empire when their empire was contained to a small castle in a room that no one ever entered?
"Maybe we should recruit."

He heard the sounds of the other two who lived in the house and cringed. Of course they were going on about silly adventures again. Taking another bite of his grape he shifted on is pillow and hoped they wouldn't notice him. He'd be much happier if they'd stop trying to build a 'kingdom' in the creepy girls room.
Hearing voices he sat up straighter and looked out over the living room. So James had been right and there were more of their kind in the house. Well it was about time that he stopped hiding and show himself to the others. Standing up he eyed his surroundings wondering how he was going to get down. Zoe had put him up here and while he liked it he wasn't sure it was all that smart now.
Scrunching his nose he tapped his foot against the wood of the entertainment center and crossed his arms. He hadn't figured out that flying thing like James had so that was out of the question.

"Recruit?" He seemed to ponder that in silence for a moment before shaking his head once more. "No. No, recruiting wouldn't work... But we do need to broaden our horizons. Explore new territories. Expand our influences."
"You sound like you have some sort of plan, Edwyn." And while that plan sounded interesting there was a part of him that felt very uneasy about it all. Upholding a kingdom was one thing... It sounded almost as if the other Feien was planning a crusade.
"I might." He did. He had several plans, each one requiring something else to progress... But he was patient. Patience, afterall, was a virtue and it wouldn't do to get overexcited.

He looked up at Jiro as the other feien stood up. Don't. Please don't. They're going to lecture me again and i don't want to hear it If the stupid red head got their attention he was going to find away to lock him in the fridge himself.
Looking around he eventually spotted a few small glittery things. Little beads that had fallen off some fake fruit. Perfect. Crawling up to where the beads were he picked one up. Maybe if he could hit one of them they'd notice and could help him get down.
Lobbing one of the small beads toward the two new, or new to him, feien he hoped that it got their attention. Whatever they were talking about sounded interesting and he wanted to talk to them.

The bead didn't hit him, persay, but it did land close enough to his foot to cause him to start. "Who goes there?" He called out, pale blue eyes scanning the living room in the direction that the bead had come from.
He didn't seemed phased by the sudden appearance of the bead. They were, afterall, in the territory of that mouthy Feien. Enemy territory. "This could be a good place to start broadening our horizons, Alaw. Keep your eyes open. I've heard the natives are hostile.

"I am not hostile!" He huffed and plunked the last bit of his grape on his lap. How dare they say that when he hadn't even done anything. Jiro wasn't 'native' he was just annoying and he was the one throwing things.
"You are too hostile. If you weren't then the little cat wouldn't stuff you in places where you couldn't make noise"

"I don't know if I'd call him hostile, Edwyn. It's a very, very large leap between hostile and vocal." His brow furrowed slightly as his gaze shifted from the source of the voice he was able to hear more clearly to the other voice... The one he hadn't heard before. "I also don't believe we've met before. Are you friend or foe?"
"Foe until proven friend. How many times must I tell you that, Alaw?" He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth to make a soft 'tsk' sound. He was more entertained than displeased though, even if there was little difference between the two as far as his expressions went. "It seems like the natives are arguing amongst themselves. It may not be hard to spread our influence through this territory."

He stuffed the last bite of his grape in his mouth and stood up. He really was starting to dislike Edwyn more. How come he always had to talk like he was right and why he always had to explain things. If only someone would tell HIM to hush rather than always telling him to.
"I am neither friend nor Foe." He eyed the other two. "Since i don't know either of you i can not make that distinction so i remain neutral" That worked. Simple, to the point, and it was the truth.

"Neutral is good. It isn't necissarily aligned towards us, but it is good. For now." At least the dark Feien wasn't an enemy. One of those was enough for the loft. He'd deal with James in time anyways. All in due time.
He didn't care for that odd tone in Edwyn's voice... Or that calm mask that had overtaken his face. He wasn't afraid of Edwyn. No, he knew the other Feien too well for that... But only a fool wouldn't be cautious around the silver knight.
He took a step forward, leaving Edwyn to stare down James who was strangely silent. He tilted his head in the direction of the crimson Feien. "I am Alaw of Avalon and this is Lord Edwyn who seeks worlds greater than our own."

He stared right back at Edwyn. He wasn't going to be called an 'enemy' or whatever they were going on about. It was his home too. Well most of it was. They hid in their little castle in the weird room they rest of the house was his.
"I am Jiro, i don't have a 'off' attached." He tilted his head in a slight bow. They spoke strangely but at least they weren't as loud or annoying as James.

Loud? Heavens no. It wasn't proper to be that loud. Especially not in company when one was trying to make a good impression. "Despite the lack of words from my companion, it is, most certainly, our pleasure to meet you, Jiro."
He snorted softly but that sound was more of a laugh than anything else... As close to a laugh as he'd gotten since emerging from his bloom. "Well I'll be damned. Alaw, it seems as though I've found a way to keep James from talking. All you have to do is keep your eyes on him and his mouth stays shut... Or silent, at least." Was that a smirk curving the corners of his lips?

His chest puffed. "How dare you! It takes more than a measly brat like you staring at me to keep me quiet!" If it wouldn't have annoyed someone he'd have beat the stupid curly haired freak with his umbrella and been done with it.
"I think the only way to keep him quiet is to have his mouth otherwise occupied." He chuckled slightly "It is a pleasure to meet you also Alaw"

"Behold! It speaks." James didn't phase him. Not in the least. The other Feien's loud antics might have bothered others but he chose to let them roll over his wings as if they were nothing... Which they were. Nothing, that is.
He brought a hand up to his mouth, coughing softly in hopes of interrupting the rant without becoming a part of it. Did James have no decency? Did Edwyn truly have to bait him knowing he didn't?
He spread his wings, giving them a little flutter before taking to the air. It would be far easier to talk to the darker Feien if they were on the same levels... And he truly didn't wish to be standing next to Edwyn when James decided to start throwing things even if he should be inclined to defend another Avalonian.
Landing carefully a few steps away from the other Feien he bowed, flashing Jiro a bright smile as he stood. "Much better."

He would have thrown something were anything in reach. Glaring at Edwyn he walked off his pillow and fluttered over to his coffee table where he stashed his umbrella. "You come up here and say that!"
He watched Alaw joined him. Yes, he was certainly going to have to learn how to do that. "Does he have to bait James like that? I would think that he knows it's only going to make James yell more."
