Gaia Ferry The Gambino ferry service consists of several boats or ships carrying passengers, and sometimes their vehicles, on scheduled services. Ferries have also been used to transport raw materials and goods. Ferries form a part of the public transport systems of Gambino and Barton, allowing direct transit between points at a cost much lower than bridges or tunnels.

The junked drove over the pier from which the ferry had been next to, but now it slowly pulled away. For the three murders in the car, it was almost tearful, but Gamma suddenly remembered how to drive, for a moment, and they flew off the pier. Junker and all.

The group shared a yell in unison, they were really pushing it, this wasn't from being scared, it was from awesome. Yes, awesome is that feeling you get when you ride a rollercoaster, take out a bank, run someone over, brutally chainsaw the innocents. This was another example of awesome. Landing upon a gap on the ferry with a few other cars nearby, they were safe, and were finally leaving. The boat drifted off in the distance, with them trio thankful for automobiles.

Finally, the beach! The ferry landed and they arrived at Gambino.

From the port to the boat, the small group of adventurers boarded.
Would it be a fast transition? Or would it instead be a long journey, lasting long enough to have a cutscene or two?

And so, the boat shoved off... starting on the short but memorable journey to Gambino Island. It was always an enjoyable ride, and despite everything that had happened today the scenery was just as beautiful... a few more plumes of smoke rising from fires in the city than usual. After all, a bit more destruction had happened in the last few days.
However, as he leaned up against he side of the ferry, he couldn't help but assume some sea monster was about to attack them.
This was just that kind of day.

Ulfdisa was resting against the railing staring out at the water. It was her first time traversing a body of water of this nature as she spent most of her time inland. Water as far as the eye could see, well, in some directions at least, and it was so blue. There were no worries in Disa's mind about sea monsters or smoke plumes, the sea was too beautiful for her to focus on such things. "Look at all that blue water, handsome. So cool and clear, just makes you want to swim in it."

"A-" He was about to say something, really he was... only he never got the chance. BOOM! The ordinance he had taken off of the body of that flying grenade man suddenly went up in smoke... well, smoke, fire, and shrapnel that threatened to tear a hole in the side of the ship's cabin. It seemed Tweak had pressed the button. Luckily for them, however, that was all that it took out. A bandoleer full of grenades and other bombs was definitely heavier than a piece of paper, and while on the ferry James had slumped them off on a bench near the back along with that heavy riot shield he'd been carrying, then gone off to look over the side as the ferry crossed the sea. As broken pieces of ship rained down into the sea beside them, he just couldn't help but... stare. "...wow..."

Disa's musings were disturbed the sound of an explosion and raining shrapnel. Holy s**t. Had he had the damn things with him, the explosives might have actually taken out both her and him, along with Fluffy. "There go your explosives... and your shield. Guess that'll teach you to play with other people's explosives."

He leaned against the edge of the boat again; or what was left of it after that explosion took out a good couple of feet further down. No doubt this would be the last trip the ferry was making for a while until it repaired the damage.
