This documentary was actually shown on TV a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to watching it-- it's by far one of the most sobering and depressing things I've seen in a while, but I highly recommend it anyway. Basically, it got me thinking on a few things, so I thought it would be interesting to get some other opinions here. It's rather silly to ask why everybody hates us, as there's near infinite reasons to list, but why do you think it has started up again now?
So...some ideas for discussion (and these are far from limits)
-What, if anything, do you think can be practically be done to help lower Anti-Semitism?
-What do you think will happen in the near future with the ever increasing rise of anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist movemnets?
- What, if anything, separates anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli thought?
-Do you think there will be another Holocaust?
etc.
Oh, and a question for anybody who knows it: Where the heck did the idea that Jews perform blood rites on innocent children to use in matza come from?!

It hasnt started up again, its always been there, and I dont think anything can really be done to lower anti-semitism because the causes for it are completely false and idiotic, and as long as there are idiots there will anti-semites.
The only thing I can see that worries me about an increased anti-semitic/anti-zionist/anti-israel movement is Iran, with its nuclear ambitions and constant threats towards Israel. I can really see Israel possibly striking at Iran first, accidentally killing civilians, and then having the whole world turn their backs on Israel like always (because, you know, the world seems to have this idea that civilians are somehow going to be always safe from war) and then that would give Iran reason to go full crazy radical Islamic jihad on Israel. sad

Honestly, I don't know where to begin. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have such a dislike and absolute disgust of any sort of prejudice and racism that I can not help but sometimes lose my temper. So it's only natural, with my love of my religion and passionate dislike of prejudice that anti-semitism should have it's only little section of pain in my heart.
I nearly laughed out loud (cynically of course) as I sat in Hebrew school this past Wednesday and I watched a news story that my rabbi had taped the night before. DO any of you know what the new theory for 9/11 is?!

They are BLAMING the Jews! AGAIN! Do you believe that?! One man even said that he didn't even believe that Alkaida existed.
The sad thing is, I'm not surprised at all. I do not think that Anti-semitism is anywhere close to coming to an end. But we can work towards it, even if it's only a little by little. For example, whenever I am confronted, or overhear a stereotype or anti-semetic comment, I immediately approach the person and confront the about it, usually trying to correct their view or express my concern.
People can also take more active forms, and get more involved. For example, one of my peers took down the names of one of those people who was considered on the "Zionist plot" and was going to email him about it. Even if the guy doesn't reply, we're still trying,. and for now, that's all we can do, is to try to correct people's views and educate others, and work towards a more peaceful prejudice and racist free world.

You forgot to mention the part where they said no Jews died, and they all took that day off work. rolleyes (Even though 10% of the casualities were Jewish- it is New York.)

I don't think there will ever be another Holocaust, at least not in America or Europe. Which is hard for me to say.
I see what's going on in Iran, and I worry so much for Israelis, especially Jewish Israelis. Nothing is being done to stop this douche, and it makes me angry. Not that I don't think Israel can handle itself, but there is already so much anti semitism in Israel, from what I understand.
I do know if there was ever another Holocaust, I would be kicking some a**...

I was watching this video about Zionists or something, and he seemed really chummy towards them all... He doesn't really talk about Persian Jews though, just blowing Israel out of exsistence. And then theres comon sence ones like, lots of Jews expect there to be no hatred on them, but their aloud to hate everything else that isnt Jewish. Their will always be Anti Jew, anti Zionist, the sad truth, you can tell yourself they'll be peace in the future but be realistic, there wont be. That you have to ask someone who lives in Israel lol There can't be another holocaust, Jews have to much power in the world to let that happen, plus if the idea where to come up, im shure Israel would step in.

I actually watched a movie about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and people actually think no Jews were killed on 9/11. That the Elders were the ones who hit those towers in order to try to make money or some crazy nonsense like that, and told all the Jewish people employed at the World Trade Center to stay home.
Of course skin heads and Arabs (some) are taking on this theory, because they're too busy with their heads up their asses to get the facts.
The movie talks about other things as well, and it's really interesting. It's about 1 1/2 hours long, and I can get the link if anyone wants it.
