How to Play:

*Most of the RP is free action, but I will have a dice system that I will call on for you or myself to roll on Gaia. If you do not know hwo to use the dice system, ask a mod or someone who does. If the dice system is down, then I'm hoping I have trust worthy players who can roll the dice at home and tell me in ((OOC)) what they rolled. If you feel like you have to cheat you are onlt ruining it for yourself.

Each die and each number has soemthing different happen:

Dice System:

D20s: # of Zombies that MAY attack you.

Ex: If I roll a 1 on a D20, then there will only be one zombie that atatcks you. If I roll a 20, then 20 zombies attack.

D6: Good and Bad things can happen.

1- Dead End
2- "Wet" floor
3- Locked Door
---------------------Zombies attack when bad things happen.
4- Food/First Aid
5- Hiding Place
6- Weapon/Ammo
---------------------Zombies may or may not attack when good things happen.

Weapon Damage:

*Depending on the weapon, depends on the amount of damage.

Unarmed: Nothing but the automatic +1 (Forehead, fists, legs, elbow, etc.)

Improvised Weapon: +1 (This can consist of a chair, table, potted plant, body parts, etc.)

Melee: +2 (This consists of a baseball bat, pipes, swords, butt of a gun, etc.)

Firearms: +3 (Shoosting stuff. The amount of successes, depends on where you hit it.)

*The +1 is added to the end of the total.

7-6: Head wound/shot
5-4: Torso
3-2: Legs
1: Arms

Name- Christopher Roberts

Gender- Male

Description- Young-looking man, even for his age. He has short blond hair, green eyes and is always wearing a faded red baseball cap, which, though cliche, he considers lucky. He's not physically adept, nor is he too out of shape. He's kind of scrawny, but spry.

Concept- Young, spunky, ignorant cameraman.

Starting Location- The corner of Main St. and Landers Dr.

Bio-A semi-graduate of Soma City Community College (SCC) in multimedia, Roberts landed a part-time job out-of-town with an up-and-coming news station known as Rickart News, named after the president and founder, Michelle Rickart. Hoping that his near drop-out of the college would be overlooked, Roberts did his best as a camera man for the news station. Unfortunately for him, it seemed as though the news station would fail in the heated war between the popular, Chanel 12 news and the equally as daunting, Phillips News. Then, one fateful day, Rickart got an anonymous tip that something big was happening in Soma City. Due to his origins in the town, Roberts was able to worm his way into the news crew that was being sent in, rather than the more experienced cameramen. Roberts could feel it in his bones. This was the big story that would move Rickart News - and his career there - up the ladder.

Bio: Syd loves football. Sometimes he turns the current situation he is in into a football situation. EVerytime he does that he often pases the situation. He just got out of a relationship of a rather clingy girl, Katherine Hawk. She is still obsessed with him and refused to accept he is over her.

Description: Quite short at 5'2. Jemima has a short pixie cut of flaming red hair, (artificial) with dark black roots beginning to show. She has lavender eyes which are almost black. She is slender but not skinny. She runs so her legs are quite powerful but her upper body strength is very low. Jemima consistently wears a cross her parents got for her on her highschool graduation and is emotionally attached to it.
Concept: Nerdy, sarcastic undergrad student.

Bio.: A Graduate of Soma City Highschool she now commutes in and out of town from the college in the town nearby. Jemima hopes to one day become a chemist in a pharmaceutical lab one day. Because of the commute she generally keeps strange hours and finds it hard to connect and make friends, thus she usually is found at her computer at odd hours playing online mmporgs and first person shooters.

Description: A broad man, with a rather sinew build. Standing roughly 5 foot. Wide shoulders yielding only to his pale, stern face; A gift from his Irish heritage. His crystal green eyes only offset the freckles on his face, giving him an awkward look for a man his age. They seemed to age him more than they should, sitting next to his bagged eyes.
Concept: Ex-convict

Bio.: Livius wasn't a killer, though he was prone to every once in awhile. That's not crazy,... right? Perhaps after that old lady in the park, it was time for a slight break (in the maximum security prison). Too bad for them they let me out early. Oh no, it wasn't like that at all... I broke out, yeah (That's cool). The warden... er... my girl on the outside got me hooked up with this posh job at this car repair place. something about laying low until the heat was off. The boss wasn't a hard-a**, and needed ready hands. It wasn't because I wanted to, but the piece of tail was nice. Perhaps living on the edge isn't all that bad.

NPCs

Tanicea Parry- Employee of a coffee shop. She was found by Roberts in the employees backroom. She is a black woman who was working the early morning shift when chaos decided to wag it's gnarly head. Her three friends and a customer were killed (partially) before her eyes. Their living corpse's came for her and cornered her in the Employee's supply room. That was where she met Roberts.

Frank Tellson- Older brother to his little brother Joe Tellson. Thinks he can handle everything himself. He's a mechanic who works in the mechanic shop on the corner of James Street. He ran into Jamima and helped save him from being bitten by a zombie lady in the Apple street apartments.

Joe Tellson- High school guitarist. Has a pretty level, laid-back attitude. Not very good at driving vans.

Brian Costess- Soma City Police Officer. Roberts and Tanicea mat this daring fellow in the mall.

Tom White- Gun store owner. Sorta Redneckish. Friendly, ready to kick some axe. He "ran" into Syd, while Syd was making his way to his grandmothers house...no it was not over a hill and through the snow.

Mr. Greg and Mrs. Mary Fishings- They had taken shelter at the mall and are also looking for their daughter.

Martin Boyle- Bad mouthed man, who went to the mall for shelter as well. He hates zombies...can't imagine why... ninja

Lucas Clemons- Man with a gun. Roberts met up with this mysterious, yet gentle individual while making there way through the mall duct system.

The camera shook terribly as Roberts ran. He aimed the lens towards the news van, shakily jogging as he turned his head around to see what he was filming.

They had entered the city early in the morning. The streets were crowded with what seemed to be a riot. People were everywhere, bashing in the windows of cars, stumbling across the street, attacking helpless bystanders. The crew, consisting of Rickart the reporter, Bill the mic-man, and himself as the cameraman got out of the van and began teh report from a block away. Police sirens echoed down the streets, but the mass of people seemed completely oblivious. Roberts had noticed something odd about the way the people in the rot were acting. Being in control of the camera, he noticed things the other two did not - like the severed hand hanging out of somebody's mouth. Before they knew it, the riot had turned to them. Rickart was the first to go. She never saw the crowd coming as she reported. Bill was next. The overweight 25 year-old was in no condition to run, much less with the huge boom of his mic. Roberts was the fortunate one.

Finally, he reached the coffee house halfway down the block. He quickly ran in and slammed the door shut, swinging around to videotape the carnage of the 'rioters' ripping apart what was left of his boss.

"I wonder if I'll get a promotion for this."

*A faint sound, something like crying or whimpering near the 'Employees Only' and the bathroom doors.*

**You find fresh food that hasn't been touched. The pastries are still warm on their plates. Bottled water and sandwiches as well.**

*As you get closer, you're not sure if the noise is coming from the left door; the employee's only door, or the right door; the bathroom.*

Whats going on? Why did they try to attack me? Someone please help me.

*You open the door slowly, urinals line the far wall. The place looks pretty clean other than the fresh coat of blood added this morning. Standing in the far corner facing the corner appears to be a man, swaying like a willow tree. His jacket is torn and splattered with blood, his hand looked to be caked in it as well. He moans to himself. It sounds nothing like the voice you heard.*
