Aekea Arms After a year of touch-up, the Aekea Arms are finally open, and they have that new apartment smell. Half of the units have all ready been picked up, and the ultra-mod apartments filled with dome-shaped furniture are a mess of boxes and confused new tenants. The security guy at the front desk will ask you to sign in. If you refuse, he might try to shoot fireballs at you or something. Silly NPCs.

Jacknife peeked in the front door. He was menacing looking enough with all of his gear, but the security gaurd didn't seem to mind. The gaurd only tapped a pen against a notebook, a sign that Jacknife should sign in. Jacknife did so, and the gaurd was happy.

Jacknife wandered up the stairs and poked his nose into a few unoccupied rooms. It did not matter if they were locked or not. Jacknife did not care about locks usually. The appartments were pretty cool looking. They were certainly more stylish than his own appartment here in Aekea, but then again they probably cost about ten times as much.

The next room Jacknife came to was locked. He popped the lock easily and peeked into the room. Nobody was home. This appartment appeared to be actually used. He liked the tennant's choice of furnishings. A couch with a built in mini-fridge? Nice. He stepped farther into the room.

Jacknife peeked his head into the mini-fridge. Score. He reached in and grabbed a coke. The lid of the coke popped open with a hiss and Jacknife took a long swig. He reached into his pocket and slapped a five dollar bill onto the spot where the coke had been. He then vacated the appartment and wandered down the hallway, drinking his coke.
((Yawn, back to Superstealthmode!))

Gamma couldn't help but notice the whole "Marble's gone" thing. Luckily he had the pillaged recharge marble and stalwart he took from the shadow thing.
Although, he really should go back to the Fist of Power building, and buy a better one. The Stalwart made him feel less able.

[CP USED: 4] Jacknife once again became a nondescript individual. Only this time it was a nondescript individual with a coke. He decided to screw Aekea for awhile. He needed a change of surroundings. He left the arms building, heading for the city center.

Rowing gears like a madman from second into third, the car did the speed limit all the way, without stalling or breaking down.

Whatever the music was it was starting to annoy Miles.

Gamma spun the radio dial in one direction, stopping when it wasn't hissing and cracking at him. He turned at an intersection and went on his way.
