Can I pick three??????? It's been hot, humid and rainy here!!!!!!

Just HOT here in CA. Once the sun starts to set, we can feel the ocean breeze. Can't wait for that to happen. It's been in the 80's. I'm even missing work. (AC) Now you know it's hot.

I wish it was in the 80's. We have it in the 90's and it's so humid. I really wish we could get some rain to bring down the humidity. We had a storm on Tuesday but not enough to bring it down. It just made it worse.

I would have to pick two. HOT and DRY. Yesterday it hit 99, according to weather.com, but Vegas is such a big city, that can vary both cooler and warmer in different parts of the city. Blech. I dislike summer greatly. I'll be happy when monsoon season hits, and we get storm after storm to help break up the monotony of heat, as well as cooling things down a bit.

Then again, I am also feeling a bit lucky. This is AWFULLY cool for late June! The record high for yesterday was 115. Thank goodness we aren't that hot! But OY, it says tomorrow is supposed to be 108! Ugh. Hey Nibbles... I'd rather have YOUR kind of hot! I am definitely a coastal sort of gal! When eighties is considered hot, I'm in heaven. We used to live just inland of Monterey. What bliss! But where hubby worked (a PG&E office), when it hit 80, everyone was complaining and panting and fearing heat stroke! And THEN hubby's boss brought in popsicles and passed them around as a sort of emergency cool-down! OH how I LAUGHED! It's not that I'm trying to make fun of the discomfort of others, but when I was used to having to walk home from school in well over 100 temps, 80 was a piece of cake, hehe!

::hugs Nibbles:: How about sending some of your hot weather my way? ::smiles:: Or maybe I should arrange to come visit you for the rest of summer! WHile at my parent's house up north of ya, it was in the 70s and 80s the entire time... my son got chilled beause he was wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts, lol!

dont feel bad....i had togo and buy another a/c....this one just isnt cutting it...my stepdad is spose to come by this weekend to put it in...thank goodness...that way we can take the old one out and put in another room to circulate the air....and i would love to have 80 degree weather right now..this 90-100 degree stuff jsut isnt cutting it gonk ....dreams of the perfect weather cool
